This is a nice Chevron. I have been pumping gas here for years, off and on whenever i am in town visiting my folks here. Its just i hate all the traffic in this area and location. Sometimes its hard to get in and out of this station. But i filled my tank here recently. Some of the pumps were not working . Service is always good, But they need to remodel this whole station. read more

It is hard to get in and out of this location, but their gas prices are competitive. They have a lot of pumps which is great for the busy times, morning and evening. The attached convenient store is a nice size and it's clean in there. No weird smells. They have a ll the typical things you'd find at a gas station-squeegies, paper towel,etc. They accept debit and credit at the pump. read more

Worst gas station . The girl that works there is working having symptoms of covid . She is sick and coughing at the register its ridiculous. I've gone 2xs this wk for my self and husband to pump gas since they are the most economical in prize but the girl shouldn't be working in the cashier under those conditions , I've gone both times pm time, once at 2pm and the other about 5pm. I would come here once a week on my way home after getting off work. The grave yard attendant has a permanent scowl and seems bothered every time that I pay for my gas. I don't expect a big ole smile but this dude gives me the stink eye every time I get gas. I have been coming to this location for about 6 months and like clock work he is sitting on his chair texting and he sees me and rolls his eyes and gets up and looks at me like if I did something to him. Come to this location if you want to be given a dirty look and feel like you are bothering someone.....The homeless also hang out at the location and bother people for change. read more

Can be difficult to get in and out of if the streets are backed up. Not to mention this location itself get crowded at times so moving around to an open pump can get difficult. But the location itself is nice & well maintained. Nice clean quicky mart too. read more

It's a clean gas station, they have several E85 pumps, so the wait is never an issue, unlike other places with only 1 or 2 E85 pumps.

