At that point, we were already siting down, which suggests the floors are poorly insulated. Breakfast was the standard Hampton Inn offering and fairly average. The location is the bigger plus-close to friends, along with several of our old favorite restaurants and coffee shops. The staff is friendly, and the hotel does offer a workout room and pool. Overall, its a decent place to stay, but there's room for improvement.

My first impressions on arrival were that the outside looked nice and that it had plenty of parking. However, the front faced a street without any parking, so the walk with my luggage was a bit further than I would have liked. Once you are inside, the lobby area is actually quite nice and modern, with a restaurant, a shop-type area, and plenty of other seating. There was also a pool and a gym that I caught a glimpse of but did not personally use. My room here was a single king with a sofa bed and it felt quite spacious. The bed itself was comfortable and the room had both a microwave and a fridge to use. The TV was of adequate size and had both live TV as well as the ability to log into Netflix and Disney+. Finally, the floor was a low-pile carpet that was surprisingly comfortable to walk on. My only complaints would be that the wheel on my desk chair was broken and that the walls were pretty thin. I could hear the full conversation between the gentleman next to me and his wife, as well as what he was watching on TV. Thank goodness for sound machines! The bottom line for me is that I would stay here again. While breakfast wasn't included in my stay here, at least I don't think it was, the hotel felt modern and my room was clean. The thin walls were definitely a downside, but overall I had a good stay.

Super convenient location too since it's located right off of I-91. The only things I will say is that the room are sightly dated and could use some upgrading. Our couch didn't have a ton of support when we sat on it, and some of the other items looked like they have been there for years. The other thing is the breakfast. It's pretty crappy with just some toast options, yogurt and juice. I know they say it's because of "Covid" but I just stayed in 3 other hotels while driving down to Florida, and they all had way better breakfasts with hot food too. Lots of places to walk including restaurants & shops. The owners recently installed a large pool that is secluded, comfortable and surrounded by nature. The owners, Pat & Wayne pay close attention to detail including large very clean rooms all with comfy king beds, beautiful linens, a fireplace and spa-like showers. A common kitchenette as well as in room refrigerators was also a bonus. The decor is fun and whimsical with lots of original art and creative nooks created by Pat who is an artist. Breakfast was delicious- You won't be disappointed. I also learned they host artist retreats. I cannot wait to return!

My wife the coffee drinker said the coffee was bad, and there were only a few decaf Lipton tea bags for me the tea drinker.
