Now that I've been fully immersed in the Texas rat race that is buying gas, I choose to go with Costco because of the credit card rewards, quality fuel, and cheaper price tag. Located at one of the most cramped and busy Costcos in the city, sometimes it's more of an exercise in patience coming here than an easy fill-er-upper.
I'll start off with some good things, which is usually the price (fluctuates from 2.50 and 2.70 as of late). The machines themselves are a breeze, as I have yet to experience woes at any of the pumps.
The not so great parts are usually due to overcrowding. There are only two pumps for each section and people end up waiting longer than they often want. The attendants are a little slow to help and it generally seems understaffed given how many cars come through here.
Best thing to do would be to line up in for any pump regardless of what side it's on. Any Costco pump can reach any side of the car. Also consider coming here on weekday afternoons when it's less busy. It's not the best Costco gas station, but it will do for this part of the city. read more