If I could give this Chevron ZERO stars, I would not hesitate. Rodolfo, the manager- ( supposedly)- needs to use wikipedia, so that he can look up and learn about the meaning of "Customer Service" and perhaps attend Retail Business 1O1 courses, because clearly he has failed to grasp basic principles of what that entails. And worsely, all his past complaints; (all the many, less- than- favorable reviews) that have been brought to his attention up until this current point in time, have done nothing to improve this Chevron for which he continues to "manage" . Without delving into all the dirty details of an awful experience that happened approx. a yr ago, I will instead focus on one that occurred a day ago, since I believe in 2nd chances after mistakes r made. While paying for 50 dollars worth of food and drinks, I told the young man checking to please add 20.00 to the pump where my car was.. which was located directly on other side of pump #7. Because I wasnt Exactly sure if my pump was going to be #6 OR #8, I very politely excused myself from interupting his friendly banter, -(which was small talk focused on: "if I worked that day? , what/ where I work; what I did at work", (&) did I have my business card, etc) - so that I could ASK him, while my finger was pointing 2 my car @ pump I'd parked in front of to be sure exactly which # I WUD be using in order to put gas in after being rung up. He glanced out , pushed a button, which I assumed was correlated w the correct pump Id be using upon leaving with my items and receipt. Long story short, he had NOT pushed pump # I was parked at & so apparently, while he was chatting it up and ringing up my multiple food items, another car had come, used the pump he DID -( incorrectly ) push. - thereby This "outside customer" who had used that pump, ( so they say), (inadvertently) put MY $20 worth of gas into their car and left. ** btw I never personally saw ANY car come and go in the short period of time between my final payment rendered and my going to my car to pump MY own purchased gas... hmmm** Longer story even shorter, they couldnt seem 2 fix the prob so had me move to pump he HAD punched, 2 "be SURE a car HAD come to take my purchase"... Still wasnt resolved. Sugg. We use my receipt/ -CREDIT MY credit card & I'd start over, no prob. Had 2 call their boss, ADOLFO. HE instructed them 2 tell me cuz its " her fault, tell her all he can do is offer me 10 out of the 20 just paid! Had my husdand call Adolfo. Adolfo told guys to put me on ph w him. Thats when he said" Its ur fault you gave them wrong #... we only give u ten. It's ur fault other guy get gas".. UMMM..Need I say more??? NO!!! DONT GO HERE. I've hated this gas station for years ever since they shorted us a $20 bill in change and insisted we were the ones who did our math wrong. What a rip off! I frequent convenient stores to get refills of my photos while I drive for work, and they charge $.30 more refill than any other convenient store in Los Angeles. The most I've ever paid for refills $1.19; they will ask for $1.41. It may not seem like a big deal, but when you're doing that every day it adds up.There's a lady there who seems to be the general mattress is very nice but otherwise their staff is surly as well and their gas prices are not competitive. Normally a good station. Today there was a stranded guy asking people for gas money. Knowing that I don't want to just hand someone cash, but trying to be helpful, I told Juanita inside to put $50 on my pump and $10 on his pump. The guy kept going around asking others for money and I told him I gave the cashier money so he could get gas to go home. He thanks me and when I go back to my get change, I ask Juanita if he had pumped already and she said no, he asked for the money back. My next question was, did you give it to him? She said yes, I stood there shocked. It wasn't his money to begin with. Teaches me that going forward I shouldn't help people. What if it had been paid for by my credit card? Would the cashier have given him my account number? Absolutely ridiculous. I got in contact with Chevron customer care and here's their response: "Thank you for bringing this matter to our attention. This is a nice fuel stop with three double islands and three diesel pumps. my favorite fuel stop is clean and safe for all with plenty of lighting at night and surveillance cameras in case something out of the ordinary happens its caught on tape. Locally I have issues with many of the gas stations. They are so crowded and do not have enough pumps. This chevron does not seem to be that crowded and has lots of pumps. 18 pumps to be exact. It also has diesel which does nothing or my but might help you out. I avoided chevron in the past because I found them more expensive then other stations. Today regular gas is 3.79 per gallon and across the street at am pm it's 3.57 a gallon. But I get .10 per gallon for using my Von's card so that 3.69. Plus I can use my visa air miles card. I can't do that across the street. In the end it is a little more expensive but is am paying for the convo eminence of not being crowded. They do have a store but I did not go inside. read more

Lazy clerk Chris After rolling back in from hanging out mid shift at 11:45 at night it's completely rude to multiple customers including me knowing that he pulled up next to me at the propane station then hurry the inside from skipping out on a shift then says he can exchange a propane tank out until 530 I said it's not a refill it is an exchange as in the millions of them in the cage that are there full ready to go doesn't need to be done at 5:30 I can be done anytime of day or night he just didn't want to do it but then kept repeating not till 530 no idea if he was trying to imply 5:30 AM or 5:30 PM he was just that rude he wouldn't even say more words that are necessary But he could've easily said something when he saw the tank being taken over in the parking lot right next to me he's just an ass and I will continue to contact management until he's fired. Don't get your propane anyway it's cheaper down at the mobile gas station at Devonshire and Zelzah. And no attitude super nice people there read more

Besides being the closest Chevron to our house, upon checking the various Chevron stations in the area, this one is always the cheapest price...It's nice to see the price get even lower by inserting my Chevron card. I feel vary safe if I have to fill up during evening hours. read more

I had a terrible customer service experience today. I paid the cashier $53 for gas and merchandise via credit card, $20 of which was for gas. There was a miscommunication, and my pump was inadvertently not the one they'd punched in. After extensive haggling, and calling their customer service manager, and then the owner, I was only credited back $10 of the $20 I'd paid for gas. I was told it was somehow my fault. The issue here wasn't really the inconsequential $10, but rather the point of the matter regarding the establishment's unwillingness to credit me back the full $20. They arbitrarily decided I was only due back $10. I often buy gas and small items at this gas station, but as a long time customer, I will never go back to such a callous, uncaring place of business, that was more concerned about their $10 than they were in making it right.
