This gas station is right of the 101 freeway, the main counter/Cashiers are most of the time friendly and courteous.. The girl that works at the coffee shop is rude, and she's always on her phone, I asked her for a lid for my coffee cup and she rolled her eyes, she was sitting down on her phone and she didn't even said a word and her you go, she just stretched her hand and walked away and set down again..! The counter was super dirty or messy..!! The guy that works the morning shift at the car wash, don't know his name but he is super friendly and helpful and smiling all the time..!! read more

As far as a carwash at Chevron goes, this is bad. I don't expect much from these but really, this??!!! It is pretty much a dry wash. I paid for the deluxe wash. First they manually scrub your windows, then the auto scrubs turn go to work. On a dry car!!! The liquid dispensers are piss poor at best. I could feel my cars paint getting scratched up. After the "spray foam wax" gets applied. Barely a drizzle. Then another dry scrub. Arrrggghh. My poor car!!!! FINALLY some water for the rinse. Avoid the car wash if you value your cars exterior. Here's some genius advice. If a gas nozzle is missing then put an out of order sign on the pump. At 11pm on a stormy night (after being dead stopped for 2 hours on Pacheco Pass due to an accident) I pulled up to pump gas. Just my luck, out of all the pumps to pull up to, I pulled up to the only out of order pump but didn't know it because no signs were posted. Ran my credit card through, reached for the pump and the friggin nozzle was missing. No out of service signage posted. Person sitting at the register reading a magazine couldn't care less. Just had a terrible experience at the drive through car wash. Asked for the wash (basic) and when the associate handed back my credit card I saw a $12.99 charge. I Told him I asked for the Wash and he said "no you said Deluxe". I proceeded to let him know I don't need the deluxe since I already vacuumed my car and cleaned my wheels. He said "shouldn't have asked for Deluxe then". I asked if he can cancel the order and he said "no". Then I asked if he can give me a $5 credit or free car wash for next time, he said "no". The associate didn't provide any solution and instead told me I should have said "$6.99" instead because it's too loud to hear. Because of his poor display of behavior, I will not be going to this car wash anymore. The employee treated me like I did something wrong instead of fessing up to his mistake. Hopefully the Manager could give some advice for how to treat customers or hire better employees. read more

I'm not always happy with the service but for the most part, especially when MaryLu & Ahmed worked there it was great! I've purchased their 10 car wash cards for years for our company vehicles. Yesterday I went in and got a car wash as I had hit a cloud of bugs the night before. I paid for the $6.99 car wash. When I exited the bugs were still there. So I turned around and went back. It's not the only time I've had a bad wash there but I decided it's time to say something. The black curly-haired kid who was at the counter was super sweet. He took video of my car with his cell phone to document it for the owner who had taken off without telling anyone. He said the owner was out driving around checking gas prices. He said "come back tomorrow about this time and I'll be here and we will show my manager." So I was just there again today and if people want to know how people become prejudiced; just go talk to that owner. If he was the only one of his culture I'd met, I'd be biased against an entire race of people. I explained the situation (all of the above) and the owner recognized me as a frequent customer. He proceeded to tell me no such person by my description works at his store. Say what?! He tells me the guy I'm talking about "No way, he's been on vacation for 15 days, no way. You're lying." I walked in and asked the two guys at the counter if they are the only guys working there. One responded "No." and the owner says "They're just cashiers, you can't talk to them." Oh...w-o-w just cashiers huh? Strike one! They bust their buns with the crowds there making this guy money. Second strike mister! Owner tells me the car wash has it's own manager and I should know that. Okay... I'm sure everyone knows that but me right? Then he tells me my car wash 24 hours later looks fine but if you want your windshield cleaned of bugs you have to buy the $10 car wash. Silly me. Anyway, owner again said I was a liar no one like the man I described works there. I said "That's fine, I'm done with you." and I exited the store. For $7 and the aggravation I don't need it. Thinking okay, I won't ever buy a car wash here again. BUT THEN... The owner followed me out to my car and told me to go over to the car wash and they'd take care of it. "I'm done, I'll handle this via other avenues." As I'm trying to back out he repeats for me to take the car back to the car wash, then he adds "Don't come back here." Strike 3, 4 and 5 buckaroo. I stated as I drove away "You don't treat customers that way if you want return business." So buyer be warned. If your car is dirty, you want to pay high gas prices and be treated rudely, then by all means, please stop by this place. Smart people, keep on driving. By the way, I also am in the customer service field. I know, you catch more flies with honey which is the approach I took with the owner. We came in road weary and hungry ready to plunk down a chunk of money on goodies and gas but lost our appetite in the restroom. I usually use this car wash but haven't in a few weeks. They apparently upgraded their equipment, yay. However when I went through the car wash today (first time with upgraded equipment) the rinse was too strong and took off the rubber around some of my windows. When I went to tell them with photos of the damage, the owner (tall East Indian guy) was very dismissive, started texting while I was speaking to him and referred me to the sign about possible damage to vehicles. So I went to look at the sign, which doesn't say anything about damaging rubber window sealants. He yelled at me for going over to see the sign at which time I reminded him he referred me to the sign. I walked back to him to tell him that it states nothing about the damage that was caused and he could see it for himself as my car was right there, he said he didn't need to and proceeded to walk off will I was still talking to him. Beyond rude!!!!! Never apologized for the damage, never offered anything not even a complimentary car wash. Horrible customer service and caused damage to my vehicle. read more

I waited 20 minutes in line at the car wash on my lunch break, only to discover the whole back and top of my car were still dirty, and covered in bird shit. A lot of bird shit... I'm wondering what the attendant even scrubbed... Despite the polish option I chose, it dried looking dingy and with tons of water spots. I came back, nicely asking for a refund or credit to come back later, as I did not have another 20 minutes to wait in line. The manager didn't care to come out and talk to me, but refused both, telling the cashier to tell me I could go wait in line again. Extremely disappointed in my WASTED money. read more

