If you need any gas today. Don't pump gas on number 4. The gas sensor didn't go off and unclick the gas handle. So it overfilled my car all the way to the top and began to spill from the top of the handle like a fountain, and spill all the side of my car and even soaked my pants when trying to get the handle off. Even when I unclicked the handle -gas it kept spilling out of the handle. (No longer charging me but still spoiling all over the floor) Terrible situation to be in as I am not financially able to buy a new pair of pants and shirt this moment and worst part its my work scrubs that are now saturated in gas. When I mentioned the issue to the cashier she didn't even bat an eye, or even go outside to put a makeshift sign to inform upcoming customers. read more

I don't know what the whinging is about. It's a fkn gas station. Not a spa. The access is easy. In and out with very large driveways and a huge allowance around the edges of the station for the plaza traffic to weave around. For fk sake don't park in front of the pumps to do your shopping inside. Pump your gas then park your car somewhere else so others can get in. IT'S A GD PARKING LOT FFS. You people need to stop asking for ID to buy some damn cigarettes when a customers been going there for the last 6 months and you served them every damn week. Especially during the pandemic, I do not want your bare hands to touch my ID that I will put back into my wallet. The parking lot is a veritable death-trap of sorts after a few beers. There are cars and trucks coming at you from all different angles, and wooooosh you're flying by the McDonald's sign in your big giant Cadillac, and suddenly, you're parked in front of your pump at the old trusty Chevron... The employees who work here actually bid me "Good Luck" when I buy my Lotto tickets here (bless my soul, I know), and I often grace them with my presence post-3am on a Saturday or Sunday morning, dressed in nothing but my boxers, a white tank top (wifebeater), and my Tom's slip-ons. They humor me. Still, I can't bring myself to eat their food... or begin to understand why I am reviewing a gas station... or why gas stations even have food in the first place... but I digress... Competitive gas prices, actual soap/cleaner in their windshield & squeegee tanks (unlike most cheapskate shops in Orange County who only fill them with water), and the fact they are open 24/7 makes me say, you're alright, Chev... you're alright... read more

On my way home from Vegas, i needed to gas up my car. The store manager Miledi could see i was tired and she recommended me good deals on rock star's. I soon realized i left my card in the car, but she let me know that they were up on technology and i could use Apple Pay! Everything was so convenient, clean and very organized! The shopping center where this station is located is extremely busy. You definitely don't want to come here to gas up at peak hours. I came at 10:30am on a Friday morning and it was still tough to find an open pump. What I like: The window washing buckets and squeegies are cleean and in good shape. Clean windows are imperative! This location has an open layout where you can get in and out quickly. Gas up on the outside and you won't have to wait for the slowpoke gasser to finish! McDonalds is next door. Fill up gas in the early am, then grab an Egg McMuffin! Pumps are always working, no circling around for the pump without the "out of order" sign. It would be great if they partnered with Ralphs. I have to drive too far to get discounted gas and who the heck shops at Pavillions/Vons nowadays?? read more

Very convenient place for a Chevron. It doesn't get too packed. You don't have to wait usually more than 2min to get a space to put gas. It part of the shopping center that I always go to so it is good that is surrounded by other stores. read more

This Chevron is at a very convenient location, right by my work, so I come here for gas pretty often. It's inside a little shopping center and right next to McDonald's so the traffic can get pretty bad sometimes. But the gas prices are usually a few cents cheaper than the ones closer to my house. I've been inside a few times to buy some snacks and the staff is very friendly too! read more

I don't normally gas up my car at this station, but it's close to work and if the tank is empty, I don't have much of choice for a Chevron station. FYI, Chevron is the only brand of gas that I'll put in the car. I've been told that you should pick a brand and stick with it, mixing brands is not good for the car. Anyways, in the few times that I've been here, the prices are a tad higher than my usual place and it's usually a zoo. Perhaps it's the added convenience of having a McDonald's right next door. Since it's in the city of Irvine, the pumps are nice and clean looking. read more

Have been here about 5 times now, every one of them a bad experience. The flow of traffic always sucks regardless of what time you come here. However, that's to be expected as it's the closest station to the 405 exit here. The real problem lies in the customer service. Every single time me or my girlfriend have come into the store to buy a drink or smokes or anything for that matter, we've been treated like absolute crap by the employees here. The Indian guy has one of the most vile attitudes I've ever seen and judges you for what you're buying making little snide remarks about your purchase while ringing you up at the pace of a snail. Imagine buying a red bull and the guy just sitting there laughing to himself saying how stupid you are for drinking these things. Dude, if you care about my purchase of one of these cancer-cans, I don't really care, you're there to let me pay for it. Just a few minutes ago I saw another guy ring up a little old lady, double charge her, and then yell at her saying that he didn't make a mistake. All the while the 7 of us in line clearly saw he overcharged her. Oh yeah, the wait times. If you think getting gas here is bad, try buying something in a timely fashion. The whole time the guy is yelling at the old lady, two other employees are chatting it up doing nothing right behind the line of 7 people. After 5 minutes pass, one of them finally figured it's time to hop on the other register. That would've been great if she wasn't as slow as the other employees here. Took 3 minutes to buy a pack of gum and cigarettes... Sigh. Not a good start to my day. read more

Beyond abysmal service. The employees here are annoyed to have to ring people up on the register, never smile, and act like being interrupted while texting at work and leaning up against the far counter is an imposition on their valuable "not doing anything" time. They do not recognise repeat customers, can't be bothered to clean the restrooms occasionally, refill squeegee soap bins, or walk several feet to ring up a customer when there's a line out the door. Save your time, money, and stop at a gas station where the employees care about having a job. read more

This parking lot is a nightmare, so be careful coming in and out during peak times. Also if you're getting lotto tickets cashed here, go somewhere else. The CVS and Ralphs in the same parking lot also cash tickets and are much friendlier about it. Several times cashing lotto tickets here I've run into situations that could have been handled much better but backed me into a corner forcing me to redeem there when I had no desire to do so. In general it's an okay spot for gas since you don't have to talk to anyone. The inside doesn't offer much but a few snacks and drinks. If you're driving by, there is a nicer gas station just across on the opposite corner of Jeffery and Alton. Give that one a try. read more

Got to give this place 2 stars because of its location. The Irvine Company may have done an awesome job designing the neighborhoods and shopping centers in Irvine, but they could not pick the people who actually routinely drive a car in those areas. People in Irvine, in my book, are bad drivers. This Chevron is in a strip mall parking lot right next to a busy McDonald's, CVS, and Ralph's. Traffic in and out of this place can be ridiculous and most drivers do not follow posted instructions, nor do they practice neighborly driving techniques. Don't expect someone to quickly move away from the pump after they gas up. They often sit there and text or reorganize their belongs. So, overall, the location brings it down but I will give them at least 2 stars because my truck has never had issues with Chevron gas over the years and I trust their gas over several other chains. read more

This Chevron is poorly run. About 70% of the time there is no paper for receipts. So if you are someone who needs a receipt, count on waiting in line inside to get one. The pumps themselves are slow, and I mean REALLY SLOW! Today they are filling up at about 1 gallon every 90 seconds or so. If you need even 10 gallons such as a Prius, plan on sitting in your car long enough to write this review and play a few games while your car fills up. It's like watching paint dry. Ridiculous. If you can, go elsewhere. read more
