I went to claim some old lottery tickets and buy some new ones at this store at around 1:10pm pacific on 7/30/2023 Sunday. The cashier asked for my ID so I showed my permanent resident card. She claimed that this is not a valid ID to claim the lottery and refused to listen to me. Then I asked my husband to claim the ticket with his valid driver license and she refused to serve him either. I use my permanent resident card for flights and IT IS a valid government issued ID! She has very bad and rude attitude from the very beginning. I heard she was arguing with another client behind me too. I suggest avoiding this gas station. You can find gas stations everywhere. Finally reopened after the construction, and the pumps take chip cards and tap n pay! So awesome! Attendants were refilling the squeegee bins which is always nice to see too. I like the wide aisles here, and I've never seen any long lines. Conveniently location, though the drivers in this lot are often oblivious. read more

Honest to God I believe these are consistently the CLEANEST PUBLIC RESTROOMS I have ever seen. I've been to this Extra Mile Chevron far too many times. Early in the morning to get gas... late afternoon on a run... walking the dog... Each time, restrooms are clean as a whistle! I am laughing so hard that I'm Yelping about this gas station. Maybe my inner Public Restroom Snob is showing but who cares?! Gender neutral, floors always cleaned, towels and toilet paper always available, toilets free of disgust... same with the gas pumps and market inside. It's because of THEIR faulty air pump I ended up with a FLAT TIRE. They turned me away and ignored my issue. I came on a Sunday to fill up my tire with some air. The air hose had a hole, which deflated my tire completely. When I went inside to inform them, a female cashier (probably in her 50s maybe middle-aged Hispanic or middle eastern) for assistance and before I finished my question, immediately she interrupted with "sorry we don't help with that we're not certified." I proceeded to ask if there was anyone else that can help look at the situation, or call someone that might know. I looked over at the other male cashier next to her, and he avoided eye contact with me completely. She continued to say "like I said we can help with gas but not the pump, sorry." Mind as well have said "good luck figuring out our property's issue." I'm appalled because of the lack of professionalism, let alone lack of compassion these employees had. The place is always clean and the cashiers are always very polite and helpful. They always seem to be stocking or cleaning if they are not helping customers. I think that the owner here must do a really good job of hiring because he or she manages to get employees who are courteous and respectful of the customers. I must be one of the few people that never seem to have an issue with out of order pumps at this gas station. Yes, the prices are generally a few cents higher then other gas stations but look at where it's located! That area of Irvine = high rent district. It's a gas station. It is located in the same plaza as the Jack in the Box and the Chipotle. It is on the same side of the plaza as the Jack in the Box, though. I put the credit card in the machine and filled the car with gas. It seemed to work properly. There weren't a lot of people here. I previously filled my tires with air here, but I didn't need to do that this time. I think it was free then, but that was a long time ago. read more

Let's start with the positives. Conveniently located at the corner of Irvine Boulevard and Culver in the Albertson's plaza. Well lit, generally clean, and pumps are plentiful. Fully stocked convenience store. The negatives. Gas prices are almost always a couple cents higher than at all nearby stations. Pumps are often out of service and, even more annoying, not marked as such. So you have to get back in your car, drive around to the next pump and start all over. In addition, on two occasions, the nozzle seemed to have shutoff but when I removed it from the tank, gas continued to flow out in a weak stream and I ended up with gas on my clothing and car. I really don't expect much from a gas station. But if I'm about to reluctantly part with $100 bucks, I'd like to make it snappy and uneventful. read more

This station is right near my work, and I use it all the time, but I hardly ever get gas here. They offer free air and I have a very slow leak in one of my tires so I really appreciate their generosity. I also think they have a good mini mart, and they are always running an energy drink promotion of some sort. I don't always drink them but it's nice to know it's there when I crave them. It is in Irvine though so the gas is uber expensive. This is why I don't get gas here unless absolutely necessary and then it's only just enough to get my to a more affordable station. read more

Dararda or whatever her name was. COMPLETELY DISCRIMINATED AGAINST ME. She asked for my ID for a tobacco product. Even though I look and I am also over thirty. I am of African American decent. There then was a man behind me who purchased alcohol from Caucasian decent. No I.d request was made. Then an Asian lady who looked 15 was also not asked. Although I am a regular consumer of this location I addressed this to the lady. I asked for management and she declined the information. Worst gas station ever! The clerk was so rude to my mother after he made a mistake and charged gas on the wrong pump. Someone drove off with gas my mother paid for because of him, and instead of accepting his mistake he has the audacity to tell her he didn't care. We had no refund for his mistake! If you live in this area, or traveling along Irvine Boulevard, this is a convenient spot. However, don't mistake convenient for better gas prices. Like many other reviews, I also find that in the morning one or more pumps are closed for maintenance of some type. Also be careful when pulling into the station. The surrounding parking for the retail center juts into this area - cars and always pulling into and out of parking spaces so this can be a tricky place. read more

Leaky pumps....shit costs enough as it is, poor service from station employee's, not even a clean up or apology.

Credit card readers are ALWAYS out at 75% of the pumps. It is frustrating because the station is in a convenient location. But worse, the service is bad. After you realize the credit card reader is out, you go inside and see a huge line, a single register open... and the owner/operator treats everybody horribly. I say "Fill up on #8 while giving him my credit card" and he says "No fill ups allowed. I must specify an exact amount". How can one know an exact amount? So I tell him $65.00 knowing that I will probably be about $55 so at least I can fill up. He tells me that they automatically refund anything over... but of course, who knows? Gotta go validate/confirm every time I fill up there to be sure. What should be a 5 minute pit stop turns out to be 15 minutes every time. I've moved over to the Chevron on Portola - 1 mile away. Always free pumps, new, clean, always functional. I get the 6 minute pit stop (extra minute to drive there) and leave happy. I'd advise everybody to avoid this station because you can be CERTAIN that the credit card reader is broken and there will be a huge line of people - just like you - waiting to pay manually inside. read more

Horrible services!!!!!If there's negative rating then that's what I'm giving for this location! 11/1/2019, around 10AM, I was trying to pump air into my tire without knowing the machine was not working and got a tire pressure down to 8 pounds! I tried to ask the employees to help and there are two female employees who don't even speak English! The male employee told me he's busy and let me wait. After a while the trash truck came and asked me to move my car. After I moved my car to a nearby parking space, the male employee came out with a "OUT OF SERVICE" red plastic sign and put it over the air machine. I asked him if the machine is broken then he said "yes". I told him that he should put the sign out first before anyone using it! He said I'm the first one using the machine and he cannot help me with anything. He doesn't even have the willingness to extend any thoughtfulness to help me solve my problem! I was so mad and disappointed at the customer service attitude Chevron employees provided. Pumps are ALWAYS out of service. I already gave them 15 tries and today was the end of my tolerance. I can walk to the station in 5 minutes and driving takes only a minute. But I refuse to waste my time any longer searching or waiting for a working pump at this station. From today on, I will fulfill all my gas needs at the Shell gas station 10 driving minutes away from my house. That gas station is clean, well organized, efficient, and well maintained. And I would encourage all of you to boycott the Chevron Gas at 3921 Irvine Blvd in Irvine. There is no reason to continue my patronage at this station to allow such poor service to exist. And I highly recommend the Shell gas station at 13131 Jamboree Rd in Tustin. read more
