I have gone inside on Christmas Day, and the workers are still so enthusiastic that you wouldn't even think that they were at work. Having said that, I have to give the station three stars. Not for the reasons other folk cite. The place always seems well picked up and clean. And the folks at the counter seem nice enough. After all, I'm not looking for a new best buddy. My gripes with this station are as follows: 1. The pumps won't take either my or my wife's chip credit cards. At first I thought is was just one pump that was the problem. But it's happened at all I've tried so far. Which means that I have to go to the window and tell them how much gas I want. And if I overestimate how much, they put the entire amount an the card and the give me a credit. A real PITA if you ask me. Sure, I can use my debit card with no problem. But I prefer to get the points on my Visa card. 2. The gas is generic. And, it's not Top Tier Gas which better for your car and readily available at multiple stations nearby. 3. From time to time they have salespeople circulating selling various car care products. They're always polite and can take " no" for an answer, but still ... Sure, there are times when I shop there. But there are also times when the credit card hassle just isn't worth it and I travel down Northwest Hwy. to a more user friendly station.
