Used the car wash here for years. Not sure what's happened, but they've lost their way a bit. They shut down for a week last summer for what they said was emergency repairs. For those of us who have monthly subscriptions, they charged us the normal amount anyway. Couple of weeks ago, same thing, shut down for a week. This time an older gentleman who seemed to be owner or manager said this was all scheduled, to replace half the equipment one year and half the next. Should be all good now. Said they'd take care of the missing days we paid for. Since we have three cars, that's 21 days total of no usage. Of course, we got billed the full amount on all three accounts anyway. Grrrrr. They're transitioning to RFID tags instead of numbered tags to speed things up. Yesterday the car in front of me was having a problem, but they finally got into the wash. I pulled up and the gate opened, but since they were still hosing that car down it shut again. The woman working tried to reopen it, but was having issues. She wanted the number off my RFID tag, which is on the inside in tiny print instead of visible from the exterior like the old tags. I couldn't read it, it was too small but I offered to let her take a picture and blow it up if she wanted. She asked if she could stick her head in the window to read it, and I said fine but she couldn't do that. She said not to worry, she'd let me in. Which made sense, because now two cars delayed in a row meant there was a pretty good line behind me. That would have been fine, but then one of the guys with the hose came over and said he needed to see the credit card on the account. One problem though: We have three accounts on two different credit cards and I don't know which one is on this car. He insisted, when the woman had already handled the situation to my satisfaction. So I backed out and left. Now I have zero accounts there. Plenty of other places in Morgan Hill, including two new ones soon to open. read more

But the employees, a couple are friendly and say hi tp everyone, yet others completely ignore customers and dont say a word when spoken to. We tried the giant cookie because it looked good, but it was hard and not good. But we do come in for their coffee since its cheaper and faster than Starbucks. And well.... tastes better than homemade, its the sugar lol. read more

This review is for the automatic car wash located behind the Chevron gas station at Vineyard / Monterey. I was looking for an alternative in Morgan Hill to the automated washes at Arco, which has been down a lot lately and becoming increasingly unreliable. Arco's carwash starts at $6, going up to $10+ and mostly serves its purpose when it DOES work. The washes here are a few bucks more, but i know why... The first time i tried this place i thought $10 was a little much, but soon discovered its SOOOOOOO much better in terms of how much better this system cleans compared to the crappy Arco "swishy monster". ;) Right off, tge amount of soaps and sudding was SIGNIFICANTLY more and did a 1000% better job than the other washes ive tried in Morgan Hill. In fact, id compare the quality of the exterior cleaning to be on par, or better than the Morgan Hill Car Wash up the road which uses both automatic sprayers and hand wiping /drying. This wash even took off the hard to remove bugs and bird poop which the "MH car wash" never seems to fully clean despite paying over $22 for their lowest cost option! This automatic system is much more modern and better than others ive tried in town. Ill definitely be back! read more

How are you going to have coupons for the car wash then not accept them? First it was "I don't take the coupon" when it is clearly for this gas station nor is my coupon expired. Then it went to "I don't know how to do it." She said to "come back tomorrow." How do I know the same thing won't happen tomorrow? Such a waste of time. Why is she not taught how to apply coupons. How cool is it to need gas, only to have the literal pumps be padlocked for absolutely no reason whatsoever! Jokes aside, avoid this station at all costs. Used to go to this car wash frequently but has been on a constant decline over past years. Stopped there today to wash my wife's accord and asked staff for vacuum tokens and they told me they were out for vacuums they recover the tokens from. No rags for the past couple of years to dry cars. Car wash movement speed was notably faster than prior and accordingly the wash was poor at best leaving all kinds of bugs on the windows and dirt on the sides and rear of the car. Suggest stepping up the car wash or close it up...not worth the $7. I am going to need to hand wash tomorrow or go to another car wash. Done with this place. read more

He assumed my son was stealing and had the nerve to "demand" my son to show him what's in his pockets! My son, not knowing what was going on, showed him what was in his pockets! Excellent option for a car wash when in a pinch. Tried Vineyard Car Wash when the ARCO's was down... For the price it's a great value! Same price structure as your standard robotic car wash and Anywhere Gas Station (how crazy is it we live in a world where robots wash our cars?!?) but! Vineyard Car Wash has a cheerful attendant that gently pre-washes the "hard to reach" areas on your car as your slowly drawn into the wash- ensuring there are no embarrassing dirty spots on the roof or sides or wheels! I will be using Vineyard again the next time I've been too lazy to wash the Sentra myself! read more