This review is for the car wash. They deserve a 5-star because they always have an attendant that scrubs your car first before entering the wash. That extra scrub makes a difference. It's also nice to know there's someone there just in case anything malfunctions. I've been to other car washes where no one is there to supervise and monitor and sometimes the machine tells you to move up then reverse. It can get confusing and annoying sometimes. $4.99 for a quick wash. The wash can have 2-3 cars inside at a time so the lines move quick at about 2 minutes a car. They even have attendants that manually clean your tires and windshield as you pull up! I was wondering why it was so murky out the whole week, turns out I just needed a good'ol wash. Car wash is probably the best value. $5 for a quick exterior wash. Attendant pre-cleans and scrubs. In and out in a couple of minutes. Doesn't dry all that well, but no major complaints. Bathroom: I'm giving 1 star because of the men's room. I've been going here for years because of convenience but have watched it slowly slide from a pretty nice place to a dirty hell hole. Yes there must be some scummy people to vandalize it so regularly but the plumbing problems that are never fixed properly or the hole in the wall are inexcusable. If I posted a pic of the bathroom here it would blow your mind :) Car Wash: For a drive thru car wash its pretty good. It did damage my tires when I had 20 inch rims with low profile tires, but that has been the only problem. Attendants usually seem nice and have done a good job. Gas: Well its over priced. There is AM/PM up the street which is less and bathroom was cleaner even tho its only one bathroom so I imagine a line can form. Mini Mart: Quick way to get some donuts in the morning, counter people in the morning seem annoyed or uninvolved compared to evening crew. If you just want to go to the bathroom and get a snack go to the Target up the street, they have clean bathrooms and a Starbucks. read more

We have been coming here for several years ... my kids know it as 'the black bathroom place' (black bathroom fixtures - very distinctive) Just today my daughter left her purse there after we had lunch, and the cashier was nice enough to rescue it and hold it for us! I go for the car wash only which is great and if you buy 10 it's $30 off the single price deluxe.

Horible service. If you don't mind paying the highest price in Morgan Hill, then stop by. But if you have to go in the store, you will be treated like crap. It's not just a one time thing, everyone has a tough day, I have been treated bad over 3 times. 3 strikes........your out. I just had the worst experience at a gas station/car wash in my life! When I walked in to pay for my gas the manager was arguing with a customer telling him they were out of gas just because he needed to put it into a gas can because his car was out of gas down the road. I went thru the car wash and my car was still very dirty, so I went back thru and the attendant called the manager, and the manager started verbally attacking me saying the car wash did not cover bugs being washed off my car, and told me if I didn't like it to never come back again! And told me how his family owns over 300 chevron in California, like I care, what does that have to do with my car still being dirty! I like to stop here when going down to Monterey and was actually looking forward to it today-for a car wash.....the attendant was just not paying attention....I needed the vacuum and pulled up to one that said put in 4 quarters-did and it did not work-back to attendant-who took forever and I was told those machines only take tokens-showed him the sign and no help-sought out manager and no help-actually dismissive-called the number they gave me and they hung up...all for a simple $1.00 refund (and by the way those 4 quarters were in their token machine)-did send in an online complaint-but thought would right this to VENT-if they reply and compensate me-fine-will keep going here-otherwise-time to find a new pit stop. This place just ripped me off! Went in to cash in two tickets that were good for three more draws. Each ticket with 5 draws. I won $6 on each ticket. The cashier gives me back one exchange ticket. DO NOT GO HERE! I love Morgan Hill ... Everyone is always so friendly here. The small restaurants and businesses are usually so warm. Except for Chevron at Cochrane I will continue to do business here. The owner and employees are very unhelpful and unexplainably rude. I couldn't believe one of them, his name is Juggs, I had asked a question over the phone and the man said, "I am the only one working right now", and did not help me. A few minutes later I drive up to see 3 more employees around the store! This man lied to me so that he didn't have to do his job correctly. He treated me absolutely terribly. The worst part is ... I think he was the owner! Even when I got there I went up to the counter and asked if they had seen my gas card that I had mistakenly left. Instead of helping me like a genuine person, a woman named Lourdes reverted to mimicking and scowling at me in front of all the customers and even my son. I was suprised when my son spoke up and said, "Stop mimicking her, even I know better than that". I was so shocked that a woman like her could act more childish than my son. I took my Yukon to the attached car wash about two months ago. I'll admit, the car had been sitting for a few weeks, and was dusty. After completing the wash, I always dry the windows and chrome. While checking the car out, I noticed that it wasn't clean. I drove back around, intending to go through again, which is what they've always said to do if I wasn't satisfied. The gas station manager met me at the front of the line, and told me that my car was "too dirty" the first time, and that I would have to pay if I wanted to go through again. After a short discussion, I gave up and paid for another wash. I had a prepaid card for 10 washes, so after this fiasco I explained that I wanted a refund on the remaining washes. The manager replied no refunds, and that was that. Since then, I have been going every couple of weeks until I run out of prepaid washes. Every time, the guy rushes through the prewash, and doesn't get the car clean. Friday was my third trip through since the initial problem, and again they didn't get my car clean. These guys are in such a hurry, even though no one was behind me, that he paid little attention to the car as he did his prewash. Bottom line, find another car wash, there are better ones than this one in town. These guys used to be good, now thanks to an unreasonable manager and a lackluster car wash attendant, my family will go somewhere else with our four cars. Might not matter much, it's just four cars, but hopefully someone will read this who has had poor service or rude treatment from the manager at this facility, and will spread the word.
