I had a lot of tension in my lower back prior to the massage and now I'm like "what tension?!" The massage was very relaxing, he really knows what he's doing. After the massage, I showered in the private shower (I think he said each room has one, but don't quote me). When I went upstairs to pay, the handsome receptionist gave me 20% off because it was my first time and because they recently opened. I would have paid full price, so I went ahead and booked my next appointment, for two weeks out. I highly recommend this place for any gay (or straight) man, looking to have a relaxing and therapeutic massage experience. The staff is very friendly and assertive, not to mention HOT! I may try out another masseur next time, we'll see. But Constantine is definitely worth every penny. 5 stars Escape!!!

Let's be real - Graceful Services is your typical hole-in-the-wall massage spot. It's pretty easy…read moreto miss this spot if you're just casually walking down the street, but if you find it, consider yourself lucky. BEWARE - If you're looking for a luxurious massage spot with a spa-Iike look and feel, and top of the line customer service, don't waste your time coming here. This place is a no frills establishment. Having said that, this place definitely meets your massage and well-being needs, and their pricing is more than reasonable. You will definitely not find a place in East Midtown that will charge you a 60-minute massage for $55! Be aware though that all their price points are based on CASH payments only. Expect to pay a slight premium if you're using a credit card as your form of tender. The massage therapists are excellent. Worth every penny. They perform thorough work and use their hands and elbows to do more deeper tissue massages. Don't get scared if they climb on top of your massage bed! Massage rooms look a bit dingy, but again, if look and feel doesn't bother you, then you'll be fine coming here. Rooms are always clean. A couple of things to note - the place does lack customer service. Because the majority of the staff is of Chinese descent, I think the language barrier plays into their low quality customer service. Keep it strictly transactional. Their scheduling is very flexible though. Same day appointments are almost always possible. Also, I would recommend engaging in simple conversation with your massage therapist. They are willing to help, but would advise sticking to very simple language or point to the area of your body where you would like them to focus their attention on. I've been coming here for about 5 years now and up until now, I have been very satisfied every time. I would recommend this place to anyone who wants to get a very good massage for an extremely good price.

The massage wasn't very ahhh soothing, maybe it was too light because I passed out for about half my massage. Did it work out the kinks in my back? Nope. Was it an ok experience for how much I'm paying? Sure, but I wouldn't come back here, as there are many other similar massage places to check out.

I gave the name of the therapist I booked with to the receptionist, who I'm pretty sure is one of the managers. When I got there, the therapist introduced himself by the name of the person I booked with. I came to find out after looking at the Instagram page that the person who gave me my massage was someone different with their name clearly labeled in the post. So both the person at the desk and the therapist lied to Me about who they were which made no sense. On top of that, the therapist did not listen to some of the requests I asked him to like to avoid certain areas. Safe to say I had a bad experience overall, nobody should be deceived like this.

I've been going here for a few months now. Needed a manicure before a client meeting one day and…read moreeven tho I usually do one like once a month or once every two months I didn't have the time to fix chipped nail polish so I ran over here during my lunch hour. Service here is impeccable. They are thoughtful, kind, the ambiance and feel of this place is amazingly peaceful and it's super duper clean. All the things you need in a spa. They've even got some sort of sound proofing thing going on because whenever I've come here there hasn't been traffic noise - it's truly a peaceful oasis in an otherwise frantically crowded neighborhood. That being said, I've now come here a few times. My manicure have always been ooookaaaaaay. But I return because it's a wonderful experience. You lie down, there are comfy pillows, almost an eerie silence with very calming music playing overhead and it always smells lovely. It's a great way to spend a lunch hour and kind of recharge your batteries after a rough morning. This past visit (probably like my 5th or 6th - I don't always remember to check in) my manicure really wasn't okay. It was bad. I hate having to do things like ask for the nail file and file my own nail after someone makes it significantly shorter and files it into a crooked square shape...when I try to keep my nails a nice medium length (rather than short :-/) and I was clear about wanting a more rounded square. I had to fix a few after I was done...I also had to ask for my (very attentive) nail tech to paint the sides where she would miss a lot of my nail...having to fix some left some nails darker than others. She also did one coat of the deep blood red polish I chose and then a top coat. Any polish, especially darker colors require a minimum of 2 coats. This is pretty common nail polish knowledge. She was so nice and I was nice about it but after paying and getting to my office I was pretty horrified at how my nails looked. They were all really weird. Lots of marks, lots of unnecessary thickness, some air bubbles - I was pretty upset. There's also usually a brief complimentary back rub done afterwards which is a really nice treat and something I got used to the previous times I've come here which makes the experience worth coming back for considering every mani I've had here has been ooookay. Yesterday's was not okay. There are photos. Today I've got two nail polishes where the polish has chipped from just typing at work...my normal Astoria spot manicures generally last me 3 weeks. I'll probably return sometime for a couples massage or something as I mentioned my fondness for this place to my husband, but I don't know if I'd come back for another manicure. I don't do my nails that often and I need consistency...plus it hurts to spend money on something that's meant to treat myself and the final result is something I could have done to myself 100% better. I felt like I had to kind of hide my hands during my client meeting. Again, I've had good experiences here and not let frustrated so 3 stars for A okay. Ooookaaaay.

The entire team went ABOVE and BEYOND to make my second experience pristine! They were apologetic and accommodating. I truly understand that things happen and my skin did not agree with something, but their willingness to correct it trumps my flare up. My return was met with concern and an eagerness to provide excellent care. I can't stress how much they apologized and it felt so sincere. Sometimes you get poor service and people make excuses or worse than that, don't acknowledge your concern at all, but that was definitely not the case here. I appreciate Mi Ra for being so sweet and supportive & big shout out to the manager, Sung for truly caring about my experience! Thank you guys again!!! In a few days my face will be better. I tried to check this with the front desk in the start but I was told to not worry about it until the end. Apparently because I booked 90 minute sessions in the past on my card, those apparently only counted as 60 minutes for the purposes of the card. The attitude of the lady at the front desk made me feel belittled and ruined the experience. Worse yet, after I left and checked the time, I realized I only got 60 minutes. Not only did we have to deal with the FDNY, a traffic situation which our car presented, angry commuters, and a hefty tow price, we were charged for a service that was not provided due to an emergency situation. The manager on duty, was much more professional than the initial associate who responded. While, we understand we were no shows, we were dealing with an unforseen situation. I am so disappointed at Oasis-we used to take our Mother there for many years. The lack of human understanding towards people who are literally dealing with an emergency is so disappointing after having been customers of Oasis for so many years.
