However, the massages were mediocre at best. These people unfortunately are not licensed or experienced masseuses. The person who also massaged me left the room 4x. I discovered this uniquely named (your feet are like roots to trees!) merchant while dining at Salad House in this same killer strip. Other than the weird smell upon entry, everything was stellar! I had an amazing body and foot combo massage for only $45! I asked for medium pressure and it was absolutely that and perfect! This little young lady was strong and thoroughly massaged and relaxed me - bliss that I did not want to end! Now, you are in a big room with other patrons but you are completely clothed and covered with light weight blankets. Not a deterrent for me, but it may be for others. Nice peaceful music played the whole time. There was also a cozy gas fireplace as well. Nice ambiance for sure! For this price, Im going monthly!!!

She seemed annoyed that I was even in the store. I was told that they weren't taking appointments that were booked online. She said I should have never been allowed to book online and that my confirmation email was not sufficient for my appointment. She refused my service and said I'd have to call later to book because she was busy and didn't have time to book me in person. I just smiled and said okay. I acted like her rudeness and lack of customer service was acceptable, but it most certainly was not. There are far too many day spas in the area for me to rebook with the rudest service I've ever had and any spa.

I got deep tissue for 60 minutes. It was so intense, in the best of ways, that I was afraid to drive home! I definitely suggest you book today, and if you're looking for the perfect gift for any occasion, grab a gift certificate today! Your friends and family will be forever in your debt. What I mean by that is this is not the Red Door Spa of the late 80s. However, the work that is done here is incredibly well done. They clearly make every attempt at ambience with spa music and keeping things mostly quiet or hushed, although I'm not going to deny that the rooms are "curtained" rooms (areas sectioned off by curtains). Nonetheless, there's perfect privacy within those. Can you hear other things happening around? Yes you can. But I have to tell you that that did not bother me one bit. If you're looking for some exclusive situation, they do apparently have private rooms. Whether or not they are soundproof, I cannot attest to. However, the work that was done while I was on that table was terrific! The woman who worked with me was Yo Yo and she was utterly fantastic. From the time that I arrived until I walked out the door--which Yo Yo opened and held open for me out of courtesy-- I was pampered. I was escorted to the back, given a robe/drape, given a few moments alone to undress from waist up as I was partaking in the 60 minute head spa. Yo-yo checked with me before coming back into the space and then assisted me (not that I really needed it) with getting on the table so that I was positioned correctly. She was gentle. She was smiling. She was quiet mostly, but did stop to ask questions (water temp, pressure of massage, etc.). She began her work, which started with a dry run through of the hair with various tools. If you've seen the videos on social media that keep popping up for head spa you have the general idea of what I mean when I say the tools that they use. I was there on that table for an hour. I had a mini facial. My head was massaged multiple times both dry and shampooed (twice). I had my neck massaged, my upper chest, my upper back and then all the way down my arms to my hands. It was wonderful. I have no complaints whatsoever. The products that were used were very light in their scent, but pleasant nonetheless and they were not greasy. The steam and whatever conditioner that is on my hair has made my hair so shiny and soft. I have processed hair. My hair has not been this soft since prior to bleaching/coloring. I cannot say enough good things about this experience. I expected sort of what I saw on the social media postings by various other "spas" and that's exactly what I got and more. Yo-yo met me out at the table where there was the hair dryer (and a snack and bottle of water) and blew out my hair a little bit. Was it styled? No. That's not what she's there to do. I walked out with dry hair. I don't have a problem with that. I kept a hat in the car and a clip to put it in an updo if it didn't look manageable. It looked fine. I was 100% satisfied. I hope that if you're reading this review, you have the same type of experience. I thought it was worth every penny and I will be going back again.

My coworkers had gifted my wife and me a couples massage, which already made it feel special. When we got there, my wife and I were placed in separate rooms. I didn't mind that--I figured, okay, her time is her time and my time is mine. When the service started and she began working on my hair, I felt genuinely happy and relaxed... until she received a phone call. I understand completely that running a business comes with calls, but answering them in the middle of a service--with wet hair and gloves on--broke the experience. I stayed quiet and kept to myself, trying to enjoy what time I had left. Then another client finished their session and excitedly expressed how amazing it was--no issue there, I was happy for them. But the loud conversations continued in the same space where people were actively receiving massages. It felt disruptive. The staff assisting that client could have easily stepped aside to continue talking elsewhere. At that point, I was already struggling to relax. Then it happened again--another phone call. Gloves off, more time lost. I honestly thought she would make up for the interruption, but once the timer ended, she simply said she was done. I left feeling disappointed and unsatisfied. What was meant to be a relaxing, thoughtful gift turned into an experience that felt rushed and unprofessional.
