Terrible in every way. Pumps do t work, vac doesn't work, owner unfriendly. Waste of time and money

Higher pump prices than most others. Always one gas pump and sometimes more are unusable, sometimes not with warnings on them. Handles on pumps are wonky as they are often slow, or stop-and-start, or physically strenous on the hands. I have got to plan ahead to go to other stations of this brand. read more

Gas prices are a bit pricey. The services is very friendly and genuine. It's nice to see the car wash back up and running again! For a gas station it's a pretty cool place! read more

This is a brand new gas station located in La Costa...with prices to match! You know La Costa...! With that said, it's convenient and very clean. I'll be back if I can't make it home without filling up, but it's not my first choice of gas stations. read more

Car wash didn't start we waited 30 minutes not a good car wash not good don't recommend for other people

This is the worst car wash I have ever had !!!! Period !!!! Ever !!!! I swear the car was dirtier after the wash than before. After the recent rain there were mud splatters on the side AND THEY ARE STILL THERE. The rest of the car was still dirty - it is the last $12 car wash - misnamed "THE WORKS" they are ever going to get from me. Our neighbor's two year old with a bucket and sponge would have done a better job. The only reason I'm giving this a one star is that there isn't the options of giving it a zero stars. Avoid at all costs. Only thing worse than paying for overpriced gas and sugar drinks is crap service. Guy told me to get gas on pump 3 (Only reason I went in is the pump I drove up to was out of service but had nothing saying out of service). When I went to pump 3 someone was already pumping gas. When I went back in to explain he said I was too slow and that he "closed" card. Only problem is he never voided the transaction or refunded my money. He claims he did but my credit card bill says differently. Also for years they made it difficult to put in your Vons number to lower gas price. If you are interested in paying extra for crap service then this is your place. read more

Got gas here, fine, no problem, but oh my goodness, the car wash was a complete waste of $10! This was the worst car wash I've EVER gotten. My car came out dusty and covered in bird poop! I don't think the brushed actually even focused the top of my car. I wish I would have read the reviews before. They should be ashamed of themselves for robbing people of their money. This is a brand spanking new Chevron located in the newly done La Costa Town Center. There's really nothing spectacular about this place aside from the fact that it filled the gas station gap that spanned the La Costa area to San Marcos. The station itself is clean, well maintained and the service is friendly. Overall, not a bad spot to get gas but the prices will likely be a bit higher than neighboring stations. read more

Finally a gas station located off of Rancho Santa Fe Rd. and La Costa Ave. We've needed a gas station in this area since the nearest one was either in Encinitas or San Marcos. The inside of the market is really nice as are the employees. I rarely enter a market at a gas station but on a couple occasions I have had to buy a bottle of water before heading to the gym or the pump wasn't registering my payment outside. I like that you can earn points with your Vons Club Card to be redeemed for 20 cents/gal off of the regular price. If I am in dire need of gas or lower than a 1/4 tank I will pop in here. Its never too busy to get a tank of gas and be on my way. FYI There is a car wash too. read more

The lady that was working there was very rude, and unprofessional...it's 12pm there's no hot dogs ready and I tried to pay for my 2 drinks and asked for the rest of $40 and couldn't do the simple math and ended up overcharging and was still rude and had a nasty attitude after. I stopped in this morning at about 7:45 to get gas and a quick cup of coffee. I was in a funk after a not-so-great evening and was warmly greeted by the gentleman attending the coffee area. He was also the person who helped me at the checkout. I can't get over how personable he was. You never know what kind of morning/day someone is having and he truly helped turn mine around. Purchased works car wash. Didn't dry in the slightest. Water marks over entire car, even after hand drying for 20 minutes. I've always enjoyed the folks that work inside. Friendly. And I can get past the overpriced gas given the location. But the car wash works every other week, requires you to purchase at pump or inside. Takes twice as long as the nearby drive thru car washes. Car wash takes at least 10 minutes per car. DO NOT USE IF YOU HAVE SOMEWHERE TO BE. It's also pretty pricy starting at $8.00 for basic wash, you can go down the street for full service wash with vacuum at $12.00. Not impressed. Do not get your car washed here! It caused damage to the hood of my car. When I told the gas station attendant he told me it wasn't the car wash, because the car wash was brand new (even though I felt it, heard it, and there is a new groove in my car hood immediately after the wash). After talking with my husband & getting a quote for repair ($200), I went back in to try to talk to someone else. Again- I was met with annoyance, but this time a general complaint form was filled out & pictures of my car were taken. The next day, I was called & told that the wash was inspected & someone washed their car multiple times in a row & had no issues. When I asked them if they had looked at the camera footage for my vehicle before & after the wash, like they said they were going to do, they said no and that it probably wouldn't make a difference because the wash is new & doesn't cause damage to cars. I am very frustrated that I paid for a service, & now it's going to cost me time & money. read more

I have the worst luck at this station. The pumps always shut off before your tank is full. First you have to answer four questions to just get gas then you have to deal with the pump shutting off multiple times. read more

Had dinner in this shopping center and decided to get a car wash. I pulled up to the pump so that I could pump a small amount of gas and purchase the car wash without having to go inside. It was a hot day and I didn't want to have to take my baby in, or leave her in the car while I went inside. After purchasing the gas, the pump says I have to go inside for the receipt which has the car wash code. GREAT! That was exactly what I was trying to avoid. I go inside to get my receipt as quickly as possible. Get in my car and drive to car wash line. There are now 5 cars in front of me, and when I first arrived, there were none. I look at my receipt for my code, and discovered that the moron gave me the wrong receipt. I had to back out and go back in to the store. Takes a while to get my receipt because now several people have used that pump since me. Now there are even more people in line. I'm still waiting. Complete and utter incompetence. I've been in the car wash line FOREEEVER. Wrote this review while sitting here steaming. read more

Just stopped in to wash my car after the gym. I paid & entered the car wash and the car wash didn't work. I then went inside for help and explained to the manager the issue I had and he RUDELY said, " what did I tell you last time!" I said sir, what are talking about I've never been here before. My son and his friend went through the cash war there and something caught on the small factory spoiler on the back of the car and cracked it. The manager of the station was not there and my son had to go to the station at 6:00 before work to speak with him. He told him he would review camera footage but he doubted that it the car wash was to blame for the damage to the car. Basically calling my son a liar! I go to this place everyday. All I know is this corporate owned place WASTES WATER!! First, the natural area behind the place was washed out from them over watering and erosion. (they had sprinklers running during the heavy rains of 2016! Then they had to build a huge $1,000,000 retaining wall. Then today I saw a huge water leak near parking lot in the morning. I reported it then it was still gushing at 2pm!!?? I always see a pipe leaking near thier front sign also.! To make landscape matters worse, the nice Sycamore trees were mutilated by some hacks from Los angeles last year also. The everyday personaell are pretty good though. Prices are not good. read more
