I was approached by one of the many homeless that loiter close to this location as I got gas. He had dry chapped lips and open wounds. He asked if I could buy him a coffee and some lip balm and something for his wounds. I purchased those items and they were over $20.00. I was floored, but the guy needed the items and I thankfully was able to help him. If you are looking for value and are able to, there are other stores close by that are much more affordable.

It maintains a level of cleanliness and its shelves are stocked with the standard junk food items you would expect to find for any short roadtrip. Prices are decent for gas and food and beverage items are priced at a comparable rate found at other convenience stores. Staff are always found behind the counter ringing customers up. They are fast. They often have two credit card readers running at the same time. It is rare to find yourself in a line, and if you do, it is for only a few seconds - not minutes. They are one of the few stations that have a free air pump. Unfortunately, it is always busy! You do have to be careful driving and walking around this property because people are in a hurry and there is a lot of movement all of the time. I've noticed more homeless hanging out here lately. It's not a lot, but the presence of anyone loitering outside, sleeping on the concrete in the shade of the building, or coming up to me asking me for help or money does make me feel uneasy. I wish city services, social services, or churches in the area would help work to move these individuals into a better situation. Because of the recent panhandling and general busyness of this establishment, I tend to go to Costco instead, but I am thankful for this Quiktrip.

This Chevron is a little more expensive than the average gas station in these parts but then Chevron usually is. It's a good place to stop if you're in the north suburbs especially considering traffic can be annoying in this part of town so it's really close to a major intersection and not far from the highway.

My biggest complaint about the diesel pumps is that they do not keep them up and so they pump really slow and it takes about 10 minutes to get a tank of gas. My other complaint is that I need to get a receipt for fuel and they never keep paper in their gas pumps. It is a pretty miserable experience and I always dread coming here but luckily my car gets pretty good mileage and I do not have to come here very often
