Wow! All the negative reviews. I was going to call but it looks like management/owners just don't care! Holy moly, I tried to get a car wash and the code didn't work. Went inside and the older African American lady was literally the rudest person I've encountered in a long time. At the end of her diatribe she yelled "have a great effing day" (except she screamed the real word). I actually bought the car wash twice and it never worked. chevron on Bee Cave Rd. I got an express car wasj for $9.99. it did not include air blowing to dry the car as you exit. When I went to tell the cashier she was well aware and EXTREMELY RUDE. She said, "what did you purchase ? that does not come with air". Momd you it does not indicate that anywhere as only part of an upgrade to express. I replied that I would have water spots and she said " well that's what you paid for, soap and water " I will never buy gas or a car wash or anything here again. I agree with most of these negative reviews. The older Hispanic woman at the cash register is just flat out rude. When i asked to borrow a pressure gauge while I was filling up with their gas which costs $0.50 more per gallon, they wanted me to leave my watch to make sure i would bring the pressure gauge back. I am a 72 year old man driving a Lexus. Does it look like i need a pressure gauge. Went down to Breed and Company and bought one for what i saved when i stopped filling up. I used to almost exclusively go to this Chevron for gas and get state inspection. Around mid-late May, I was treated rudely enough to never return. I was on a work phone call with my phone to my ear. I wasn't paying attention closely and was waiting at the coke machine while a couple people were standing there talking. Then they noticed me and I noticed that it was two of the employees who weren't getting coke, just hanging out talking. The woman employee looked at me and said "Excuse me is the word" and walked away. I was still on the phone but couldn't believe she just said that. So I stared at her for a moment. She came back and said. "Yeah, I was talking to you." and then laughed and went back to her conversation with the other employee. Needless to say, I'm sad to see this gas station go downhill. I have had my state inspections done here for years, but today the Chevron manager was the rudest person I have ever encountered in a gas station. I was not aware that the inspections are done by a separate company. The manager dismissively said "we don't do those", and not until I asked what I needed to do, she said "do you want me to call someone ?" Unbelievably bad customer experience. read more

Incredibly rude employees!! went in for a state inspection. Had stopped there one week prior and was told their state inspection machine was broken. CALLED today to ask if the machine was fixed and was reprimanded by the first person who answered the phone . . . "you didn't follow the prompts. Call back and follow the prompts". when I told the woman I HAD followed the prompts, she said, "no you didn't! Call back and follow the prompts." and then she hung up on me! No other instruction given. Drove to the station. talked with a different, EXTREMELY rude person and paid for my inspection. THEN, the woman I talked to on the phone said to the second EXTREMELY rude co-worker, "that woman who called a minute ago was stupid." Couldn't help myself and said, "ma'am, that was me and you were so rude and unhelpful over the phone. I have been to both Chevrons on Bee Caves road. the one closer to Cuernavaca is questionable. a lot of the pumps are un-operational. And the help are surly. Asked her how long it would be and she said "I don't know" and snacked her gum. Clearly she was finished discussing it, and couldn't be bothered. I stated I didn't want one if "she didn't know". I got a car wash here; first it was low quality but that's beside the point given it's not expensive On the way out of the wash something sticking out ripped the front panel off my car. I showed it to the service group who said I should talk to the cashier who acted like it didn't happen and actually laughed about it. And then she took a picture of the front of my car presumably preserving their responsibility. I will get it put it back on by the dealer since I don't trust them and I'll send them the bill which I doubt they will pay. Anyway... Don't use their car wash for sure and I'll never go back to use anything there including repair or gas. read more

I have been to this location many times and interacted with all functions and numerous employees in those functions (cashier, shop, car wash, etc..). Unfortunately, there isn't a single person in this establishment including the shop supervisor, the general manager, etc.. that is courteous, respectful, customer service oriented, that appears to care about their customers, etc.... This is based on The Car Inspection People. I've had to go here for two different cars on two different occasions. Both times I was pleased with my service. First time, I had my outdated insurance card and I was able to get a fax from my insurance company. The wait was a short one to get the inspection done. Second time, I had to wait a bit longer, but that's only because there were a few people ahead of me. It was one of those sunny days in January, so it was no problem waiting outside in the sun. The woman behind the counter was very nice and personable. And I got to drink a very cold Coke Zero while I waited. It was very easy to get my inspections done here. I'm willing to bet I'll be back 11 months from now. read more

So I've never had any real issues getting gas here, though their prices aren't usually great. My issue is with their car wash. It's comically bad. The first time I used it, my windows came out so dirty that I had to stop at the pumps are wash them again with the little squeegee thing just so I could see well out of them. And believe me, I am not a picky person when it come to having a super clean car. I figured that may have been a fluke, so I tried again a couple months later...similar result. This is for the gas station/convenience part. I have been a regular customer since April when I moved to this part of town. This morning, the attendant was incredibly rude. I was having trouble with the keypad on the pump. After trying several times, I went in and politely asked for help. The lady, whose name I didn't catch, told me I was obviously doing it wrong because it worked for everyone else. Not only were the words she used rude, but her tone was insulting. She was visibly annoyed with having to help me. Instead of just running my card inside and starting the pump from there, she decided to walk outside while still berating me,. I told her I would just go buy gas somewhere else and she said "FINE". I put my gas cap on and left. Her attitude was appalling. I will be driving the extra 500 yards to the Shell station from now on. They are happy to take my $60 per tank, three times a week. read more

