I was running low on gas and desperately needed a car wash after the accumulation of ash on the car. I was at the light and saw this Chevron and decided to fuel up and get a car wash. They offer Fast Pay which is contactless payment. They also had napkins which I grabbed to pick up the pump and fuel up. I used another napkin to press the pin pad and use my Safeway rewards (Gotta stay safe during this pandemic)! I got a good price per gallon after I entered my #. I added a car wash and immediately regretted it when I saw the line was about 8 cars long. While I waited I called the store to see if they were allowing customers to use their restroom. The cashier said yes and I went in (I've noticed many business don't allow customers in their restrooms and I get it it's a sanitation issue but I'm definitely going to stop at a place that will have access to restrooms. It's a basic need). I grabbed a quick snack w my kiddo and went back inside the car to wait. The wait to get the car wash was well over an hour. It took even longer when the car in front of me could not reverse back as he had gone too far forward to start the car wash. The driver refused to just pull out and a woman got out of the car inside the car wash and went to get help. After finally being able to reverse they completed their car wash and I was next after about 20 minutes. The wash did a good job washing and drying my car. I had 75 seconds to dry my car which was plenty of time. The car wash line was excruciating long. But it was a quality car wash so I would definitely do it again. Fueling up was fast and easy due to the contactless pay. Cashier inside was friendly. The inside had a lot of variety of snacks and drinks. Bathrooms are open for customers to use. read more

Only go if your car is 100% dust free. It doesn't clean. It left dirt on my trunk which I manually cleaned after the wash. It just pour some water and foam and then fast blowing water 2 times. I selected $15 wash but of no use. Please avoid going here and don't waste your time and money. Don't expect much. Disappointed!!!! read more

They closed the store at 10:55pm and didn't allow us to buy a CaLottery. But we found another place (7-11) which was open and the employee kindly helped us. This store must not close before 11pm because people might be walking 1.5 mile to buy a coffee or something else. read more

Went in for gas. They don't except 100 bills. Or 50s , although i do understand I could use a card. What's the point of running a gas station if you don't take cash. They give you rude looks like there something wrong with you. Badly ran business. Over prices snacks. They sure go the extra mile to be rude. lol. read more

This review is for the drive-through car wash. It is useless. The front of the car had some mud splashes. I didn't expect the wash to get it all off, but literally no stain was dissolved at all. Also, the dust and rain water stains. Absolute zero. It was bad enough that the credit card pay machine was broken that you had to pay inside, but the guy said the 2 cheapest washes were "out of order", whatever that means. So I got cheated into buying the more expensive wash, which washed literally nothing from the car. I'm quite sure the soap that was used had all the cleaning power of expired milk. Completely useless. See the pictures. read more

Terrible service experience from the employee over a Safeway reward of $.25 I feel I'm getting ripped off my discounts this has happened 5 times and I'm on the phone with manager Joshua and he stated there is nothing he can do to remedy his and my issue. This place is great for a drive through car wash. One of the best car washes I was seen in San Jose area for this price. I usually get the deluxe wash for $11. All the car washes are touch less. Try going early in the day or later in the night as this place gets really busy and you might have to wait in line for ~45-55mins. read more

Totally a scam! The owner is a liar and thinks their customers are fools. Whatever kind of wash you pay for, you will only get a little foam and a few drops of water. I paid $14 for the Works Plus wash. It turned out it was simply the $8 Express Wash with only foam and water drops. There were no wheel wash, no car bottom wash, no tri-color foam, no clear coat protectant, nor spot-free rinse! You only get foam and water drops. High-pressure washing? No way! Only water drops! Foam cannot be washed away, and residuals left on car body. There used to be a digital board to show which wash step is happening, like foam, clear coat, and rinse. Now they unplug the power of the board, so you won't know that some wash steps you pay for are skipped. How "smart" is the owner! Shame on them! read more

Great car wash/gas station! Words of advice: Don't enter your car wash code until the cars wash in front of you have started. Lots of codes stolen this way and you'll be forced to go around and get back in line if the cashier believes you. read more

