I came here about two weeks ago as a friend needed to charge her car and she has never been to this location. She thank me for suggesting this location as there is a rest area where you can buy coffee and chairs to rest. Best of all there is bathroom and water refill. There is vending machine inside that you can buy snacks. There is also walking distance to a taco restaurant nearby which you can buy food to go and come back and eat at the rest area.

I really miss the coffee shop they had inside. I know it prob didn't do much business w Starbucks across the street (and now a newer one even closer/across a diff street) but it was just a fun treat whenever we'd roll through for a charge. Still very clean and still think they need to update that keypad and code. I'm posting two pictures of my lattes I took from back when they did still have the inside Tesla coffee shop. The other pics are from last month (December 2025)- what the place looks like currently.

Beware of the vending machines! This location is still one of my favorites because of its fast chargers, windshield cleaning supplies, hot/cold water dispensers, and indoor/outdoor places to sit. When vending machines replaced the coffee stand, it was disappointing but at least the machines were convenient and easy to use and pay for via digital wallet. BUT, the new vending machines from 365 Retail Markets are a scam. We were overcharged by over twice the posted price on each of our different transactions, the receipt promised was never sent, and the requested response to a survey was unanswered. Enjoy the lounge, but skip the machines unless you want to be ripped off with no receipt and no recourse.

We're normally across the street at Bravo Farms, but we decided to check out this station since we didn't need food. First of all - there are a ton of chargers available both 250kW and 150kW. I just read up on the difference and car compatibility - worth looking into if you're a new Tesla owner. The lounge is very close to the charging stalls (as opposed to Bravo Farms, where you need to walk a little). The lounge is large, with clean restrooms, and free WiFi. Coffee and snacks are available for purchase at vending machines. Nice place to relax while your car is charging. Great supercharging spot!

This Tesla Supercharger station is located in Kettleman City and has a nice lounge area that is free to use. I stopped by here as a mid way point on my drive at interstate 5. This is a nice location because there are many chargers, a lounge space for resting, and restrooms. The lounge code can be found via the app or when the Tesla is routed to that location. Best part is that it's near restaurants, some walking distance and some that would require a 1-2 minute drive. This was my third time at this Tesla supercharger location and it looks different than it did before. It looks newer, there are no workers inside, and the prepackaged foods and drinks require payment. Therefore, I didn't get to interact with staff there. Overall, with the convenience of getting to charge an EV and having a space to rest, this place continues to be my go-to rest stop when driving on the i5.

The supercharger station is clean, spacious, and has ample charging spots. The bathrooms are quite average, and the interior is fairly plain. While it is meant to be a pit stop for maybe 20-30 minutes, it really doesn't have any features that provide a premium experience. Its barebones facade, both inside and out, don't really align with any "exclusivity", and the quiet energy inside feels very "sterile".

This is a great Tesla charging stop. There's plenty of chargers and a Tesla building you can rest inside of. Some basic drinks and beverages you can buy. Cushy seats. Starbucks and Carl's Jr across the street. Saw a family in here letting their child walk on the tall table where people eat. What's happening to the US. :/

On my way to San Jose, from So Cal; this is my Go-To Supercharging station. It's located exactly halfway in distance. I love the fact that we can relax inside the AC lounge. They have available air and squeege for people to use is a big plus.

This is a huge facility with over 20 charging stations! In the summer, this place is an oasis for Tesla charger users. Besides the solar panels covered charging stations, the users may access the lounge nearby. Inside the lounge, you may test, relax, use restrooms, and hang out while charging your cars. One note, though, non EV cars parked there may be towed away by owner's expense. The lounge has service personnel for cleaning & monitoring. Additionally, there are restrooms detached from lounge, but a word of caution, though, no climate control there. It will be either extremely cold in winter & extremely hot in summer! One tiny nuisance that I found was the fact that 1st time user may hard time finding the access code (in the Tesla app) to the lounge! Error message would appear instead of access codes when one press the location followed by selecting the appropriate lounge! The workaround is to scroll down and select the appropriate named lounge. Then, you will see the code inside the info page. Enjoy re-charging to human as well as your EVs!

This is by far my favorite Tesla Supercharger! Not only are there tons of stalls, but they've set up a super cozy spot for travelers to chill. While your car's getting its juice, you can grab snacks, sip on coffee, or even enjoy free hot and cold water. Restrooms? Sparkling clean. Seating area? Spotless. Perfect pit stop if you're taking a highway road trip -- honestly, if all charging stops were like this, I'd look forward to running low on battery. Highly recommend!

A lot of superchargers here. Clean lobby and bathroom. There are more superchargers across the 41 hwy next to In N Out.

LOTS of chargers up to 250Kw. The unique feature is the LOUNGE. See picture for directions for code to enter door. It's disappointing that it is completely automated. It's cool and comfy but not user friendly. There are no prices on the vending machines. One machine has a digital option to look up prices but the coffee hot chocolate machine did not. Do I have to scroll down the OTHER machine's price list? Who knows. Just plan ahead for the learning curve. LOL!

Tesla Lounge is a nice spot to relax. They have cold and hot water, a place to make tea, a snack machine, and a coffee machine. You can also work or charge your phone while your car is charging. The location is convenient, close to a restaurant, gift shop, and Starbucks. Comfortable for a quick break while exploring the area.

Ask the Community - Tesla Supercharger

Is there a way to contact any Tesla person at this location for lost and found?

I am not sure, but 2 - 3 ladies were at the coffee area selling coffee. Maybe can ask them?

Is there a way to contact the Tesla supercharger location in Kettlman for lost and found. I left a pair of headphones in the customer lounge area adjacent to the bath rooms?

Good huh d e

Are non-Tesla owners allowed to visit the lounge? I'm a big Tesla fan and have heard so much about this place, and will be driving through and wanted to check it out.

Unfortunately there is an access code that appears on the Tesla screen when you arrive. The code changes from time to time, so if you're not a Tesla owner, you won't be able to get the access code to enter the lounge and/or outdoor bathrooms. You… Read more

What's the wifi password for Tesla Guest?

It's posted on the wall in the lounge. I would think they change it up periodically.

If road trips had pit crews, the Tesla Superchargers at Highway 5 and 41 in Kettleman City would be…read morea first-round draft pick. This location is fantastic. Let's start with the big win: around 50 stalls, all rocking 250 kW charging. Translation--fast, efficient, and zero charger anxiety. Even during busy travel hours, this place feels roomy and calm instead of frantic and Hunger-Games-adjacent. The area is clean, open, and well laid out, which is more than I can say for some supercharger sites that feel like an afterthought squeezed behind a dumpster. Location-wise, this one understands the assignment. Right off the freeway, painless to access, and just as easy to jump back on in either direction. No weird detours, no "did I miss the on-ramp?" moments. And while your car is gulping electrons, you get options. In-N-Out is right there for a classic burger fix, and Bravo Farms adds a nicer sit-down vibe if you want something more leisurely. Food choices that don't feel like a compromise? That's a road-trip luxury. The only thing keeping this from five stars: no restroom on site. You'll need to walk about 100 yards to the nearest spot, which isn't the end of the world--but when nature calls mid-charge, you definitely notice its absence. All in all, Michael, this is a thoughtfully designed, high-capacity, road-trip-friendly supercharger stop that clearly planned ahead. Add a restroom and this place would be elite-elite. Until then, it's an easy four stars and one of the better charging stops on the I-5 corridor. Until next time...
