Such a fun atmosphere for drinks with friends or even for a date! The drinks are very unique and all very fun - I'll be back to try more of the menu! The servers were amazing at suggesting options. The pear drink I had was a little strong but I tried a friend's drink who had the carrot based one and it was amazing!

Update: they added booths, new cocktails, and in my opinion the best smash burger in Toronto to their menu. I will be back.

We made a reservation for Wednesday night (pretty quiet) as a group of 6. Upon sitting down, we were told there was a 90-min seating window and an auto-grat of 20% that will be applied to the bill at the end. The interior is cozy and tastefully decorated with emerald green booth seating and dim lighting. Near the entrance is a stand-up bar (no seating) where you can chat in a more casual setting and witness the bartender prepare your drinks. I came in with high expectations on the drinks since they are known for being a cocktail bar. I had the Grape Caipirinha (grape, cachaca, aromatized wine, lemon, citrust oleo) and Lemon Drop Martini. I thought both were just average and nothing extraordinary. My friends tried the lychee martini and brown butter wallbanger - again, tasty but not something we would specifically come back for. For food, we had the Big Mac Spring Rolls ($14 for 3), Tuna Tartare Crisps ($18 for 3), Crispy Fries ($11), and Popcorn Chicken ($14). The spring rolls were unique and surprisingly good, since normally I'm skeptical about foods with a fusion twist. Definitely get these if you only plan to try one food item. The tartare was bland and slightly citrusy despite the beautiful presentation. The fries have the exact crispiness I like and were quite salty, while the popcorn chicken smelled delicious (tasted great too), but was extremely small in portion. Everything was overpriced, as expected (with everything shared and split amongst our group, I essentially had 2 small pieces of chicken for $5, 1 spring roll for another $5, etc). Points for being flexible on splitting the bill though.

Awesome cocktail bar! I wanted to start off by giving a shout-out to their service, they were amazing all around and I highly recommend them just for that, just for the care they show for their customers. Went on a busy Saturday night but was able to get seats within 30 minutes even without a reservation. It has a very nice aesthetic, with lower lighting. The have a bar with ample seating where you can match the bartenders do their magic. Their cocktail menu is quite extensive with some very creative options (Pho Get About It), but opted to go on the safer side for my first time. I ended up getting the Clear as Night, which had nice tropical vibes with a nice hint of ube. My table also got the chicarrones and guac which was excellent. Overall great hangout and date spot, I definitely do recommend reserving if you have a bigger group.

We love the pop up Christmas theme! It's a little outside of the downtown core which is NICE! There's not a huge line as with some of the other pop ups bars in the city. Great for a second date or beyond. Lots of seating by the bar but larger groups beware. Theres less room to accommodate larger groups(+5). The drinks are made strong and kitchen is open all night! We had the Brussels sprouts, fries and popcorn chicken. I would recommend the Brussels sprouts and chicken but the fries were a small portion and a little over salted. Our server was friendly and attentive. Keep in mind they do have an hour seat limit which helps keep the line moving. They also serve hot chocolate outside for people waiting in the cold, this is a nice personal touch.

Cute Christmas bar for the holiday season! I heard Project Gigglewater is now turned into a Christmas bar for the holiday season and I was so impressed! It's a small space with both table seating and bar seating available. Once entering, You can feel all the Christmas vibes. The restaurant is covered from head to toe with Christmas themes, the walls were wrapped in wrapping paper, ceilings had blinking lights and hanging ornaments, all the staff were dressed in holiday gear - super festive! The servers were all super friendly and helpful when choosing our drinks! All their holiday drinks on the menu are pre-mixed, so you're unable to ask for any virgin holiday drinks. We only know this since one person in my party wanted a virgin drink from the holiday menu but was unable to get one - bummer but understandable. The drinks were all so delicious and festive looking. Fries were BOMB! The toast with truffle butter came super burnt though, so all we tasted from the sourdough bread was burnt parts. Overall it was such a great time hanging out here with friends over festive drinks and a great vibe!

My partner and I went here after a disappointing dinner. Suffice to say, this bar and their drinks salvaged the night. We went on a Thursday evening so it wasn't packed at all. Even if it was, they had extra tables and seats further inside. I got the toasty amaretto sour while my partner got the pretty little lychee. Both were excellent, sweet cocktails. I ended up getting a 2nd amaretto sour, which was apparently their most popular cocktail and deservingly so! I would've gotten a 3rd if we weren't in a rush. Service was great, fast, and friendly. We would come back again.

