They convinced me with their reasonable prices and unlimited towels and vacuuming! The drive thru car wash was quick and did a good job cleaning my car. I wish it cleaned the under body better. However, to be fair, I live in the country and don't regularly wash my car, which is to say there was a LOT of built of mud and sand on my vehicles' underside. I purchased the mid-tier wash package. The customer service was great! I needed the attendant to turn on the vacuum for me at least three (3) times and he was ready and happy to do it every time. Your car won't be as clean as paying for a detail, but you can save over $200!

Today was a little bit different. The attendant was talking to another attendant, and I rolled up to the car wash, selecting machine and was working my way through the automated screen to pick my car wash and he came over and kind of shoved my hand out of the way. I said I think I've got it. He said no you don't. And then proceeded to pick out the car wash for me that I wanted. I guess you could hook this up to good customer service, but it was the approach that he used in the attitude that really threw me off. My response to him was "you know, if you let your customers do this themselves we could probably just figure it out. His response was you were doing it wrong and this is my job. If you have a problem, you can go talk to the management. He sort of escalated the situation belittled me while he was doing it and so my response was I think you're not giving me very good customer service. I don't really wanna talk to you about it anymore. I'll just finish this on my own to what she said it's ready for you to tap your card. Then he started giving me a lecture about how I was being a rude customer. But I snapped back at him and shouldn't have. In all honesty my response to people when they're rude to me is pretty rude back. I don't try to sugarcoat it. There's a very similar car wash on tenant that doesn't have a guy outside arguing with you about pushing the touchscreen button and I think I will be going there from now on. I think maybe the management team should really coach their employees on Customer Service and etiquette.

For those of us who have monthly subscriptions, they charged us the normal amount anyway. Couple of weeks ago, same thing, shut down for a week. This time an older gentleman who seemed to be owner or manager said this was all scheduled, to replace half the equipment one year and half the next. Should be all good now. Said they'd take care of the missing days we paid for. Since we have three cars, that's 21 days total of no usage. Of course, we got billed the full amount on all three accounts anyway. Grrrrr. They're transitioning to RFID tags instead of numbered tags to speed things up. Yesterday the car in front of me was having a problem, but they finally got into the wash. I pulled up and the gate opened, but since they were still hosing that car down it shut again. The woman working tried to reopen it, but was having issues. She wanted the number off my RFID tag, which is on the inside in tiny print instead of visible from the exterior like the old tags. I couldn't read it, it was too small but I offered to let her take a picture and blow it up if she wanted. She asked if she could stick her head in the window to read it, and I said fine but she couldn't do that. She said not to worry, she'd let me in. Which made sense, because now two cars delayed in a row meant there was a pretty good line behind me. That would have been fine, but then one of the guys with the hose came over and said he needed to see the credit card on the account. One problem though: We have three accounts on two different credit cards and I don't know which one is on this car. He insisted, when the woman had already handled the situation to my satisfaction. So I backed out and left. Now I have zero accounts there. Plenty of other places in Morgan Hill, including two new ones soon to open.
