I found this place by searching through Gas Buddy.com on the map view, searching along I-5. Not only was it one of the lowest prices around (non-ARCO stations), but it was also super-easy access, right off the I-5 exit at Rosemead (19), right at the stoplight, so very quick and easy exit and return with no delay at all. The low prices were the same for cash or credit cards, and there were no lines, so a super fast and easy experience!

I knew the second I walk in that the two clerks are the type of workers that perform the bare minimum of work and the frace customer service is something from another world. Needless to say I would do any further business of any kind , It demonstrates that if a simple little thing such as allowing the use of a restroom at a gas station is small sample of how much there willing to appreciate my business. this employee tried to fight me after i reported that there was a glitch/ malfunction with the car…read morewash machine. around 8:00 to 9:00 i noticed something was seriously wrong with the machine after i entered in the code. the light kept flickering and the machine was moving very funny... so i went inside to inform the man at the register something was wrong with the machine. he ignored what i said looked at my ticket and said the ticket is valid which had nothing to do with my report. other customers were coming in saying the same thing. i went back to try it again. same problem. i went back in to stress to him something was wrong with the machine so that no one is hurt or their vehicle damage by the malfunction. he started raising his voice and i kept reiterating something was wrong he came from around the register and got in my face like he was going to fight me. i guess he assumed i had limited intelligence like him and was going to fight him. i told him i was going to report him and took a picture of him. he said he didn't care and continued cussing. i don't think its wise to have an employee there that not only doesn't speak english fluently but is a ticking time bomb to customers with legitimate concerns he literally said he doesn't give a f ... if i reported him which shows hes willing to throw it all away to prove how tough he is at work. it's obvious he isn't that bright or healthy but still. one day he's actually going to put his hands on someone and that will cost the company a big fat lawsuit. similar to the potential lawsuit i was actually trying to save his company from by making the report that the something is very much wrong with the car wash machine. i will be speaking with the manager and if he doesn't do anything about this i will go over his head. i didn't say anything to make the old man approach me in a hostile manner. he should be fired immediately. the owner is hiding reviews on google i will take the next step in who to contact.

Wouldn't you know it, within 12 hours of that event, my debit card was stolen. Yep, these guys stole it (I know, because the only other places I used it were a Universal Studios gift shop, and a Chase ATM inside the branch). After more research to confirm what seemed pretty obvious, it turns out several franchised Shell stations in L.A. with similar ownership are known for pulling this ripoff. And they don't even sell lotto tickets, so you'll have to stop somewhere else if you want to grab one of those anyway, so why bother? I thought this was pretty weird, but when you're stealing people's bank funds to make up for low gas sales, why bother with Lottery? Just sell cigarettes, gas, and drain people's bank accounts or sell them on the Internet to people who do (my bank card number was attempted for purchase to buy exactly $100 - presumably an untraceable gift card - at a Lowe's in Georgia, while I was still in CA). Go to the Costco or Chevron up the street, or a different Shell down the street. Don't get ripped off.

Took my 5 gal tank to mike Thompson propane at downey chevron and get charged the minimum 5 gal charge (my tank was empty). Then the service man filled tank up to barely 3 gallons and told me I still had propane. I don't think so. Oh well last time I go there. Paid $20 for 3 gallons of propane.
