Had a really poor experience with customer service here (as well as a malfunctioned car wash). I…read moreused their car wash using the Wash n Run subscription that Exxon has, and the machine didn't fully wash all the soap off my car. The dryer also stopped halfway and didn't totally dry my car (left half the car dry and half still wet). I went to tell them that the car wash didn't work very well and to ask if they could rinse the rest of the soap off. Instead of being polite, the cashier said I didn't have a transaction and didn't want to help me. I said I could show him the soap residing on the car and the app to prove that I did get a car wash, and he simply pointed to his computer and said it's not showing up. After asking if I could use a hose or something to rinse off the soap, he just kept pointing to his computer, not showing me the screen, and saying I didn't have a transaction. With my patience dissipated, I said, "I have to say that your customer service is not the best," and he replied, great, good bye. Hmmmm... Pretty dismayed with how the situation was dealt with (not to mention the soap drying on a half wet and half dry car). The self service gas area seems fine but I would stay clear of anything needing any customer service or their car wash.

One of the best things about them is that they have a fairly clean bathroom that's usually open, but lately it hasn't been open, and they've been locking it, and that wasn't for Coronavirus, only literally the last month, which is kind of annoying. Hopefully they'll fix that in the near future because to say I'm not a fan would be a massive understatement. They'd get 5 stars if the ban yo became available again.

I was not sure at first because there is a clear sign and I didn't believe my ear. The attendant confirmed that the engine was on but didn't do anything, shrugged and walked away. The driver behind me then started to harass me saying that this is not California (I'm Asian) and told me to mind my own business and continued belittling me. Hello???? He was endangering everyone with his engine on, WTFking stupid idiot! Costco, train your gas station attendant properly to handle this type of situation, please!!

Ran back out to my car real quick to lock it and when I came back inside there was no one there. I looked around and called out and nothing. Finally I went out to the other side of the station and see a woman tying up garbage. I said "Hey hun are you the only one here?" And she said "Yes. I'm the only one here" in a tone that clearly insinuated she was not ok with that. I said (tying to be polite and kind and understanding) "OK well I have a Gatorade in here I need to pay for when you're done." I walked back inside and pondered why she was tying up garbage when the store was still open and also of how easy it would be for someone to you know.... Take things. I would never do that. I'm quite the opposite. Quite paranoid about things getting stolen so it was a mystery to me how unsafe she was being. Anyway.... Not my circus not my elephant ya know? I waited, honestly, just too long. She was in no hurry to sell anything to me and I was just about to leave when she was walking in so I waited for her to get situated and then she looked at me and goes "Yeah?" And I was like...... "umm what?" With my big pink Gatorade sitting right between us. And she's goes "What did you want" with the same previous insinuation which now clearly said "fuck I don't want to be here, I don't care about this job and I don't like people." So I said "You know what..., Nevermind" and noped out of there real fast. Idk who's doing the hiring for this store but hard fail on this employee bruh. Try again.
