Typical service for a small town. Came here on a Sunday not very busy. Waited over 20 minutes for our drinks that are non alcoholic. Took our order an appetizer and a 20 piece wing. An hour later still no food or server. I flagged down another server and asked for my bill. My original server same back and said it'll all be out in 2 minutes. Last I checked and appetizer comes out before the meal. I asked for my bill again and told him I wanted to leave. He walked away and here we sit... Unbelievable. I will NEVER return read more

Food is all from Sysco . I had three gin and tonics and the glass being extremely small and filled to the brim with ice. Impossible to even get one shot of gin in each drink. You have to continually get the bartenders attention. Their wine selector selection is horrendous as is the beer selection. And the kicker - they had caviar on the menu for $90, this is Murphy, North Carolina, hopefully there will be a better place soon. read more

So let me tell you about the god sent French toast slices I had from this place. It's almost like Jesus himself cooked my breakfast. Unbelievable favor the Gordon Ramsey himself would cry with every bite. This was followed with the softest eggs I've ever had. Anyone who thinks the food here is good doesn't know good food! We were a group of 4 and had only heard bad things about this "restaurant". But our friends had been here before and said it was decent. We will not trust their opinion again. The waitress was obviously new, nice girl but clueless. She was unfamiliar with the drink or food specials. So here is our unfortunate food experience. We ordered Nachos.. We received a plate of cold chips covered in what looked like 3 cheeses which were barely melted, a few black beans were found, strips of red & green peppers mixed in and thrown on top, a dollop of sour cream and a spoonful of salsa. Not what we call nachos. Our friends ordered a chicken sandwich with fries and several flavors of chicken wings. They said the fries were cold and the sandwich was flavorless. We could tell it was a frozen breaded chicken patty and frozen shoestring fries. One of the specials was listed as eggplant pizza, which I like so I ordered it with a small side salad. What I got was $4.00 plate of lettuce mixed with 1 slice of cucumber, 2 black olives and soggy croutons. And the "pizza" was 2 slices of eggplant with red sauce (probably from a jar) topped with melted mozzarella cheese. Not at all a pizza! On the side was some sort of roll cut in half. But the worst of the worst was my husband's 16oz pork chop. He was not given a steak knife to use but even if he would have had one it wouldn't have mattered. The pork chop bad no flavor and was not fit to eat. He sent it back. When the head waitress came over to see how we were doing we informed her of our disappointment. She sort of apologized and told our waitress we were not happy. They took the pork chop off of our bill and gave our friends a 10% discount. By the way, the bottled beer was cold but the margarita was not good. If all you care about is getting a few beers and watching sports then this is the place for you. But if you care about the food you eat you should go somewhere else. read more

Only disappointment was the Cole slaw. 3 of us had the slaw and agreed it had no or very little dressing to it. Went here last night as a guest of some friends. They ordered the onion rings for an appetizer. They were amazing & based on that I thought the Bel Air sandwich I ordered would be too. Wrong! How can you screw up what is basically a grill cheese sandwich. The sandwich was supposed to be grilled, bread was soft & not crisp & I had to pull it apart to find the tiny pieces of avocado. Last night was Wednesday night and my husband and I decided to eat at Chevelle 's 66. Our waitress was Inez and she was excellent. Inez took time to let us know the specials and told us on Wed. Is $.65 chicken wings. Inez said she liked the garlic/Parmesan wings which I got and loved!!! My husband got golden sauce hot wings and they were great!!chicken was cooked great. I have been to Chevelles a few times before. I am not a sports bar kinda guy, but they had my team on TV, so my wife took me there for some "barfood" and Thursday Night Football! The service was excellent and helpful (they sat us with a view of 3 TV's). The place is clean and festive. Onion Rings were battered and delicious and not greasy. Hot wings were meaty and delicious. Crab cake was delicious as well. The cheesesticks were the best I have ever eaten and the fried ravioli were incredible. I Love bread pudding. It was massive and a masterpiece! I am not a hater, but I hate fruit added to bread pudding (except maybe 3 or 4 raisins) which has seemed to be a trend lately. No peaches, coconut, apples, or raisins. Just simple and delicious bread pudding with a bourbon sauce that made me wonder when I will be back again! read more