$9 for express car wash. Got a code after paying with credit inside the store. The wait is about 20 min and although I didn't expect it to be super clean for an automatic wash, it didn't wash as clean as I hope it'd be. Bird poop and small branches were still stuck on the windows. It's more worth it if it's $6. read more

The drive-through car wash is totally useless! They used to be a decent car wash, but now it seems the equipments have been neglected or incorrectly configured. We paid $13 and only got 30 seconds of a splash of water and no soap. The water pressure was so low it literally did not wash off any dirt. I could have done a better job with my garden hose! read more

Looooong waits can be common at the car wash and it is $10 for the "works". Kind of expensive for a machine wash. Shoulda just gone to harvs or lozanos or something. TIL you are screwed when it comes to car washes in sunnyvale, no good deals. Does have a mini mart place with a bathroom so thats a plus I suppose. Gas is typical of most chevron, extra expensive. Car wash review only I liked the fact this car wash has air dryer and that's the only thing that serves its purpose. I tested all 3 levels of car wash types to ensure a fair review. I was hoping I could come here for the touch less car wash between full car wash. I have a black car and probably may never get another one due to its high maintenance although it's one of the colors that looks great. I can't take it to a car wash with anything less than lambs wool and air dryer so it doesn't scratch or create swirl marks on my car so I've been having to go to Details Plus ($35 each time with 30-40 min wait). I cannot recommend the car wash because after every level I tested it does not appear as if the car was washed. The dust and dirt film remain. If you don't own a black car you won't be able to tell. Please do not waste your money it honestly does not make a difference after the wash The only reason there is 2 stars is because I like the fact this gas station takes Apple Pay. read more

This review is for the touchless carwash available here. If you come on a weekend, expect to wait around 30mins. The kiosk often does not accept card payments so pay inside to be sure. I choose the express option at this wash and have not had any issues with it. For $8 most of the dirt is cleaned off of my SUV, though nooks and crannies will still have a bit left. I notice that the more expensive options, that put a coating of some kind on, often leave streaks so I stay away from those. I've never had a streak issue with the express wash here. Keep your expectations realistic and you'll likely be fine with the wash. read more

Paid for gas and a car wash, but when I punched in my code it kept saying invalid code. Pressed the help button, but no one responded. There were 6 cars behinds me, so I just payed for the car was again with my credit card hoping to get a refund. After a sub par car wash went inside and the guy said no refund because I punched in my code too soon...which made no sense there was already a car exiting the wash ahead of me. He did offer to give me a voucher for another wash which I did not accept. I'll dispute the charge with cc company. read more

Worst car wash ever. Paid 14$ for the best option and came out with bird poop still intact!!! They don't even have a pressurized water system. It's just like light rain on your car. What a waste of money! read more

I would give this place exactly 2.5 stars if I could. This is your typical no frills car wash that does the job, and at a reasonable price. Sure you could get the job done cheaper, but it would require some manual labor, which I'm not motivated to participate in. However, my biggest qualm about this place is that it is slooooooow. There were four cars ahead of me, and I'm fairly certain that I was there for an hour. Some other folks had mentioned this too, but I was too foolish to heed their warning. read more

***This Chevron is an okay but not great spot for a reasonably priced ($6) and quick car wash; the car wash is a little rundown though and some of the more drive thru car washes do a better job of getting your car clean; I did not get gas here*** This Chevron has a convenience store and there are a few free parking spaces available if you just need to pick up a snack or drink. read more

I don't know why people don't like this car wash. Prices range from $6 to $10 for a thorough touchless wash. It was definitely the fanciest gas station car wash I've used. There's a website next to the machine, and in case you are curious, they have this one http://www.markvii.net/AquaJet-XT-touchless-rollover.9181.0.html?&tx_jppageteaser_pi1%5BbackId%5D=9135 I am impressed because I just got back from a trip to Santa Barbara via the 101. I probably collected 10 lbs worth of bugs all over my car. I remember wondering whether this car wash would get them off, especially since it's touchless. I'm happy to report that all the bugs are gone, all the bird poop is gone and it even has wheel scrubbers for your rims (I guess technically it isn't touchless). Totally worth it. Quick and easy. read more

