I can't speak on the gas prices, because I don't come here to get gas. But as for the pumps themselves, they look clean and easy to use. Major pro, because sometimes that's not the case. As for the minit mart, man oh man is it one of my favorites. It always has a selection of beverages I'm looking for...and often has new varieties available a few days or even a week, before release. Prices aren't terrible either. It's a relatively clean minit mart too. Also relatively spacious, and I'm drawing a blank...but there's diner tables I think? I'm 99% certain. As for the non-beverage selection, always stellar too. ON TOP OF the hot food at the register. I live in an unusual setting, we have a whole three-story building to ourselves. There's a minit mart across the street...no hot food. This place satisfies that urge. Now for the main event: the chicken on top of the building. I call this "the chicken store" and my FRIENDS know where I mean. This IS the chicken store. I always saw that chicken as a very young child, and wanted to go there. As for employees, you know I've never seen the same worker twice. I've never had any problems, though. I just can't name a particularly outstanding person. Overall, this checks every box. Clean gas station, clean minit mart with good selection, and a chicken on the roof...maybe that last box doesn't need to be checked everywhere. I can't recommend this place enough!

I asked for the larger of the two. A lady cashier steps in and says I got this. She then grabs a different type of burrito and I said excuse me, are you sure that's the right kind? She gets snippy and says he wanted beef and bean and now he wants bean and cheese. I said no, I asked for the larger of the bean and cheese. The guy says oh you said beef and bean, so now I have two employees acting short with me, over their misunderstandings. The lady acts like a big deal to switch burritos and then after she does, I check the bag, it's the tiny one, but yet it's full price. I said I wanted the regular size one, and started getting more attitude, so I said screw it, paid, and left. So anyway, if you stop here, be prepared for rudeness and to be charge $1.39 for a toddler sized burrito. I'll be sure to hit any other gas station from now on.

Just pulling in you immediately notice how much space there is in the parking lot and how many parking spots there are! Then you notice that the building actually looks PHENOMENAL! To me I feel like I'm going to like a Chevron mansion! Once you get inside you're shocked at how much space there is and how clean it is! Tons of stuff on the shelves and in the fridges! Great selection is important to me because I collect Mountain Dew! It's also connected to the Indy Way Diner which is also a great diner! (I think I've been 1 time and didn't hate it so I can't really say that my opinion is for sure accurate or not lol!) It has a gas station outside, of course. It's exactly what you'd expect, all hours of the day. No issues there. Same lower than average prices. I've got no problems with their gas. But, if you pay with cash, beware of the inside. Unfortunately, I've come here semi-regularly for the last few years. I'd still come at least a couple times a year, before I moved to living closer to it in 2020. I can confidently say, I've never seen this location hire a good cashier. Most don't enjoy their job. Or they'll do a bad job, amongst all other critiques people have for employees. I once witnessed a very personal argument between two employees, because they were yelling at each other as loud as they possibly could. It's really a night and day difference from the Kelso location, which holds their employees better and hires better ones too. It's got a terrible ambiance because of that, and because of the customers who roll in. You're gonna see the usual odd customers of Longview, to put it kindly. It's also just a dirtier feeling store overall, especially when compared to Kelso. However I will say, they seem to keep their stocking situation in a good place. You may not find hot food, which is unfortunately generally the case with most ampm's the past few years, but otherwise this should have what you expect from ampm. Here's a way to describe it: if they had a good cashier, then it'd probably be a pretty good location. You see odd people all around town, so that's not make or break for me. I've unfortunately never managed to purchase any hot food at this establishment, they're always out. If it's anything like other ampm's, it's pretty tasty, affordable and very hot. Is there anything else to say? I guess I could include that I overall love "ampm" and will have no problem stopping by here. The employees being bad aren't exactly an uncommon thing in town. Overall, this establishment is a bit more suspect than you'd expect considering its location. It keeps things in stock, has a good gas station, and shouldn't be too deterring to locals. Visitors might be a different story, because employees can't be kept, and aren't good enough to necessarily be sad about that. My actual rating would be 5/10, but considering Yelp is five stars and not ten stars, I'll round down to two stars since I overall don't love the establishment.

The store is consistently, bright, clean and well organized. They offer fresh produce, meats, cheese, bread and dairy products. Their frozen food cases are well stocked well. Their cleaning supplies and dry goods are plentiful. This particular US Foods CHEF'STORE has wonderfully helpful and friendly employees. You do not need to own a restaurant or be a chef to shop at this fine establishment.

Let's start with product selection. It's still about the same as always. However, prices have seriously increased. I felt at the previous establishment, it was more like Costco. Buying in bulk to get a better price. Now? It feels like it's only a bulk option, not better prices. However, not worse prices either, so that's saying something. It doesn't have the best atmosphere, but it's not a store I need great atmosphere from. It's not a bad atmosphere either, which is good. It won't deter you from doing your shopping as long as necessary. As for the customer service, it's also about as expected. Maybe slightly above average, but that'd be personal preference at most. Overall, "Chef's Store" doesn't hold a candle to Cash & Carry. If you're looking for what this store provides, it should do it with flying colors. Especially for restaurants, its main customers.