The gas is a bit pricier than you'll find on Lamar south of Barton Springs Rd. However, the auto repair people here are really helpful; they do required state inspections, have a full mechanic with several bays, and they will fix a nail hole in your tire while you wait. The "Laser Wash" car wash in back is a fun treat for the kids, if a little bit less thorough than Genie down Lamar. Every time I make a pit stop @ the chevron store that Natalia girl ALWAYS has a pretty smile on her face she is very welcoming, friendly and fast paced!!! Alot better of an Attitude then the old lady with glasses, she is very rude i think sometimes she might need a big hug. There are no signs indicating where the car wash is. There is always a line for the car wash (2-3 cars always) and the smell while you are waiting is AWFUL. It looks like there is a creek directly behind the building so I'm sure it has to do with that and the run off from the creek, but is seriously the most awful smell, exactly like driving right past a landfill with your windows down and AC blowing. My experience here over the years has been way different from the one star reviews (two of which have like the exact same wording...). Anyway, I go here every year for my inspections, everyone has always been super polite, my car always passes, and one time there was some tiny thing wrong and they told me they fixed it and just as I thought, hey they fixed it w/o asking me what's this gonna cost, I realized that they just fixed it for free. Prices on gas are better than on the east side where I live and the air for your tires is free as opposed to $1 that gets you enough air to do 2.5 tires. That's why I go to this location. DON'T SURE THEIR CAR WASH. I took my pickup (standard cab, Chevy 1500) to their carwash and did not realize until the was started that they had a completely new system. It is no longer "touches" but now uses large twin whirling cylinders of some sort of material, on each side and top. It was so rough that it rocked the entire truck. And it didn't do that good of job cleaning it. The next morning, I realize the 3x4" bracket that covered the attachment hardware of the driver's side mirror was missing. I had folded in both mirrors print to the wash. When I called to ask it they had found the torn off piece, I was informed that yes, they had found it, threw it in their dumpster and the dumpster had been emptied earlier that day. Unbelievable. They didn't express a bit of concern or regret. I'd used their car wash for two other vehicles with their previous system and never had a problem. read more

Avoid Broaddus Chevron on Bee Cave. My car inspection failed because my car's battery had recently been disconnected for service. They told me i should drive the car about 200 miles and bring it back for inspection and there would not be another inspection charge. When i brought it back they charged me again because more than 15 days had elapsed. They never told me there was a date limitation. I'm a student, I don't drive much. Then they told me my gas cap was failing; I know other women they have pulled this on. My gas cap was fine. The hispanic woman at the front desk was very rude to me. When I called to complain and said I will never go back for gas, or have car work of any kind the chevron general manager just said ok...and hung up. I have come here for multiple things over the 16 years that I have lived in the area. Consistency is the recipe here . Consistency in that the same people have worked here for the longest time, consistency in the good way customers are treated , the availability to speak with a mechanic on duty and, of course ,the no charge water and air. This is similar to the old days when all these services and amenities were always provided. Sadly the smart phone, no conversation only texting, generation is satisfied with the no character places to do business. For me , I'll take service and amenities at this place any day over a faceless gas station. I literally have never had as bad of customer service in all of my life. The old woman behind the counter is the rudest person I have ever met. I was so shocked at her reaction when I tried to open the door to the store and it was locked, and she walking right behind me and instead of saying "wait, let me unlock the door for you" she watched me struggle and attempt to open it and I said in a very nice happy/polite tone "is it locked?", thinking she would have told me before if it wasn't so it must be stuck. And she literally had the rudest reaction and rolled her eyes and I responded with, " I was just asking..." and then She just kept going on a rude rant and I was not rude at all. I was just shocked and extremely offended. Then someone went to get coffee and she said "oh don't drink no coffee" and paused and said "there's nothing but bleach in there". Ummm put a sign over it because someone could accidentally drink bleach when you're not paying attention. i keep coming here because it is convenient. someone needs to give the sales clerk a lesson in customer service. I have gotten to know her schedule and try to avoid her like the plague! Why can't she just be a little nice? i was getting gas on Saturday morning and I messed up at the gas pump and tore off my car wash code. so I had to go inside and request assistance. First she admonished me for messing up, then she asked me my last 4 digits of my cc. I did not have my wallet with me so I hesitated and she rolled her eyes and raised her voice and asked me again. She printed out a code for me and when I got up to the car wash the code was invalid. So I had to go back in and she---Not kidding here--she yelled at me?! I had to ask her to calm down. What is the big deal as it was just a cheap car wash--was not like i was asking her to give me ten gallons of free gas. i had my receipt from the gas pump--showing i paid for a car wash! she needs to be canned! not the first or even the second time i have had problems with her. read more
