Those who know, know! Costco is not only affordable but the quality of all their products is first class. I really did not want to give this place a good review because I don't want people to bombard this place, lol. There is never a huge line at any time I go to fill my car's tank. I go on my way to work and the most I've waited was like 3 to 8 minutes. You do need to be a Costco member to get gas. I fill up my tank with $34 to $36 dollars for the week. Now that we're feeling the sting of inflation and rising gas prices, it's more important than ever to ensure that you're getting value at the pump. Normally when I'm cruising down I-5, I fill up at the Burbank Costco which has the cheapest gas in town. But the Commerce Costco is even cheaper still (12 cents/gallon cheaper today). Not to mention, it seems to be marginally less busy than the station at Burbank. A couple years ago, the Commerce Costco upgraded its gas station to have 3 pumps per lane instead of 2. There are 8 lanes, so 24 pumps total. This station lacks the LED signs that indicate whether or not each pump is occupied, so you have to be observant. Don't be like the dude I saw who had a space open up right in front of him but was holding up the line for a minute because he was looking at his phone. At least there are attendants present to deal with troublemakers. Note that the Commerce Costco warehouse and gas station close slightly earlier than at most other locations. read more

Conveniently located near the main road not too far away from the casino, I bet a lot of people would stop by and get gas over here. Obviously I came on a Sunday where it was not busy, there was no big line of cars wrapped around the street corner, I proceeded to make a turn and the gas station was right in front of me, no traffic directions from Costco employees, no cones block, and of course no misleading of a maze to get a gas pump, I would love to see this place on weekdays to see how busy it is. Best to notice that gas price has increased again within days from 4.79 to 4.99 now 5.1 something, that's why I make sure I filled up the tank whenever I could. The disadvantage from this gas station is that although they have so many gas pumps, there was no electrical signs for when the spot was empty, and the lack of employees to walk around and maybe waving at you so you know it's your turn, they have diesel pumps as well, which I assume lots of big trucks to come here, and without the signs, it will be hard to navigate what happen in front of you, when the other cars will be done. The rows @ far right & left should not have additional pumps. Concrete divider is way too close near the first pump. If one Inconsiderate person with large vehicle is pumping at the front then other two cars behind cannot get out due to limited space. I came here in the beginning of the week after my class and it was around 6pm and I had to wait about 15 minutes to get gas. The price was $3.499/gallon for 87 grade. This is the fastest moving costco gas I've been to! I frequent this location, Fullerton & Lakewood. While at every costco the lines can get ridiculous, the design of this particular loc, allows more space for cars in line. While the others have lines overflowing to even enter the lot, it's rare to see that here because there's more space. Costco gas is definitely the way to go. This is the best Costco for gas in LA, HANDS DOWN! The gas price here is usually one of the cheapest in the greater LA region, there are so many pump stations and the wait never takes long! I usually come to this gas station at around 3pm and even if lines are pretty long, they move quite fast. There is also always an attendant there if you need help, he/she will make rounds just to be sure that everything is running smoothly. If your looking for the cheapest gasoline around the area, it's definitely either going to be COSTCO or SAMS CLUB. The only disadvantage is that you'll need membership to get the gas. The one isn't as busy as the other clubs in the area since it's a business centric club (no pharmacy). If you don't have a Costco membership, go down the street to the corner of Slauson and Paramount (Circle K). The price is pretty comparable to Costco without the membership. Also, they removed the trashcans, so don't bother trying to empty out your car here. When I pulled up to the pump, for some reason my Costco card wasn't reading. I called the attendant on duty and he helped me out. He said it was no problem and swiped his card and just made a note. The ONLY gas station I go to. Something about not being available to just anyone. You have to have a Costco membership to get gas here. The gas price here is always a few cents lower than the cheapest gas station in the area. Plus I receive cash back with my Costco AMEX; well, for now until they finish their contract with AMEX.
