Conveniently located as I exit off of CA87 for work. This Chevron is a huge lifesaver whenever I'm running low on fuel and I don't want to do any crazy detouring from my normal schedule. With so many pumps on hand, this gas station almost always guarantees prompt in and out access. A wait is pretty nonexistent whenever I make my visits and I wouldn't want it any other way. Prices can be on the higher side but this Chevron is well kept, clean, and has its very own busy car wash. It's honestly their attention to all the little details that win me over- employees take the time to wipe the gas handles and monitors throughout the day and I NEVER see that kind of dedication anywhere else. 5/5 stars for the open availability when it comes to gas pumps, the fuel machines are well maintained and I've never had any issues regarding my purchases here. read more

I drove up to this gas station to fill a tire that I realized was dangerously low. The cost to turn on the air compressor was $1.50 and I only had $1.25. I ran into their convenience store and asked the clerk and another worker if I could get a quarter from them. They said no. I then asked if I could buy something and get cash back and they said I couldn't get cash back. They told me to go to an ATM! I then said it's illegal for you to deny me free air if I buy something and they said no it isn't. And refused to give me air even if I bought something. Thankfully a wonderful woman was behind me and she gave me a quarter. These people are the worst! There are two other gas stations next to them that are hopefully better than this place. read more

This Chevron has a car wash feature. You sit in your car while it goes through their wash system and when you get out, they finish it off with a towel dry. You have the option to go or to continue on to self service vacuum or have an interior cleaning done by them. For the whole shabang (aka The Works), it was $46, but it was worth it after the long road trip we just took. They do a great job at detailing and the staff is friendly. read more

No cash back for debit, must use ATM machine. Pump broken when I went, the lady at the counter said I had to swipe my card/redo my transaction. I don't want to be double charged for a pre-paid gas. She had to wait for another guy to come back out from the back before they can take a look at the pump. This chevron is .20 cents more than the chevron at Silver Creek & Capitol Expy. Worst service ever at the carwash. I was excited that this place had a handwash station where the employees manually hose down your car and and clean it without using tracks which may damage your rims. My usual go to carwash was busy and I really wanted to clean my car due to mud from rain earlier in the week. First off, I was not aware that I actually had to stay with the car until they were done with the exterior and drive to another station to clean the interior. I asked the 3 employees there but nobody replied verbally and kept pointing to go inside the gas station which I did. I told the cashier it was my first time here and he pointed to their carwash menu. I chose the midrange one where they wash, vacuum, and clean the dash, doorjams, interior panels of car. The experience was okay at this point. I went to sit down at the 2nd station where another SUV was having its interior cleaned . I waited thinking they would drive my car to the 2nd station once they were finished with hosing down the exterior. After a few minutes, I realized I still had my keys and went to the first station to hand it to them. They did not take it and kept pointing to the 2nd station. By this time, I was not sure what was going on and getting frustrated. Finally, one of the men did said " drive" and pointed to the second station. This was when I got in and drove the few feet to the 2nd station in front right behind the SUV that was getting the interior cleaned. I sat down and waited as the employees dried off the car and started cleaning the interior. After a few minutes, they then proceeded to clean another car that just pulled up next to mine. I asked one employee if they were done and he nodded. I looked at the car and there were still a lot of bug and sap stains that I wanted off the nose cone of the car and he proceeded to wipe it off . He did a half job. I then just told him I will finish off the rest and he walked away. After I was done wiping down the nose cone, I gave him a $5 tip. I always do give tips even though the carwash was not great and communication was horrible . Carwash jobs are not easy and all the employees looked over 50 years of age and somewhat disgruntled. I get in my car and there was still dust in my dash and not wiped off. The door jams were not touched and still dusty as well as the panels. I then asked the original cashier to clarify why these items were not addressed. He claimed that he asked me earlier and I declined due to half my dash being alcantara (suede like material). First off all, I do not recall being asked about that and secondly, there is a reason why I chose the wash package that included cleaning of the dash, panels, doorjams, etc. If I had actually "declined" to get my dash cleaned due to half of it being alcantara (suede like material) , that did not explain why they did not clean the door panels, door jams, footrest, etc. Makes no sense! Why would I pay extra for those things and decline cleaning them? I would just pay for a basic wash, wouldn't I? He then asked the employee I previously tipped to finish off the job that they were supposed to do. He was able to unhappily wipe down the non alcantara part of the dash and the rest of the side panels, doorjambs, etc. It took him a whole 3 minutes and finished off. I took off in a hurry! Such a negative environment. I got home and opened my Tesla glass hatchback trunk, they didn't even vacuum it! I had opened it earlier while at the interior cleaning station. Looks like they did the least work possible and NOT do services paid for unless a customer points it out! I have had many, many carwashes since I was 18 and this place has to be the WORST in terms of service, communication, and cleanliness. Their best efforts are focused on driving customers AWAY! I went here a couple of months ago for a car wash because my usual place wasn't open. To my surprise they were extremely thorough both inside and out. For the value I'd say this is an incredible place. They detailed the inside of my car which took about an hour and it looked spotless once I left. I will definitely be coming here again. Well let's see where do I begin ,tried to use my ATM to put gas in my car to get to work, then the woman accuses me of stealing the atm cause I didn't have my ID card even though I punched in my PIN numbers . Then she tells me I have no money on it ?! I go to the atm and pull out money and what do you know guess I did have money, but I guess since I am brown ,it wasn't mine. She gave me so much attitude and then when I gave her the money she told me that I have the attitude problem and that I have to wait till she was good and ready to allow me to pump . My favorite reviews to write are 5 star or 1 star reviews, and this is definitely 1 star! I prefer to write 5 star reviews. It was raining hard this morning around 11 and I needed gas after taking my Little Miss Sunshine to her gymnastics class. There was only 1 other customer there so they weren't busy at all. I had to go inside to give them cash and one of the doors was propped open, great! I ran through the rain and there was 3 people playing with their phones and laughing, one outside and two inside, blocking the doorway, suck! They didn't move when I approached. So, I opened the other door to let myself in and get out of the rain. I went to the counter and there was nobody there. I looked around and the people who were blocking the doorway were the people that work there. I think one of the guys didn't work there and was just hanging out. So I said "I want to buy some gas." So a woman was able to pull herself away from her phone and took my money. And if you're the owner/manager of this place, one of the guys blocking the open door, playing on his phone and not working was a middle eastern or Indian dude. Yeah, I was upset. First, the pictures listed for this Chevron at the time of this review are NOT of this place, and a lot of the reviews are describing a different gas station than this one! One in particular mentioned there is a 76 across the street that has a competing car wash, but there isn't! This Chevron is located along the Capital Expressway Auto Mall, and it's the only car wash and gas station near the mall. That all said, a few weeks ago they closed their car wash for renovations, and my worst fears were realized. They re-opened last weekend, and the car wash is now much more automated, and works exactly the same as the Almaden Chevron car wash, where the customer has to drive the car through the car wash on tracks. This car wash used to be pretty decent, but Chevron's tracked car wash is universally terrible, and this place is now no different. I used to be a regular customer, but I won't be returning to this place now that they've "upgraded" to something worse than what they used to have. read more

