    Beautiful Cherry Grove pier sunrise

Absolutely love this pier! Our children spend hours fishing here everytime we stay! Absolutely beautiful view and fun for the entire family!

I was a little put off by the $3 entrance fee but once I got on the pier, I understood. It's very L-O-N-G, but sturdy and well maintained. We didn't fish, just wanted to walk. I'm so happy we did. The views were amazing!

Great little pier to walk out and watch people fishing! We saw tons of jellyfish and a gentleman caught a baby shark (which he threw back)! They have a restaurant which seats indoor and outdoor. They serve alcohol too. The gift shop sells souvenirs and bait for fishing, t-shirts, etc!

The pier is lovely, however... you need to pay admission to the pier and you also pay per pole to fish. The gentlemen who run the bait shop/gift shop aren't all that friendly. The ladies room is a single and there is always a wait.

Do not bother coming here the parking was outrageous. The staff was exceptionally rude in the parking area.

The Cherry Grove Pier is a nice place to chill, fish and pass the time. The view is incredible. 8 bucks parking is a little high. 2 bucks for pier access is great. Would recommend to anyone.

Unfortunately, this pier is privately owned and not owned by the city or state. Because of this, the owners can charge 2$ per person (free for the wee ones) to walk out to the end and come back. If you are a fisher, this may be a good deal for you. They do rent poles and have snacks, so it is not completely a wash. A nice view, but if you aren't fishing, that is about it.

It's always nice to walk to pier. You get a great views on both sides of the beach and the hotels. Parking is $8 but it pays for your walk on the pier when you give your parking pass to the staff member inside. You will pass fisherman and other visitors on the pier walk through to the end. There's places to sit at the end of the pier at the bottom. Scratch your name and love one's name into the wood to make a memorable experience.

We are here in October every year. We love it! It's a great place to visit! #tigershark

This one was a refreshing break from mini golf and arcades and fun for both kids and adults. We had a pretty large group and some did the zip line course and some braved the adventure park (aka ropes course). We had lots and lots of fun, overcame some anxiety, and had a few sore muscles to show off our achievements. I also owe a big shout out to George, who was amazingly patient with my crew and helped coordinate the outing so that we all started/finished around the same times. I also heard from the kids that their guides were fantastic. They were especially impressed that they remembered every single person's name for an event that lasts only a few hours.

The zip lines were very fun, and all three guides took every measure to ensure our safety, creating a good sense of trust. We all felt like a group of friends by the end of our tour. They also take photos at the beginning, middle, and end of the tour with specific spots for photo ops which I truly appreciate! (You do have to pay for the photos.) I will absolutely recommend The Swamp Park to friends and family! We plan to come back and try the ATV tour next!

I went for my first time today and it was amazing the arcade is huge and the go-karts tracks were really cool. The only part that took forever and was the worst part is the crowded ness of the go-karts and that some family thought their 10-year-old daughter could drive a double seater, when in the rules it literally says "Must be 16 with a driver license." K1 Speed: Inaccurate Height Sign -- We Have the Photos to Prove It…read moreI'm not one to leave negative reviews, but what happened at K1 Speed warrants a warning for other families -- and we have photographic proof. K1 Speed's posted minimum height for Junior racing is 48". My son is exactly 48". We made the trip specifically because he qualifies. What we discovered on arrival is that K1 Speed's own height measurement sign is wrong by 2 inches. We brought a tape measure and documented it on the spot. In our photos, you can clearly see that the line labeled "48"" on their sign actually sits at the 50" mark on a standard tape measure. Their sign has been mounted or printed incorrectly -- meaning children who are a legitimate 48" are being turned away based on a miscalibrated sign. My son sat in the kart. He could reach the pedals. There was no functional or safety reason to exclude him. Yet staff still refused to let him race, citing the sign -- the very sign we had just proven was inaccurate. We showed staff the photos. No resolution. No apology. No willingness to escalate or problem-solve. The staff was very nice, but unfortunately unable to help. K1 Speed, this is not a minor mix-up. Families are planning trips around your stated requirements, and your measurement tool is provably wrong. Fix the sign, and train your staff to handle situations where your own equipment is at fault. Photos attached. The tape measure doesn't lie. #k1speed PS we were able to go to another place that had an accurate 48" measurement and all was all good.