This was recommended as a place with great burgers. It is set up with outdoor areas and band areas with a separated dining area. Probably rocks to a young crowd at night. It was Sunday at lunch time. Their signature burger is a mushroom Swiss burger. I ordered the burger cooked medium. The burger arrived sporting a heavy roll type bun with lettuce, tomato, a small onion ring or two and a very small side of slaw. I thought the bun was too big and heavy for any hamburger but that's personal preference I guess. The meat had clearly been cut twice and arrived in 3 pieces, presumably to see how cooking had progressed. It tasted dried from the cuts and a bit old with a hint of that smell of ground beef that had overstayed its welcome in the fridge by a day... not spoiled but not fresh. Food was good! My daughters got cheeseburgers, wife had wings and I had a grilled chicken sandwich. We were seated fast and the waitress was awesome. She sang happy birthday to my daughter! The only issues I would say was the men's restroom was clean but the overhead light had tons of stuff laying in it. Also I wish they would marinate there chicken it was very plain tasting. We quit going to the Hayesville Chevelle's location months ago, because of consistently poor service and the food was marginal, at best! Well today, we were in Murphy and thought we'd try this location. At least they're consistent, the food at the Murphy location is just as marginal and perhaps worse than the Hayesville location. My wife ordered naked and hot, wings and I ordered a burger (medium) and fries. Pretty basic food order, but they managed to screw it up! My wife's wings were served breaded and half were hot half were plain! My burger was served RAW in the middle. I can understand now, their poor rating on YELP! They deserve it. Come on Chevelle's, hire some quality help in your kitchens, that can at least fry or grill a burger without screwing it up! read more

This bar/restaurant has wonderful food, drinks, service, and atmosphere! We ordered the Crab Cakes and Zucchini Sticks appetizers and I had the Rum Punch to drink. Everything was delicious and portion sizes were generous. (The Crab Cakes portion was (2) crab cakes for the appetizer.) It was warm out so we sat outside on the sofa next to one of the bars. It was relaxing and perfect just sitting outside on the patio. Everyone was so nice and our server took excellent care of us and checked on us often. I definitely recommend Chevelle's to anyone looking for a nice place to relax and have some great food. I have had 2 very and experiences at Chevelles lately. Two weeks ago my family and I came in on a Friday evening around 6pm. My husband ordered the stuffed shrimp and his came out with no sides, nothing. My mother and I ordered a steak with roasted potatoes and the potatoes were so over cooked you could not cut them with a butter knife. My stepdad also order a steak that was ordered med rare and came out well done with the same roasted potatoes. My sister ordered the chicken alfredo and it came out as spaghetti. We waited for almost an hour and this is what we received. My cousin ordered a plain kids burder and it came loaded and was rang up as an adults meal. It took an additional 45 mins for my sister to get what she ordered. We asked for baked potato in space of the roasted potatoes and that also came out over done. Our server was terrible, it was obvious that he was knew but he didn't know the answer to any questions. I asked if they had margaritas and he said no (which was the special of the night). I was very polite to the host and he gave me a 10% which I do not feel was good enough. I went back again for wing night (the wings are ALWAYS wonderful), we ordered bbq and about 3 of the 6 wings came out so spicy I couldn't eat them. I got a to go order of wings and I got home to find no ranch or blue cheese or celery and I got an to go chicken strip meal with honey mustard sauce. It came without slaw or sauce (which I payed extra for). I really HATE to complain to this extent but I work at a business that we refer customers to your restaurant daily. We had to beg for a menu, then we ordered and 46 minutes after my wife received her salad my appetizer never arrived so I canceled it because we were ready to leave. We just got done hearing the couple next to us complain about an $8 cup of soup that was half full. All of a sudden the bar tender came up and put our bill down and said, " Here is what your going to do!! pay your bill and get the F**K out. I ask to speak to the owner and said he owned the place. Another server said I will take the food off that you didn't receive. We paid the bill and found out that the true owner was a lady that was there and that the bartender was her son. We explained what happen to her and she asked her son if he really did that, and he responded yes. She laughed and said she was sorry but couldn't quit laughing entertaining her sons poor behavior. We're from out of town and decided that we'd try something non-chain related for lunch today... HUGE mistake on our behalf. The burgers were very dry, seemed to have used canned ingredients for toppings, ordered the garlic fries and most of those were burnt and so hard they were unedible. We will NEVER be ordering from this place again. We will NEVER recommend this place to anyone ever again. But hey, if you're in Marion, OH, I do recommend stopping at Dino's Bar and Grille if you want to get a GREAT burger, Maybe these people should go there to learn how to make a good one. The food lacks flavor. I ordered something so simple a (BURGER) and it didn't have any flavor. Prices don't seem to match the meals in my opinion. Every time my husband ordered a beer the waitress had to come back and say "sorry, were out of this or that" happened about FOUR TIMES.