I'm giving this place 2 stars just because my first experience was good but it just downhill from there. I normally go here to get my car washed. First time I come here, they did a pretty good job - got my $17 dollars worth (car wash + vacuum + other cleaning services). I'm normally not a messy person so the car inside is clean most of the time. I bring my mom's car here and I requested that I only want the car wash but not vacuum inside since it's already clean. They were okay with it and gave it to me for $15. About 2 weeks after that, I come back and requested the same thing. They were like "no, I will be $20 now whether we vacuum the inside or not". I gave a bit of a push back. If you are running a business, you need some consistency running it. I can understand that the gas prices fluctuate but it's a bit unusual for cleaning services. Today, I spilled coffee in the car and I come here to ask if they would be able to get it clean. One of them came to take a look said they would be able to clean it but I would have to come on a weekday. Mind you, they were just CHILLING there. I tell him, what the difference is between going on a weekday vs. weekend. He tells me that they were going to close. They were not closing for another hour! I also asked how much it would cost and he said that he will know once he cleans it. What the hell? I just left after that because it was just soooo ridiculous! Bottomline, don't come here! I would give them 0 stars if it was allowed. Their car wash went up to $17.00 for "full service." It would be nice of they told you that that was the cheapest option before they started washing your car. We asked for them just to do the outside of the car, but, the manager said that they no longer did "just the outside." So, I'm stuck there telling him that I don't want the "full service" and he keeps telling me that there is nothing he can do. I give up and pay the $17.00? Everything should be fine and dandy now. Nope, they only "dry" the top of the car, leaving the entire sections below the windows wet and with dry spots. They don't even clean the dashboard; which is part of the "full service." And, to top it all off, there carpet isn't clean. I try asking for a refund. The manager says that he has to charge me more so that they can clean the rest of the car. I grab some of the rags that they are using to clean the cars and start cleaning my own car right in their lot. Talk about full service. I leave extremely disaapointed. read more

This review is for their hand car wash. It took about 10 mins to do my honda civic. All the guy did was power wash, soap (barely scrubbed), rinse. Nothing special but since there was no one behind me I wish he had scrubbed a little harder and took a bit more time to get dirt off my car. Don't waste your time here, I'd rather go to the 76 car wash right across the street, better quality job. read more

I've given this location three shots to fix what I believe should not be accepted for such a franchise as big as chevron. Every time I have visited this location in the evening this employee named Jaskarn doesn't seem to be the friendless I don't know if it's a racial profile thing or simply him not caring for the customer. His attitude is bad, he rushes you to pay and get out of his store, I simply had a simple question of why I was being charged credit for my gas. Instead of debit and it asking me for my pin. He responds "all the chevrons work the same way only CREDIT! I then mentioned that all I pump is Chevron and all of the other locations I've gone whether in San Jose or gilroy or Morgan hill or even going towards LA. If always entered a PIN for debit and for him to say that ALL chevrons are the same is wrong and he should be trained with better knowledge for his customers instead of being rude and argue back and forth and have a receipt waiting for you even before you return to the inside he has it laying on the counter and says "the remaining already went back to your card! Ok!" I'm sorry but After seeing that this location had two stars already for probably the same reason CUSTOMER SERVICE it's sad this location is close to my job and family. Will have to take my business elsewhere I have nothing against him but the way he carried the situation is just not ok.
