Cheesy Chicken and Broccoli Potato Boat

From the time I walked through the door the service was remarkable. The young lady ask the question is it your first time there, if it is she give you a great rundown of the menu. The food is prepared to order and came out hot and delicious. The restaurant is clean and the service is great. Make sure to try the blue lemonade

Build your own potato boat!!! Amazing worth every cent! Wow y'all gotta try, I also got the jerk wings very good. There is a wait with the build your own but not to long they got all the fixins. Highly recommend! the owner is also very pleasant and it's extremely clean inside. There was a young woman assisting very professional and helpful I wish I would have gotten her name it was starting to get busy and she was rocking and rolling the front of the house! Next time I go back I'll try the cake and lemonade

This was my second time here, and it was just as good as the first. The staff are friendly and always willing to tell you about their food.

It's an old fast food restaurant that's now a local diner. Our server Alice/Allison? Was so sweet!!! Three of us order their BEC sandwich with either hash browns or the home fries which is what I got bc they were listed as seasoned potatoes. Which they were. Really well seasoned and great with added cheese and Texas Pete. The BEC part of the sandwich was perfect but then the toast was the fail because it was just cold dry toast. NO melted butter??? What is that? We're in the South, butter up my toast like the Waffle House!!! Support local and just be sure to ask for your toast to be buttered!!! ;-)

Ashes potatoes are meh. They come with brown gravy. The chicken livers are crispy and tender. The creamed corn is made in house so there are chunks of corn kernels. The burger is large and made to order with crinkle fries. The service was good, it was busy time. Give yourself time here. Waitress was not a good listener. I gave a 4 for food. The floor was sticky.

I find this highly irritating and I suspect most other customers feel the same. If this is part of the Manager's training for cashiers it should be eliminated promptly. I am generous when service is good, but it's not any business of the cashier about how generous or not generous I am. Adults don't need to be given a "guilt trip" by the cashier about their generosity. Adults know when and how to tip appropriately without a cashier prompting them. Now, the food is almost always good, but I'll make another cashier complaint while I'm at it. Commonly the cashiers will ask if everything was okay and I usually say "yes", but if I ever say "no" which is very rare no cashier has ever offered to resolve the problem. So, why are they asking the question? If it's just meant as a cordial greeting they should find something more useful and appropriate to say such as "Hello Sir/Madam. Will this be cash or credit card?" A follow-up "Thank you." would be perfect after the bill is paid. Now, let's get to ambience. Well, it's not great, but it could be better. It's a wide open room where anyone can see anyone else in the entire building and the noise from all the conversations going on is continual. But, there is also some type of music being played all the time. The music is useless because it just becomes part of the existing noise. The Manager should re-think this and turn the music off. That would be a simple fix to help ambience. And, of course, there are ways to reduce all the people noise, but that involves an investment in seating similar to the old Capri's Italian restaurants or the current Casa Fuentes restaurant where booths have high backs and seating is more plush and sound absorbing. But, that's not likely in the budget. So, simply turning the music off is a no cost way to improve ambience.