This place is ok most of the time but when it's full it definitely packed inside the snack shop. Sometimes they have good deals on drinks the ice is really cheap. Usually 2 rockstars for 4$. Asked me to get estimates, file incident report and all the run around for over a year by sharma management. Passed back from Shashi the owner To Rick the GM. Only to get promised paying for their machines damage to my truck, nothing ever happens. They are very practiced at their deception. They try to wear you out so you just drop it. Nope! The attendant was having me back up, I couldn't figure out why, he turned the stop sign toward me, in a smartass tone says "Wait here for the attendant" his buddies thought his rude arrogant behavior was funny. This is the worse car wash I have been to for a couple of reasons. I received a voucher for a free car wash. I went to the Vineyard Car Wash website and followed the free ultimate car wash prompts. After I redeemed the coupon it stated I have 24 hours to use the coupon. I go to the car wash to find out it expired. I'm showing the attendant I have 2 hours before it expires. The website is counting down in real-time. The attendant is still telling me it expired. He told me to back out or pay for the car wash, and I told him I can't back out because of all the soapsuds your car wash put on my vehicle. I asked him if he had a rag so I can wipe down my car. He didn't want to hear it. Eventually, the car wash was paid for. Only because the car was a mess at that point. The car goes through the car wash to find the whole car is still covered in water and soapsuds. Not the front and the back of the car like you normally find at other car washes, but the whole car was covered in water and soapsuds. I wanted to give this local business owner a try before I subscribed to the monthly unlimited car wash service they offer. What I learned about Vineyard Car Wash is poor customer service and a terrible job at cleaning the car. I had to bring my car to another car wash just to remove all the soapsuds and dirty water left on the car. read more

It's a gas station in a really decent location on your way out of town. The only problem is the entrance can be confusing if you enter from the cross street and not Monterey Street. Pay at the pump. Wipes and squeegees to clean your windshield. Not a single problem. Paid, pumped, and was on my way. This gas station is now my go-to gas station in Morgan Hill. Hooray! read more

Only giving two stars because it's not a great wash, the vacuums (that you are supposed to get to use for free only take quarters), and it closes too early. I don't known what the deal is with Morgan Hill and car washes, but there is ALWAYS something wrong! The ONLY good car was is the full service wash on Monterey Rd, but it's always busy and around an hour wait time. The self-wash car wash is one of the worst in the greater South Bay. Other convenient drive-thru washes are not working/operating: Arco, Shell. That leaves two Chevrons, here and across town on Conchran. The one at Cochran seems better to me, and it's longer. So, two stars mostly because this place is at least operating. read more

I don't know if I'll be back. Yes, it's the closest station to my folks house, and I drive by on a semi regular basis, but I just over paid for a crappy carwash and no one even seemed to car. My tires were still filthy and I do believe the car looked better before. So sad...and no one was directing me. Where do you go after your car is pushed out of the washer? Do I park and you help me vacuum? No one seemed willing to explain all of this to me. And I'm sorry but it's not instinctual. Gas? The nice thing is that you can now use your Safeway point here. But ya know what? I'd rather go to the safeway gas station across the street. Sure it might take a few minutes of waiting in line, but at least they don't try to sell you bad car washes. read more

OK this gas station just straight up sucks. I've had nothing but terrible experiences here yet there are always those one or two times a year when I'm in a bind for time or gas and this seems like my only option. Each of these experiences reminds me why I dislike them so much. The staff is not friendly and I had one experience with the car wash which was deplorable. I purchased the car wash at the pump only to find out it was out of order. I went inside to get a refund and was told the worker did not know how to. I asked her to call someone that could and she refused, telling me to come back another day. She handled the situation terribly and offered no apology or anything. The pumps are so damn slow and it seems at least half of the card readers at the pumps are out of order at any given time. The car wash is decent, when it is working, but it is not touch free and I could only imagine how the customer service would be should it ding or scratch your car. I now have learned to avoid. So, I will continue to drive the half mile down Monterey to World Oil where the staff is quite friendly, the prices are low, the pumps are fast and always work and the card readers are money. read more

I have washed my car for years at this place and it gets better and then it falls back, but its still the best in town although that isn't saying much. Yesterday they were out of drying towels plus the rinse water was apparently dirty because there were dirty spots on the paint in areas which were drying before I could wipe them off . The entire rear of the car was dirty also as though it had never been into a car wash. I asked to see the manager because dirty water ought tube a concern. The young man I asked said there was no manager, it was employee managed and the the water was clean, not dirty but if I was not pleased, I could run it through again. read more

The prices are always on the lower side for a Chevron, which is a positive. The wash part of the carwash is great, even the $8.99 deal (cheaper if you have a Chevron card) leaves your car sparkling.
