On hot day we went to there ice cream side and it was refreshing. I asked for one scoop of…read moreblueberry shortcake. The employee suggested a bowl to hold on to and that was BEST idea because it melted quickly. We found a table in the large, indoor seating area and also up two bottles of water. PERFECTION!

It's been several years since I've been, so I thought I'd give it a try again. I'm sorry I did…read more First, I believe that the ice cream shop being included in the candy shop on here, is confusing. They are two separate buildings and have different hours. If the ice cream shop hours were also listed, it would be fine. Most of the young girls at the counter aren't very personable. There was a girl that was darker, maybe Hispanic or Hawaiian, and she was very nice. She helped me at the end because my sundae was melting onto the counter. Tonight I got a brownie sundae for $8.75. As always, there were only two flavors with a chocolate base. The one was just chocolate, and the other was almost identical-chocolate with two additional ingredients. Not enough. The girls NEVER-EVER put enough of the toppings on! Frustrating! Also, I told the one that waited on me that I wanted nuts, and she hadn't put them on. Glad I noticed! I FINALLY found out tonight that you can have as many of the toppings you'd like on the brownie sundae. You're not charged for extras-even extra hot fudge, etc. The containers the brownies are in are what the sundaes are put in. They're too small!! I asked for extra hot fudge, and that had to be put in a separate cup. Glad I did because she barely had any on the sundae. I went outside to eat my sundae because everything was dripping out of the container. As I was finishing up, a mouse ran right by me and stayed on the patio. I know I was outside, but feel that the tables could be wiped more frequently. They close at 8 pm, and I left about 8:15. The trash hadn't been emptied yet. When I got to my car a few minutes later, the outside lights were turned off. I hope that they emptied the trash. When I've gone there, I always wonder if decent ice cream is worth it. I'm not sure... PS - I "Edited" the post because I hadn't pasted everything from where I initially wrote it.

Spent almost $50 on candies and treats, and firstly all of the "bulk" candy was clearly stale and had been out for a long time. My partner and I also purchased treats called "thin mints" (which any google search would tell you thin mints = girl scout style cookie treat) but when we opened them at home they were peppermint patties, a completely different treat and not something either of us like. We went back today to see if we had been given the wrong thing or if they could help us, and the woman there (assuming she was the owner/manager by her demeanor) was so so unprofessional and dismissive! We walked in and no one greeted us, the "owner" woman was at the register on her cell phone talking and turned away from us upon walking in. After a few minutes a young girl came out and helped us, so I explained the miscommunication the day before. The owner (note, she was also in the store the day before during our initial transaction) interrupted to explain in a pretty condescending way that they meant something different by "thin mints" and that we clearly did not know. She then got back on her phone and turned her back, clearly did not care that a customer was unhappy. I explained to her employee that this was clearly a miscommunication and can they help us with switching to a candy we like or give us a refund, and she quickly refused and offered no other path to making the situation right. So disappointing to want to support a small business, just to realize they completely don't care about what they are selling or who they are selling to. Seriously, go to the Head Nut candy shop in town instead.
