OMG, this has was so good for my car. The station was clean and I was not robbed or mugged. Best free air this side of San Jose:

Not clean. Not maintained. No one else on site except for the woman cashier. I told her there is gasoline on the pavement and she said ok. She looked but i told her you need to go to the pump in order to see. She said ok. 3 mins later I went back inside and asked her if she has some kind of solvent to stabilize the gas. She has no clue. She grabbed some paper towels and just lay over the gasoline. That is not a solution. She says see you again. Ha. Might not be here again if someone drops a cigarette...lol. Hiring someone that speaks and understand English would help. She has no clue how to clean up a gasoline spill. Should learn from Costco. Have solvent for cleaning up emergency spills at the pumps. There should also be at least 2 attendants at this location. Spend several hundred dollars on emergency solution or lose the whole station. Gas here is a bit pricier than most SJ gas stations, but it's also the second closest gas station to the San Jose Airport and exponentially less crowded and stressful that the number one closest (76) gas station to the airport. If you're returning a rental car, you're gonna want to bookmark these pumps. It was clean, no one bothered me while I was here, and I was able to snag one of 2 parking spaces on the lot after I pumped gas to move around the hoard of work stuff I had in my car and toss out some old papers and a multitude of gum wrappers I'd been collecting so I could pretend my car is cleaner than it is for the day. read more

Since I live a hop, skip and a jump away from this location I stop by for a fill up pretty regularly. It is never really busy. I don't think I've ever had to wait for a pump. Just pull in and get started. That could be because this station is on average 30-40 cents more expensive than other nearby Chevron locations. Today for example, regular was $2.99/gal but another location a few miles away had regular for $2.55/gal. So if you're not in desperate need of gas and want to save several bucks on a tank of gas you're better off driving past and catching a better deal somewhere else. Well, it's a Chevron.... It's a Gas Station.... But since when did these places become hubs for teenagers selling cologne?? Honestly, it's pretty ridiculous. They need to get control of the solicitors. My last visit consisted of me filling my tank while some kid sprayed cologne on me while I held 3 bottles of fragrance he was trying to sell me. Ok, so i am not good at saying NO and even though I didn't buy one, i let the guy pitch to me. He just wouldn't be quiet I did not want to interrupt him. In any case, I think Chevron has the best gas out of any gas chain, but seriously they need to put a stop to the solicitors as it has came to the point where I expect and prepare for the solicitors before I pull into the station. read more

Overpriced gas station as are most in California. There's nothing special about this place. Went here because it was close to SJC Airport.

This gas station is conveniently located next to the San Jose airport. I came here at 4:45am to gas up my rental before I returned it, and while gassing up, realized the lighting in the area is very poor and dark. This is not an ideal place to get gas if you are a female, and the sun isn't out. read more

I would not give this Chevron location any stars if possible. The owner of this gas station is extremely rude! I was going to say a racist, however; after reading some of the other reviews left, I see color has no validity. He is simply plain out rude, unprofessional, lacks customer service and is getting away with treating his customers awful. We were vacationing with 5 little girls between two car loads, driving home and naturally, a few needed to use the restroom. Okay, we find his location and it took us a moment to get the children unstrapped from their carseats. We also chatted for a sec about going ahead and getting more gas since we were already here. In the meantime, the owner is loading cases of water into his business and he stops, stares for about a half a second at us and told us to move our cars out of here, move on while pointing his finger and hands to get out. The other patrons were starring like what is going on. He was so rude, Oh my gosh. My niece told him "You know, we were going to fill up our cars here, but with that attitude not thanks" He shrugged his shoulders, said go down to the Shell station, and commenced to yelling, throwing his arm and finger towards the street direction. He didn't even care if he heard my kids, saying mom I have to use the bathroom. I was so upset being a business owner myself, Its not fair to treat your patrons in this manner unless they were causing harm to your other patrons or business. Chevron owner, I hope you read this as you probably still won't care still, but you should treat your customers with more respect because your customers are the ones that keep your business running. Stopped in on my way home from work to fill up and turn in a lottery ticket and buy some more. Filled up, 19+ gallons. Walk into the store and said, "Hi" to the woman behind the counter, her back to me. No comment from her; not even a look. Apparently she was putting cash in the safe. Bad customer service or just not a multi-tasker. Let's see. So I am the first at the L shaped counter; near the lottery tickets. She finishes and turns around to help a customer whose just walked up on the other side with $6 to $8 worth of convenience items. Okay.... Then she helps the next lady who just walked up, same side as the other and started to ring her items up. I asked, "Am I in the wrong line here?" She said, "No, lottery has to wait". I was shocked; the other customer was shocked as well. And was apologizing for cutting in - not her fault at all. Wait, I just spent $70+ on gas outside but because I am not buying $4 worth of chips and soda I have to wait? Really HORRIBLE customer service. Date 10/23/14 time around 5:40pm or so.
