I would be surprised if 10% of people actually call it interlake. It's a spot to grab pop, beer, candy, some hot food, ice cream bars, or lottery tickets. It's not fancy. And it's not really super cheap. But that's not what most people expect of a rural convenience store.

In addition to the normal convenience store offerings, there is a display case filled with hot items such as corn dogs, burritos, fried chicken, pizza pockets, etc. The fuel offered is 76 brand and there are four pumps available. It's usually not the cheapest around, though. The air pump on premises has been out of order for several months and does not seem to be a priority for repairing. This proved to be very inconvenient for me when I had a flat tire a few months ago as there aren't many gas stations near this part of Yelm Hwy.

Dinning Area - about 1/2 dozen tables - your typical fast food seating. Menu - typical fare and reasonable prices - especially considering locale. At this point, I've tried a number of burritos (carne asada, camerones, pollo, etc.) and have thoroughly enjoyed them...and their accompanying and varied house salas! We've also purchase to take home and grill a number of their meats (seasoned and unseasoned) and all have been very good! Service is always prompt, efficient, and friendly! It was around 7am on a Sunday, but they were helpful and kinda funny. After we bought our taquito, the cashier told us to go back and make sure we pumped out some queso from the cheese pump into a to go condiment cup. That struck me as being very conscientious of him. We were fine with our purchase, but he wanted to make sure ate it under the most optimal conditions. That type of attentiveness stands out and that staff earns this station a rare 5 stars from me.
