Pizza review: Similar concept to Danny's Pizza Tavern (DPT), namely with a bar offering "tavern-style" pizza, and the menu design is also reminiscent. Whereas DPT had 14" pies at varied prices, starting at $25 (for their "Cheese" pie, which has grass-fed Mozz, & Fior Di Latte), here the pies are all the same price, at $20. Ordered "Four Cheese" ($20, 14," "Parm, Mozzarella, Smoked Provolone, Cheddar"); asked "well done." Dough was very thin (which is fine, and most of the appeal of "tavern-style"), and lacked much, if any, air pockets/bubbles. Would not consider the pie "well-done," yet the outer half-inch was nicely lightly charred. Sauce was not noticeable in flavour. Cheese lacked complexity (in flavours), and was very prominent in "mainstream cheese" flavour. Overall, this pie was the pizza equivalent to a very respectable grilled cheese sandwich. Would highly reccomend Danny's Pizza Tavern's "Cheese" pie over Cherry's High Dive's "Four Cheese" since Danny's pie had more char and a more nuanced cheese flavour profile.

Finally made it to Cherry's High Dive! Walked over after attending the xmas pop up at The Ritz. We didn't have reservations so we just opted to sit at the bar. Probably the most comfortable bar chairs ever! We were not super hungry so we decided to split the pepperoni pizza - Delish!! Loved everything about it. Pepperoni has a bit of a kick to it. It's a great tavern style pie. My friend had a negroni which he said was good. Staff was friendly. Retro vibe and aesthetic. Music was good too and they had Leafs game on. They have pool tables too. Lots of group tables so it was pretty loud and some tables made sure you knew they were there! Would definitely come back! Lots of good items on menu, Caesar salad, schnitzel, all day breakfast.

A freshly baked pizza with pepperoni slices and jalapeño rings is placed on a metal stand on a wooden table. The setting appears to be an outdoor dining area with wooden furniture and a wooden fence in the background, along with some potted plants and blurred lights, indicating an evening or nighttime atmosphere.

This place always has a crowd every weekend late night. So i dragged my frds with me to check it out. Not crazy. Cheap beers, thin crust pizza. Service was ok. Need to really flag them down if u need something. But over good vibes.

4.5/5 stars for the vibe!!! 3/5 stars for the food. Come to Cherry's for the vibe!!! If you are a massive foodie, would not highly recommend but pretty good for bar food! Service was great. Everyone was very nice and our server checked on us often to ensure our table had everything we needed. There are cute things to do there too such as play pool for free and $5 vintage print out Photo Booth. It gets fairly busy later at night after dinner but dinner was nice. Workers kept walking in and out the doors though and it was cold at night so it wasn't super pleasant having the wind hit us often during our meal. Food: - Mushroom & Truffle Pizza: 4/5 stars. The pizza was very thin which I wasn't expecting but it was delicious!!! They cut the circular pizza into squares which I thought was strange but ok. I ended up having leftovers since I also tried the pasta. Great pizza for a bar - Pasta alla vodka: 2.9/5 stars. Pretty mid but I was super hungry so I ate it all. It was kinda soupy? Reminded me of chef bouyardee pasta in a can which is not great. It could have also been slightly thicker the sauce. Pasta was a bit soft for my taste, I also thought the shell pasta was an interesting choice for a vodka pasta. - Chocolate cake: 3/5 stars. Respectfully charging $12 for this slice of cake is criminal. Literally tasted like a grocery store cake which I could've bought a whole cake for $12. Not worth. Again, come for the vibes and the drinks for a good and cute night out. Would recommend eating somewhere else if you are picky with food!

Chocolate cake - A slice of chocolate cake with a glossy chocolate glaze is placed on a white plate with a brown rim. The cake is decorated with three fresh raspberries and two thin lines of icing. A dollop of whipped cream with a small mint leaf is served alongside the cake. The plate is set on a wooden table, and part of another plate is visible at the top of the image.

Super cute place to go for a girls night out. The vibes are classy and retro and they have a free pool table and a Photo Booth ($5). I wouldn't say the food was the best part of the experience however. The vodka pasta was good but it tasted like something out of a can. The pizzas were very big and the crust was very crispy. We also tried the chocolate cake which we were a little disappointed in. It tasted like a grocery store cake. The service was great and we chatted with the manager too and he was super friendly. It got pretty busy around 9pm with people going to the bar and hanging around the pool table. I would recommend making a reservation if you're looking to sit and dine.

loved the lively atmosphere, interesting crowd, and decor of cherrys!! came at 11pm after a concert. we were seated right away. quick and friendly service. water was fully filled all night long. servers were approachable. pasta came 10 mins before the pizza so that was slightly awkward. pasta was cooked al dente. portion size was surprisingly large. the spicy vodka sauce was overpowering - it drowned out the tomato base. when i ate it it was literally just me enduring 20 mins of spice. pizza was actually pretty good!! i love the thin crust and the balance of everything - sauce cheese pepperoni. we got the hot honey sauce for an extra charge and it was soooo good!! i loved the photobooth they have with the cheetah/leopard backdrop. the place was boppin on a tuesday night so the pool table wasn't available. will come back with a bigger group for a longer night out!!

