My go to is the fried gizzards, this is the only place that I know I can get them without having to cook them for myself. And they're GOOD! Same with the okra - they usually have to cook it fresh. They made the catfish fresh when I ordered today, too. The chicken and fries were good to the rest of my family as they normally are, too. I don't ever go inside so I'm not sure about the ambiance, but everyone that has ever served me at the window had been nice, and so have the people who bring my food to me once it's done (because I always have to pull forward and wait during to the gizzards and okra needing to be cooked after I order them).

When I went up to the window and got my drink something told me to try the drink and so I did. It was root beer, my most disliked drink. Yuck! I was able to tell them and they gave a me dr pepper. I left the drive through and drove off. I was at a light and I also decided to check my food, unfortunately I was missing my side of canes sauce. I was close so I turned around. They were able to give me the cane sauce that was missing. Everything was perfect until after taking a bite I noticed the lettuce in my sandwich looked darker than usual and a bit soggy. I understand the canes sauce can make it soggy but the lettuce itself didnt look appetizing. The fries and the chicken inside were delicious though. Not the best experience but not the worst but its not the quality you expect from canes.