Came here for a car wash. Bought the code, waited on line for 45 minutes, typed the code in and the car wash didn't work. Had to rush to make an appointment so couldn't go in to get a refund. Came back 2 hours later and the cashier refused to give me a refund or another car wash. read more

I've driven by this gas station hundreds of times and didn't notice they had a touch-less car wash until last week. Washes start at $5 for a quick rinse to $9 for the deluxe with under-car wash + Rain-X. No discounts for filling up, unfortunately, but if you buy five, the sixth wash is free. The WORST CAR WASH I have ever had. Gas price is OKAY. I paid for a med-price car wash and I ended up washing my car again somewhere else. Only the roof of my car is cleaned. The front, side and back of my car were still dirty after the car wash. I mean, seriously, my car only had dust on it. I only went to the car wash because the light rain over the weekend made it looked dirty. There wasn't any mud or bird poop on my car. Honestly, it looks less dirty before it went into the carwash. I realized that the same thing happened to my friends when I mentioned it to them. I'm sure there is something wrong with the drive-in car wash. I hope they will get it fixed soon. But after this experience, I don't think I will ever go back again. read more

This is my go-to place for a car wash. The prices are reasonable, there usually isn't a line, it's always working (unlike many other Chevron car washes that will randomly have a "closed" sign in front of them), and it's not as invasive as the places that do it by hand. I've been here half a dozen times and satisfied every time. The car wash is effective and my car always comes out clean. The blow dryer works really well because it goes back and forth, not just blowing down, so that helps move the water off the car. I do always have to wipe down a few areas of the car to get rid of water that gets stuck in the doors and boot area, so that I don't get water spots, but that's to be expected. I'm not sure why there are negative reviews for the car wash--perhaps the reviewers chose a different wash cycle (I always get the middle level) or they aren't familiar with this style of car wash or it wasn't working properly, but I've never had any trouble with this car wash, and I use it regularly. I've found this to be one of the more dependable touchless car washes near me. Also the shop is clean on the inside and customer service is prompt. read more

Super Clean, Pretty good price, and I know they use REAL Chevron GAS!

Like some others, I found the car wash to be just okay. It is indeed a fancy touchless machine, but it's a bit slow since the machine has to move back and forth over the car. I had about 4 cars in front of me and it took about half an hour until it was my turn. It doesn't help that they tell you not to start your transaction until the car in front is done washing. I've had much faster service and cleaner results at a standard machine wash. The blow dryer gives you about 1.5 minutes to sit there while it dries your car and the car behind you gets washed simultaneously. Prices are $7, 9, and 11, and the machine accept credit cards. Receipts didn't print when I was there. My car came out cleanER, but I think it wasn't as clean as a standard "touch" machine wash. read more

Decent car wash for the price, but holy cow the line is always 5 or 6 cars deep. If you can wait, probably worth it.

Gas price is generally higher than other brands and stations by 20-50 cents per gallon. But you can get gas rebates by shopping at Safeway. And I personally feel the gas quality is much better which enables my sports sedan to run faster and more smoothly! Another reason to visit this station every other week is for automated car wash, every 5 paid for 1 FREE wash. The price is $6, $8 & $10 from basic to premium wash. The outcome is satisfactory and efficient! I always have to queue up for car wash which suggests how good the business is there. That I didn't give 5 star is due to the gas price. :p read more

Nice big gas station. There are a variety of entrances and exits into the station. They also have a drive thru car wash.

I haven't gone inside. I just need gas like sometime before 5am. The kid in the morning is awesome and hard worker that I see. One time he wasn't there and it was some girl maybe relative not sure. But the pumps werent even working yet. All she says is "pumps aren't working" And it was almost 5. Like are u kidding me! I need gas and your freaken barely coming in to start your opening shift. Ya I know you don't freaken open till 5 but like my dad always said "be at work 30min to 1 hr early" The kid doesn't open till 5 but at least he is awesome to turn on the pumps before 5 when people need gas. He's kind enough to turn them on before 5am. I appreciate it a lot. read more
