O M G What a wonderful and DREAMY massage for this curious first timer! I discovered this uniquely named (your feet are like roots to trees!) merchant while dining at Salad House in this same killer strip. Other than the weird smell upon entry, everything was stellar! I had an amazing body and foot combo massage for only $45! I asked for medium pressure and it was absolutely that and perfect! This little young lady was strong and thoroughly massaged and relaxed me - bliss that I did not want to end! Now, you are in a big room with other patrons but you are completely clothed and covered with light weight blankets. Not a deterrent for me, but it may be for others. Best massage we ever had yet. They were very nice and accommodating. They took us right back on a Friday night and we did the couples session. I cannot say enough good things about this place. The prices are reasonable. The massage therapists are all very courteous, though their English isn't great - the person upfront always asks what level of pressure you want and you tell them a number 1-4. I have never had a bad massage at this place. My favourite part is that for most of the massages on their menu, ones that don't include oil and are fully clothed, they will soak your feet while working on the front of your body. It's just so nice. Is it the prettiest place? No. but this place is nonetheless a wonderful escape. read more

I have been to this locations several times over the past few years with no issues. I am not the type to leave a negative review but I do have to share my most recent experience. We had an appointment and were taken back right on time. I enjoy a deep tissue massage and I like that they have you choose a pressure level 1-4 being max. I had explicitly explained I wanted an upper body only, no legs or feet. I had chosen a level 3 pressure as level 4 left me bruised and swollen the last time. The gentleman that was my masseuse appeared to be sick as he sniffled and continued to clear his throat the entire 60min service. The pressure was unbearably painful (level 5+), my eyes were literally watering :( I asked him several times to lighten the pressure but due to the language barrier he must have not understood what I said. He proceeded to do a full body massage and when I said "no legs or feet please" he giggled confirming he did not understand what i said. Even the foot massage was painful. The massage ended with a strong pressure facial massage (this was a first for me there) and he used a strong perfume smelling lotion (i doubt it was meant for a face) which i would have never used on my face or neck. I did let the front desk person know of my experience this time which she replied, " next time i do it for you, not him". read more

I visited Footy Rooty for the second time today. I get the combination foot & body massage (one hour) and get an amazing massage. The foot massage alone was great. Warning, BAD BEYOND TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. There is a language barrier, that's not the issue. For massage purists you'll be turned off there is a minor must smell when you walk in. The sheets on the beds are clean-ish, but they are weathered and outdated. The music is a record on repeat that at a certain time it stops and there's a pause before it gets going again. With the language barrier, you will have an issue communicating pressure levels. Manager will walk in during your massage to ask questions how you are doing, but it's slightly intrusive. I fought through it all the massage it self actually ended up being solid. I'd say 6.5/10. I got a recommendation from. Friend to come here, and because of the rec I decided to give them another try. Well jokes on me. I had an appt in advance. They didn't follow through on the appointment time, and didn't honor it as if he wasn't written in their book. My wife even showed the appointment card. Of course I couldn't communicate the situation because of the barrier. It was a gift for my wife. 5 people they took before her, even though she had a scheduled appointment and she just walked out. Prayerfully we didn't pay in advance. Basically you get what you pay for, fool me once......shame on me. I fell for the banana in the tailpipe and decided to go again. Hit it miss place. Sometimes I get great massage and other times it sucks. Huge language barrier. Have found some areas not exactly clean. Had a massage and there was a half drank water bottle under the table. They do not change out the blankets and not sure how often they are washed. read more

I had tweaked my back on Saturday and by Monday I knew I needed some help. I had seen Facebook ads and had driven by the Cherry Hill location so I checked to see if they took walk-ins. I had actually wanted reflexology and a one hour back massage, but there were multiple appointments booked that started shortly after my arrival. I was only able to get 30 minutes for my back, and no reflexology this time. I didn't get the name of the person who worked on my back, but she worked wonders, and my relief is amazing. I will definitely go back, and recommend it to my friends. read more
