I was running low on gas and desperately needed a car wash after the accumulation of ash on the car. I was at the light and saw this Chevron and decided to fuel up and get a car wash. They offer Fast Pay which is contactless payment. They also had napkins which I grabbed to pick up the pump and fuel up. I used another napkin to press the pin pad and use my Safeway rewards (Gotta stay safe during this pandemic)! I got a good price per gallon after I entered my #. I added a car wash and immediately regretted it when I saw the line was about 8 cars long. While I waited I called the store to see if they were allowing customers to use their restroom. The cashier said yes and I went in (I've noticed many business don't allow customers in their restrooms and I get it it's a sanitation issue but I'm definitely going to stop at a place that will have access to restrooms. It's a basic need). I grabbed a quick snack w my kiddo and went back inside the car to wait. The wait to get the car wash was well over an hour. It took even longer when the car in front of me could not reverse back as he had gone too far forward to start the car wash. The driver refused to just pull out and a woman got out of the car inside the car wash and went to get help. After finally being able to reverse they completed their car wash and I was next after about 20 minutes. The wash did a good job washing and drying my car. I had 75 seconds to dry my car which was plenty of time. The car wash line was excruciating long. But it was a quality car wash so I would definitely do it again. Fueling up was fast and easy due to the contactless pay. Cashier inside was friendly. The inside had a lot of variety of snacks and drinks. Bathrooms are open for customers to use. read more

Only go if your car is 100% dust free. It doesn't clean. It left dirt on my trunk which I manually cleaned after the wash. It just pour some water and foam and then fast blowing water 2 times. I selected $15 wash but of no use. Please avoid going here and don't waste your time and money. Don't expect much. Disappointed!!!! read more

This review is for the drive-through car wash. It is useless. The front of the car had some mud splashes. I didn't expect the wash to get it all off, but literally no stain was dissolved at all. Also, the dust and rain water stains. Absolute zero. It was bad enough that the credit card pay machine was broken that you had to pay inside, but the guy said the 2 cheapest washes were "out of order", whatever that means. So I got cheated into buying the more expensive wash, which washed literally nothing from the car. I'm quite sure the soap that was used had all the cleaning power of expired milk. Totally a scam! The owner is a liar and thinks their customers are fools. Whatever kind of wash you pay for, you will only get a little foam and a few drops of water. I paid $14 for the Works Plus wash. It turned out it was simply the $8 Express Wash with only foam and water drops. There were no wheel wash, no car bottom wash, no tri-color foam, no clear coat protectant, nor spot-free rinse! You only get foam and water drops. High-pressure washing? No way! Only water drops! Foam cannot be washed away, and residuals left on car body. There used to be a digital board to show which wash step is happening, like foam, clear coat, and rinse. Now they unplug the power of the board, so you won't know that some wash steps you pay for are skipped. How "smart" is the owner! Shame on them! read more

This place is great for a drive through car wash. One of the best car washes I was seen in San Jose area for this price. I usually get the deluxe wash for $11. All the car washes are touch less. Try going early in the day or later in the night as this place gets really busy and you might have to wait in line for ~45-55mins. read more

The drive-through car wash is totally useless! They used to be a decent car wash, but now it seems the equipments have been neglected or incorrectly configured. We paid $13 and only got 30 seconds of a splash of water and no soap. The water pressure was so low it literally did not wash off any dirt. Car wash review only I liked the fact this car wash has air dryer and that's the only thing that serves its purpose. I tested all 3 levels of car wash types to ensure a fair review. I was hoping I could come here for the touch less car wash between full car wash. I have a black car and probably may never get another one due to its high maintenance although it's one of the colors that looks great. I can't take it to a car wash with anything less than lambs wool and air dryer so it doesn't scratch or create swirl marks on my car so I've been having to go to Details Plus ($35 each time with 30-40 min wait). I cannot recommend the car wash because after every level I tested it does not appear as if the car was washed. The dust and dirt film remain. If you don't own a black car you won't be able to tell. The WORST CAR WASH I have ever had. Gas price is OKAY. I paid for a med-price car wash and I ended up washing my car again somewhere else. Only the roof of my car is cleaned. The front, side and back of my car were still dirty after the car wash. I mean, seriously, my car only had dust on it. I only went to the car wash because the light rain over the weekend made it looked dirty. There wasn't any mud or bird poop on my car. Honestly, it looks less dirty before it went into the carwash. I realized that the same thing happened to my friends when I mentioned it to them. I'm sure there is something wrong with the drive-in car wash. I hope they will get it fixed soon. This is my go-to place for a car wash. The prices are reasonable, there usually isn't a line, it's always working (unlike many other Chevron car washes that will randomly have a "closed" sign in front of them), and it's not as invasive as the places that do it by hand. I've been here half a dozen times and satisfied every time. The car wash is effective and my car always comes out clean. The blow dryer works really well because it goes back and forth, not just blowing down, so that helps move the water off the car. I do always have to wipe down a few areas of the car to get rid of water that gets stuck in the doors and boot area, so that I don't get water spots, but that's to be expected. I'm not sure why there are negative reviews for the car wash--perhaps the reviewers chose a different wash cycle (I always get the middle level) or they aren't familiar with this style of car wash or it wasn't working properly, but I've never had any trouble with this car wash, and I use it regularly. I've found this to be one of the more dependable touchless car washes near me. Also the shop is clean on the inside and customer service is prompt. read more

Like some others, I found the car wash to be just okay. It is indeed a fancy touchless machine, but it's a bit slow since the machine has to move back and forth over the car. I had about 4 cars in front of me and it took about half an hour until it was my turn. It doesn't help that they tell you not to start your transaction until the car in front is done washing. I've had much faster service and cleaner results at a standard machine wash. The blow dryer gives you about 1.5 minutes to sit there while it dries your car and the car behind you gets washed simultaneously. Prices are $7, 9, and 11, and the machine accept credit cards. Gas price is generally higher than other brands and stations by 20-50 cents per gallon. But you can get gas rebates by shopping at Safeway. And I personally feel the gas quality is much better which enables my sports sedan to run faster and more smoothly! Another reason to visit this station every other week is for automated car wash, every 5 paid for 1 FREE wash. The price is $6, $8 & $10 from basic to premium wash. Fine, I'll hit the help button for some assistance. I hit it again, again, and again. I try my code several times, to no avail. Sure, there's a line building, I'll go through and talk to the cashier.