    Lavender sour

We went there for a casual Friday evening. The vibe was great. They sat us at the bar because we didn't have reservation. The lavender sour caught my fancy. It looks great but the egg white the bartender used was either old or was sitting out for too long. My drink was smelling eggy. I've had whisky sour in many places but this is was the first smelly experience. My husband's margarita was pretty mediocre too. I guess it's a place to get a cold beer because the cocktails are expensive ($16) and not great quality. The Cajun fries were really good and the lemon aoli was amazing too. The service is pretty inconsistent too. The bartender served us water in cheap plastic cups and served the gentleman next to us in glass cup. Also, he didn't us plates and silverware until we asked him. So felt like service could be much more attentive and consistent.

Ordered the kale salad, broccolini and a bottle of pinot for our table of 3. We originally ordered a chardonnay but they were sold out. Instead of letting us know before and asking we want a different drink, our waiter brought a bottle of pinot over, opened it and told us they're sold out as he was opening it. The kale salad was average - wouldn't order again. The broccolini was delicious- perfectly grilled, and the charred lemon was a good touch. That being said, they're known more for their bar food so I will return to try those out. The pizzas looked great! FYI there's a photobooth at the back of the restaurant ($5 for 2 copies) and a pool table! Make sure you make a reservation on weekends!

Smash Burger and Mezcal Negroni - A meal featuring a cheeseburger with a soft bun, lettuce, and a beef patty, accompanied by curly fries and a small metal cup of ketchup, is presented on a striped ceramic plate. The setting includes a wooden table with drinks, including a glass of red beverage, a glass of water, and a frosted glass of a cold drink, with candles and other tableware in the background.

Got seated right away when we came by at around 3:30PM on a Sunday. Lots of space and tables, they even have a pool table and photo booth at the back of the restaurant, which was fun to use! I ordered the smash burger which came with curly fries and mezcal negroni, both I would recommend and order again! They do All Day Breakfast, my friend ordered a stack of pancakes and bacon which looked delicious.

Popped in here after work one day didn't have reservations, but they sat us at the bar. Felt extremely bad for the girl who ended up burning her hair and stinking up the whole place with the lit candle as she was trying to take a picture. While I miss Marben, I love what they did to this place. My chicken was cooked perfectly. My friend had the Caesar salad with calamari, and she enjoyed it as well.

The waitresses seemed to be high on something, slurring her words, ignoring us at times and forgetting what the order was. The food came out in 5 minutes, some paper thin clearly frozen pizza. The guy who brought it out was funny tho he said "I'll get in trouble if I don't stack the pizzas on the metal thing" when there clearly was space on the table lol Then we got the waitress lady again, she asked if we wanted drinks 6 times and I finally ordered a beer which of course never came in. 15 mins later she asks if I ordered one and I said it's okay just bring the bill She then brings out a beer with the bill? I said no thanks and we paid and left The weirdest 30 min dining experience, don't come to this tik tok slob factory. They did play a nice country song tho lol Also don't work if you're clearly high on something and acting bizarre

My friends and I visited Cherry's for some friday evening drinks and apps. The place was full to the brim, I hit some calamari and and espresso martini, we ordered some tequila shots as well. Our servers were friendly and poured us an extra shot on the house which was nice. The place is a little crowded and there's no chance of getting a

Chicken wings, Smash Burger, mushroom truffle pizza, Calamri, pasta - The image shows a wooden dining table with several plates of food, including a large pizza with mushrooms, a bowl of pasta, chicken wings with dipping sauce, onion rings, and a burger. There are also drinks, including two glasses of soda with lemon wedges, and bottles of condiments. Utensils are placed on some plates, and a small menu or sign is visible on the table. The setting appears to be a casual restaurant or pub.

Cherry's was a great experience. Get a reservation if you don't want to sit outside however outside seating is heated and tables are still quite large. The iconic Photo Booth is in the very back of the bar they only take debit and it's a rather small booth. Drinks are very good strong but still tasty, apps were all good and came out pretty fast portions sizes are all good for sharing pizza is PAPER THIN but so favlourfull similar to the earls mushroom Kale pizza. Great place to hang out with friends

In season, you can catch Michael playing trumpet and singing with a jazz band on the back patio on Saturday evenings (5-8pm). The patio, accessible via an alleyway off Rolyat Street, feels like one of this neighbourhood's best kept secrets. Such a fun, chill vibe back there. We started with the Brussels sprouts which is always a great choice from here. Crispy on the outside and not an overwhelming Brussels sprout taste. This is likely because there is a generous sprinkling of grated parm and a great amount of dip. We tried the crispy tuna sushi. The tuna was beautifully marinated, so flavourful. And the sushi was nice and crispy. The vodka pie was a seasonal item and when we saw it listed, we knew we needed to try it. The sauce- amazing, the press was nice and flaky and light and really tasty. And the soccer Sada added nice saltines and flavour without being too overwhelming.