A good local spot, did not feel overly curated. It has interesting unconventional drinks some that you may not expect like a pho flavored drink. The bar tending staff were really warm and exceptional and it feels like a local spot that has a welcoming but trendy atmosphere. Would come back for a cocktail some time soon for sure. Was easy to get a seat on a weeknight! Great date night spot or place to catch up with friends

My girlfriend and I had the best experience last Friday. We had Luke as our bartender/server who was very friendly and very talented making drinks. We ordered a few off the menu and then just requested some knowns one or told him spirits and flavours we like and he's make something up. They were ALL wonderful! They also have these interesting espresso/negroni shots to keep the night going which we really liked. We only tried one snack (it was more of a drinking night) but it was wonderful! We got a slider each and it was magic. The meat was cooked perfectly, the bun was tender. You have to get at least this when you go! I'll be back for sure.

We went here in a group of 5 right after the Little Italy street festival, the day had been hot and tiring, and we were looking for a place to cool it off and have some drinks. Gigglewater was just perfect. The dim lighting, calming ambiance, and friendly servers created a relaxing space. The drinks (I ordered an Ube Bee) were great in flavour and were not watered down, which is appreciated. We ordered only the fries which were interestingly crunchy, I like them extra that way so a thumbs up for this. We didn't order more food so I don't have a review for the food yet but going by everything else I'm assuming it must be good too. Will definitely go back sometime.

Great place for some drinks and food I was here for brunch and the pina colada soufflé pancakes were absolutely delish! Also enjoyed the La Bandida cocktail which was quite refreshing and tasty. Definitely worth a visit!

This place is awesome! Vincent is a cocktail master. The menu has a bunch of great drinks on it, or if you're feeling for something specific he can definitely make it for you. I always like getting the El Finablo, it's a light drink with a little bite. The bar is a little hard to find, which gives it that 'Speak Easy' vibe. Once you do find it, it's a super plush, relaxed classy atmosphere, with comfortable bar stools, and cozy tables. We've been here a couple of times, and always look forward to our next visit.

I would not hesitate to come back, but there are some things I would definitely not order again. Not order again: - mozzarella sticks - these were not cheesy, fresh, or flavourful, huge disappointment - prosciutto and zeppole - prosciutto were not very fresh or thinly sliced, weirdly presented with the zeppole on the side Will definitely order again: - heroic dose pasta - the pasta was so fresh, great sauce and plenty of mushrooms (my favourite dish) - NYC spicy rigatoni - really good flavours and the pasta texture was perfect (also homemade) - Caesar salad - so creamy and I think they make the sauce in house bc I tasted a hint of the anchovy umami flavour The pesto pasta was pretty good too. And so were all the pizzas. I can't comment much on the pizzas because I was heavily focused on their homemade pasta. Everyone enjoyed the pizzas though. The only things that was bad were the two appetizers we got. They also offer an extensive list of drinks - beer, wine, cocktails, mocktails. I really like this spot and will definitely be back!

Very nondescript outside facade - no sign telling you what it is other than a small "BSC" (for Bovine Sex Club) painted near the door. Great sound system & chill vibes pervade throughout. Weirdly the stage is right in the entrance of the club, on your left, with a long bar along the right side, heading back. Great, crowd, great location in cool area with lots of restaurants & plenty of parking - both on the street up to 2 hours & extended parking for a flat-rate of CA$20 (~$14 USD) from 6:00pm until the next morning, just 2 blacks away.

Without attempting to try to present a front of a time long gone, The Bovine simply exists today as it once did in that time long ago, before Smokes stickers, before iPhones, back when people would just go to a bar to talk with those they didn't know the morning prior. In season, you can catch Michael playing trumpet and singing with a jazz band on the back patio on Saturday evenings (5-8pm). The patio, accessible via an alleyway off Rolyat Street, feels like one of this neighbourhood's best kept secrets. Such a fun, chill vibe back there. Perhaps these Saturday shows will eventually move back inside, where they were held in the beforetimes, when the band sat cheek by jowl with customers in one of the city's most "intimate" performance venues. But whether Michael is performing behind the bar or on the back patio, the man is a marvel of multitasking. He'll perform part of a tune, set the trumpet down as the band plays on, take people's orders, prepare and serve drinks, and then pick up the trumpet and continue the song. So freaking cool.
