GAS IS EXPENSIVE - DO NOT BUY!!! About 20 miles or so south when you see the Love's gas sign and various gas stations, you can get get gas for about $1.20 less!!!!! That is a lot!!!!!! Do not buy gas at this way overpriced gas station by Bravoland. Also, for the 1st time in my life, the gas did not stop pumping when my tank was full. Gas gushed out all over the side of my truck and ground. You'd think with all the extra money they make on gas here, they'd maintain their pumps better. read more

Their brand new men's room is always bloody closed. No matter what time you go... They don't put a sign on it saying its closed. You end up walking all the way across the damn lot to find out the hard way, then have to walk all the way back to use the nasty ass one inside... Its like they lock it on purpose so no one can use it, and they won't have to clean it... Oh and expect your Chase debit card to be declined all the time having to go inside and "preauthorize" a specific amount. Chase says it's their machine, Chevron says it's Chase. It's shame that although it's a clean stop to get snacks, etc... It's a messy restroom. And by messy I mean it went from a 3 to a 1 after actually making it inside and there was barely any paper and no hand towels to be seen. I always manage to stop at this gas station in Kettleman City. It's the first one on the right, has a McDonald's attached to it (we never go) and bathrooms inside as well as outside. Amazingly though, some of the bathrooms will be closed or so nasty inside that I wish they were. But the store itself is okay with a decent selection of road goodies and what really makes it happen is just that its the first business off the freeway, making it a convenience. Have to say that the map here on Yelp shows it off to the left of Hwy 41 when really it's tucked against it and Ward Drive. read more

I travel between SF and LA nearly every month and have always stopped here for the last 2 years BUT I'll be looking for a different stop after the last couple visits have been sub par. They used to always have the separate bathroom building open and it was generally acceptable in terms of cleanliness and air conditioned but for the last 6 months they haven't opened them. As a result, you have to use the bathroom in the station shop which are absolutely disgusting - literally what most people imagine when they think about a gas station bathroom. There's always a line for the 3 women's stalls. For a while only 2 of the stalls had doors. The last time I was there, they had supposedly just "cleaned" the bathroom yet there was no soap in the dispenser...during COVID. To top it off, multiple gas pumps were out of order. The female attendant at Extra Mile was EXTRA rude, Looks like I'll be getting gas at Shell on my way back thru. Of course employees had no name tags, toilet seat covers were empty, toilets were clogged with toilet paper and well you know, toilet stuff, restroom was overall filthy! Sweet Jesus, thank goodness for a clean McD's and gas station. Restroom was clean. Gas was easy-in and out.

This place has some seriously slow gas pump. We have waited 10 mins now for only 15 gallons! Don't go here if you have a big truck or SUV that takes a lot of fuel, just a waste of my Football Sunday time! read more

It's a clean and new looking station with a built in MacDonald. Super convenient next to the freeway. Downsides are that it's the most expensive station in town, long lines during afternoon rush with all the I-5 travelers, and it's blazing hot here. read more

Don't go here, the place is a total ripoff. You can get top tier gas for $1 per gallon cheaper just down the 5 in either direction. This place is an overpriced trap just because there is fast food at the same exit. Plan your trips to AVOID filling up at this exit all together. Greedy highway robbery. read more

Saw the sign off I-5 for gas and assumed there must be something there besides gas. But there ain't nothing. Large, vary standard food mart and clean bathrooms. The hubby and I happened to stop by this Chevron in Kettleman City along our drive down to Solvang for the weekend. It is pretty big with many pumps to choose from. There's a McDonald's inside (we didn't have any breakfast here but a definite plus if you're hungry or have little ones who might want a happy meal). The inside of the store is clean and well stocked with all sorts of drinks, snacks, and goodies. We filled up and loaded on more Red Bulls before heading out on the road. read more

Crazy exit issues. You have to turn right away from the highway but no one will turn until they can get into the left turn lane on the main road (at the light). Hundreds of cars backed up here. Either go away from the main road and turn left twice to get to the cross street or go a mile down the main road and pay 30 cents less per gallon and avoid the traffic mess entirely. read more

I pretty much stop here at least once a year on my drive to/from SoCal. It's always pretty busy, probably because it's connected to a McDonald's. The men's bathroom is always pretty quick, but there always seems to be a line for the ladies. They have a wide assortment of your typical gas station snacks and candies, but the last time I stopped by, I couldn't find the cough drops for the life of me. =( read more

I was here ever so briefly en route from LA to SF, and the bathrooms were not fabulous. Kinda smelly, but not foul. Definitely a 3 star bathroom experience. At least there was no line for the gas pumps or the bathrooms, so I'd stop here again. Never thought I'd write a review for a public restroom... But there's a first time for everything! We stopped here on our way home from southern CA for a much needed restroom break. It was 100 degrees outside and this restroom right off the freeway had 15-20 stalls, and it was air conditioned and clean. The parking lot is shared by Chevron and McDonalds. read more

Came here to get gas for our uhaul. I walked in and the girl at the counter was on the phone. Did not acknowledge me when I walked in and then continues to talk on the phone. I just stand there waiting for a few minutes. Then she very rudely says can I help u. I tell her what I need. Then again very rudely almost yelling say I need you over here. Just left here a few minutes ago. Had to use the restroom. As per usual in a public place, I pulled up my pants after taking care of business and used my foot to flush the toilet. The pipe that feeds the toilet sprayed water all over the front of me so that I turned my back to it and it soaked that too. All the way up to my hair although I was standing up. Luckily it was the fresh water but OMG! I left the bathroom in shock and told the lady at the register who didn't even apologize offer me a towel. Nothing. So I grabbed a bottle of water and two candy bars and when she returned I said the least they could do is comp me a snack. She said she couldn't do it. So I asked for her manager who came out and said the same thing! I was in shock. She said no one had said anything about it before me. I am still in shock. No apology. No towel. Nothing!
