Wow we finally stopped in for lunch and my tummy left feeling very happy! You know that kind of…read moreplace that is just good for the soul once in a while? This is it! You have to try their Mac and cheese it's very delicious, we especially loved the green chili one with pork. I also got their turkey sandwich and thought $15 was a little steep but it is made with freshly sliced turkey and not the lunch meat kind. You order at a screen and wait for your number. Only outside seating so no a/c but they do have beer and wine for sale as well as meals to make later. Lemonade needed a little extra sugar but the brown butter chocolate chip cookie was the perfect ending. We walked around and saw their event space which is really pretty and an outdoor space for ceremonies. In the fall they have a small pumpkin patch out front.

I don't remember the ordering process exactly, it's like you order at the register and then pay…read moreright there and... you get your food on a tray after. Kind of cafeteria style. I think there were a lot of offerings like pastries and breads and things on shelves you could add to your order, I wish I spent more time looking around. Sat outside, the weather was pretty good that day.. It was warm, I don't remember there being fans or anything. But maybe there were. I believe there is some indoor seating as well. The breakfast biscuit is yummy, the cinnamon roll was massive, just a little dry (the parts without the icing). I have been meaning to come here to the farm but made it to breakfast first instead. I need to come back and give it another shot and observe more. And check out the farm side of things as well.

Wanted to give a shout out to our server Katt last night at the Flamestone Grill in Oldsmar…read more She made the excellent food and atmosphere even better! Knowledgeable, personable and attentive.....what more could you ask for? The overall experience was wonderful, as always. Nice, cozy atmosphere. Excellent service. And the food was pretty much perfect. I ordered the special ($90), a Tomahawk rib-eye cooked Pittsburgh medium and it was prepared perfectly! (see pictures). My girlfriend ordered the seafood Risotto, that was also excellent, with crawfish, scallops and shrimp. I always look forward to their Flame stone salad with pecans, cheese, dried cranberries and creamy balsamic vinaigrette. I would have given 5 stars but for me, at these prices, I would expect the meals to include bread and salad. The rib-eye came with 2 sides, the risotto with nothing.

I'm done with FlameStone. The food has been okay--slightly overpriced for the quality and…read morepresentation, but still within an acceptable range. The service is what keeps ruining the experience. Every visit has been disappointing, from checking in at the front desk to the service at the table. Servers disappear for long stretches, drinks sit empty without anyone offering a refill, and getting someone's attention feels like a chore. There's a general indifference that makes you feel like an inconvenience rather than a paying customer. I don't expect constant attention, just friendly service and basic follow-through. After repeatedly having the same experience, I won't be coming back.

It made us feel truly welcomed and also appreciated. They were genuinely nice and made us feel at home though it was a restaurant. If you want a delicious and very elevated cocktail this is the place to go. My husband got a Paloma and I got a lavender gin drink. Both were very well made and beautifully presented As far as the food goes, we got the feta honey cheese pie which was very new to us but was excellent. It was very crispy and flaky on the outside with sweet sticky honey drizzled on top but then warm, melt in your mouth cheese in the middle. The greek salad was very fresh and delicious. We love the potato salad core. We also got the Greek sampler that had a lovely and light feta cheese spread with hummus and tzatziki with peppers and red onions. Very tasty and delicious. It came with a side of pita bread. The main entree we got the Chicken Ala Mykonos Dinner. The chicken was juicy and well seasoned. The sauce on the orzo was creamy but light. Everything worked well together and was perfectly balanced. We were so stuffed we brought home three boxes of food. When we were leaving Nick offered us two biscoff desserts to go. They looked so delicious we had to try a sample of it when we got home even though we were completely stuffed. The dessert tasted like a light version of a biscoff cookie. Not too sweet, very soft, and little firmer than pudding. We've never had anything like it but it was delicious Overall it was a great experience and we will certainly be back

I liked the place as soon as we drove up, easy parking, large American and Greece flags flying…read more While Foodys is primarily a Greek restaurant with all sorts of Greek dishes, it offers much, much more, including sandwiches, pizzas, breakfast, and what I tried, burgers. I'll start by saying the two people with me had Greek dishes, Chicken Naousa and Chicken Souvlaki, and both had positive things to say. If we return someday I will go Greek, as I found my burger a little dry and kind of a challenge. My choice was their Dallas BBQ Cheeseburger with bacon, which I asked to be cooked medium. My plate was full with the burger itself, fries, and separately the usual burger toppings. With the onion rings and the bacon strips, I decided to not try to assemble with the toppings but just include those as I ate. The slowness of the meal was noticeable, I started with a side Caesar Salad, which took about 20 minutes to arrive.
