An employee named Aliya was incredibly kind, professional, and conducted a great interview. I was hired the next day and told to wait for my schedule. However, the process fell apart due to the management. When I returned on December 23, I was immediately asked by staff if I spoke Spanish. When I said no, the atmosphere changed. The manager, Nutiva, has been incredibly rude and is now blocking my employment over a redundancy in banking paperwork, despite me already providing my direct deposit information. It appears this location prefers a specific demographic. During my visits, I noticed the staff is entirely Hispanic, and after being asked about my Spanish speaking abilities, I feel I am being pushed out based on my background rather than my ability to cook. When I asked for the owner (Jordan's) contact info to resolve this, Nutiva refused to give it to me, claiming he wouldn't care. If you are not part of the specific demographic this manager is looking for, do not waste your time applying here.
