We love Cherrys! The staff makes this place like the show Cheers, everyone knows your name. The bar is always lively but it still retains that family restaurant feel.

This was such an amazing food experience. After a long day of hiking I went to Cherry's. Although a bit understaffed I was served amazing food in a reasonable amount of time. My server Livy was very kind and made sure I was taken care of.

Me and my poor mother.

I have never been as disgusted, appalled, and distraught after an experience at any restaurant. I came with my mother who was in town who has diabetes. She was running low on blood sugar and we needed a bite to eat. We sat and waited for 25 minutes before a waitress even approached us. She was extremely unprofessional and as she walked away I saw her hit a nicotine stick. We waited another 45 minutes for our food to arrive. As we finally began to eat the food tasted off, and then a roach crawled out of my mothers burger bun and on to her hand. She began going into heart failure and was gasping and seizing on the floor. It took 5 minutes for anyone to come to her attention, and while she was being carried away by an ambulance and I was getting inside the waitress asked me how I would be paying. My mother almost died of a heart attack from the roach in her food, and I still had to pay $35 dollars for two burgers. Mine was good though!

Extremely bad customer service, I waited with money out for 50 minutes just to order wings.

Fantastic neighborhood bar and grill- great food, great service. Salads are fresh, good burgers, and excellent Buffalo Chicken wrap.

We drove over an hour from Pinellas County because of the glowing reviews, and it ended up being…read moreone of the most disappointing dining experiences we've had. We were traveling with an elderly disabled family member who uses a mobility scooter. Although there were designated accessible parking spaces, the ramp leading into the building was so narrow that her scooter couldn't safely use it. Once inside, both the retail store and the restaurant had aisles that were too narrow for the scooter to navigate. As a result, she had to leave the scooter behind and painfully walk with a cane, which left her exhausted before we were even seated. The retail store itself was packed so tightly with merchandise that it felt more like navigating an obstacle course than shopping. Much of the merchandise was gift-shop fare at prices that seemed difficult to justify. The restaurant appeared disorganized from the moment we checked in. We watched multiple parties who arrived after us get seated before we did, including a party of two being seated at a table that could accommodate eight guests. Meanwhile, our elderly disabled relative was told she could wait in a chair next to the restroom. When we were finally called, we were seated at a table at the very back of the restaurant, requiring yet another long and painful walk for our relative. After looking over the menu, we found the prices surprisingly high for the offerings, and there wasn't enough that appealed to our group to justify staying. At that point, we decided to leave without ordering. After driving more than an hour based on the restaurant's reputation, the combination of poor accessibility, disorganized seating, and a menu that didn't provide good value made the trip feel like a complete waste of time. We ended up driving into Plant City instead, where we found a welcoming restaurant with reasonable prices and a much better overall experience.

It has a huge wine and liquor menu and the food menu is set offerings which cover lunch and dinner (dinner reservations highly recommended). Food was good not a wow but good. Blue cheese chips with tomato and a balsamic glaze, prime rib sandwich and a burger bowl, yes there is a burger under that pile of arugula. Brought dessert home from their mini bakery to enjoy later. The background music was just a nice volume so as to not overwhelm the table. If you go try to not let them seat you at the furthest back table against the wall in the side dining room. Definitely a turn off given the open vibe of the other dining areas which had openings.

I must admit that it's been a little over 5 years since we last visited this restaurant. Our last…read morecouple of experiences were less than stellar. It was the inconsistencies with the quality of the prime rib that kept me from returning. We decided to go back recently for an early birthday dinner. It's conveniently located in our neighborhood. The atmosphere has definitely changed. I noticed it immediately when we entered. It's a smaller staff than before. We remember being greeted right away (even at opening time). This time, there was no one at the reception stand. We waited for a few minutes knowing there was a larger group that was there before us. I believe it was the bartender (maybe the host) who eventually greeted & seated us. Melissa got everything started with our drink order. She was great! I really liked that she had the right amount of attentiveness. We never had to wave her over for anything. She also confirmed that the pretzel sticks are now an additional charge. To be honest, I never liked them that much anyway. I didn't get to take a picture of my husband's Wedge Salad. He started eating it right away. I was impressed with my House Salad. It looked and tasted so fresh. He was also happy with his Peach Bourbon Pork Chop, although he did say that the sauce was a little too sweet for him. We both agreed that it was tender, and not dry. It's a good choice. I had the Delmonico Ribeye, and it was prepared and seasoned perfectly. Loved it! I had leftovers the next day, and it was just as tasty. It's my new favorite steak in the area. Our last Texas Roadhouse and Outback steak experiences were horrible. This one at Stonewood is more expensive, but it was worth it. Now, I don't know how it will be the next time so don't quote me on this. As I mentioned before, there have been inconsistencies in the past. However, I will say that the cocktails & service here have always been very good. I will go back for the steak. I'm not sure that I'd order the Prime Rib again. I'll save that experiment for another day when it's not a special occasion. Give it a try if you happen to be in Brandon. They also have a location in Tampa Palms which appears to be more popular. It's a Florida (originated in Ormond Beach) restaurant chain that has been around for over 20 years. It deserves more praise.

Was looking for a breakfast spot and found this canopy location…read more The service was fast and great but not so much the food OR cleanliness of the restaurant. You're able to sit wherever you like and it was my fault for not really looking above the table I sat in. I ordered the pancakes with eggs. The pancake was dry and not tasty, the eggs weren't fully scrambled. Some of it was still uncooked...eeyuckk... anyways while waiting for the check I decided to really look up at the ceiling and seen all the dust accumulated on the lights, it was nasty. I wouldn't return at all.

Very good place for a last minute large brunch group…read more We were a party of 12, and we wanted brunch after the kids finished their soccer games. We were able to walk up to Canopy Road Cafe in Lithia without reservations, and they got 3 tables close to each other (on the patio) without any fuss. To add to it, the waitress was a doll, and the food was served in a very timely manner for the size of the party. The menu is big and full of brunch favorites. It wasn't all junk, either. I had the blackened salmon benedict. Was it the best quality salmon? No. But the hollandaise was tasty, the salmon was a generous portion, the spinach was nicely sauteed, and the poached eggs were appropriately runny. I liked that the standard side options included salad, fruit, and potatoes. There were healthy and unhealthy options, which was great. They have a decent kids menu, and we parents appreciated that the kids were given crayons and could play tic tac toe among themselves while the adults talked. The prices were fairly standard for a small chain brunch restaurant. Not a bargain, but nothing more than you'd expect to pay for a clean and pleasant suburban brunch experience.
