After a couple of months trying to get gasoline from the new way at Murphy's before going in to get my groceries, I decided to call my eldest daughter in Marietta, Georgia. Yes, I called my debit card carrier. Convinced me it was not my card, that it was the gas station. So, I called my eldest in Georgia. She told me I had to be a member of the new Murphy's or push "skip" before using my card. Amazing how simple it was to get 29.97 worth of gasoline. I has been to two other gasoline stations, to no avail...Finally, no gas station in my community would accept my card. I did not want to go inside, leave cash or card to get gas, then a trip back to get my change or my card. I now I can as I did for years, about 12 years, fill up my tank and then go into WalMart for my meds, or my groceries. Yeah for the "skip" on the keypad at Murphys. Thank you, Georgia for using Murphys there and knowing how to advise your 82 year old Mom as to how to "skip" the button and put in my debit card. When I was is the 8th grade in Dallas, Texas, around 1952, my Social Studies teacher told the class, that in the year 2000, we would no longer use cash, that we would have a little card to show to purchase whatever we needed. Completely out!! Under E! Light on!! I looked and none had leaked on the concrete. I went and asked about it and they said they don't check gas for inspections so I asked why it was like that and they said they did not know and smirked. They mentioned maybe my odometer and I got it checked and it was not my odometer! They gave me some gas(which I think was bad gas btw) and it was maybe 3 inches of gas in a hand held gas tank. Then they just said to leave they can't do anything. I barely made it to the gas station! I think they might have done this to someone else too who I saw come back 5-10 min after their inspection. Overall very angry and disappointed! There is no way they did not steal my gas! My tank is fine and so is my odometer, I had gas when I got there and not when I left. I even got an oil change and they saw nothing wrong!

I waited in line for over 45 minutes behind two other cars for me to allow them under my hood, unscrewing my filter, giving them my information and mileage, all for them to tell me they don't have my filter. Confused at them pretty much telling me too bad you waited but you need to leave, I asked them if they would help me find another close by Take 5 that did in fact have my filter. The younger black fella was clearly irritated I asked and told me I have a phone and can call myself. When I told him I don't know what to ask for he said even if he did call himself that I'd get an off-site customer service agent that wouldn't be able to confirm what was actually in-store. Truly, he was so unpleasant I held up his line pleading with to help me. After a good 10 minute back and forth, the younger Hispanic fella came over and offered to call an employee from the other location because the phone numbers aren't direct to the store. Before doing so, guess what he did? He actually did the other fellas job and searched high-and-low which resulted in finding the filter for my car! Can you believe it? Crazy what happens when you try. Well, while the helpful fella was looking for my filter the unhelpful fella decided it best to walk past my car a few times mumbling "f****g b***h* just loud enough for me to hear him calling me awful names because I asked him to be of assistance. Wildly enough, I deleted my first review because I've been there. Working a demanding job where you're expected to maintain a crystallized smile when you're drained in all ways possible. So I decided to try and reason with him before I pulled away. I asked him if he was still mad at me and if I could have a moment more of his time. He said "nah" and looked away. I won't be back to this location. I hope management reviews this and addresses the service I received.
