First of all I am new to the area I went in with my boyfriend for his consulation the dentist did not know I was an RDA. We went in, they took a panorex and cbct and he did an oral exam. He then sat my boyfriend up, acknowledged us both and explained what his diagnosis was, what the options were, and what his reccomendation was. My boyfriend was given price quotes for all options. And he felt no pressure. I can tell you that I know the exact cost that these proceedures would have cost and his prices are cheap. Super clean office and nice friendly staff, if I liked working in oral surgery I would have begged this surgeon for a job. It has now been a few days after my boyfriends surgery and everything is going great. What a wonderful experience. Thank you Dr. THOMPSON. I wish more dentists were like you. :)

In addition to this, the environment is so welcoming, and you feel like your teeth are in good hands. Furthermore, Dr. Martin is the best! He is so friendly and easy to talk to. Thank you to Dr. Martin's team for always giving me great care!

We've been seeing Dr. Martin for about 20 years and have been extremely pleased with his excellent…read moreskills as well as his warm, caring personality and great sense of humor. When he stopped taking dental insurance I was concerned about the cost due to my soft enamel and usual dental work needed, so we briefly had work done by another dentist who was good; but it was very hard not to keep comparing him to Dr. Martin. So, we're back and willing to pay for the confidence we have in knowing we're getting the highest quality of materials in crowns with a minimum of visits (crowns are done in his office the same day - no temporary crown needed) and expert, conservative care. His staff are exceptional as well, and they submit the paperwork to our insurance company on our behalf for reimbursement. His office is very clean, well maintained, and beautiful as well.

I would encourage anyone considering Dr. State's group of offices to look elsewhere. First, the…read moretruth is that Dr. State has been out on some kind of medical leave from the office for this entire year and is not expected back at least during 2026. So, for all intents and purposes, you're not going to be getting the care of Dr. State. I spoke with the staff today and confronted them about what I consider to be dishonesty in how they are handling Dr. State's absence. I was told 'We haven't been told that he is not returning.' In my view, this is just a way they can avoid lying about the situation, when I suspect that there is by now little chance he will return. I first started going to this office because Dr. State was highly recommended to me. And I genuinely liked his work and patient interaction. Now, they have a replacement Periodontist, who in my opinion is nowhere near as skilled as Dr. State. That doctor performed some work on me (just a deep cleaning), and it was not a good experience. If and when I need further periodontal work in the future, I would *not* trust that replacement doctor to perform it. Unfortunately, my best guess is that Dr. State will not be returning, and so I am going to find another provider. One more thing: I had a regular cleaning scheduled for this week. I received a text on Monday informing me that I had reached the time threshold whereby if I cancelled my appointment, I could incur a cancellation charge. That's standard for dental offices, and it was fine. Yet then, today, one day before the appointment, I get a call that said my usual hygienist had quit the firm a few days ago (I wonder if she quit because of the whole situation at the office). I was told they couldn't find a replacement hygienist and asked if I wanted to reschedule. I find it ironic that they can just cancel the appointment with no repercussions, but if I had cancelled, I likely would have been charged some kind of fee. Regardless, this was the last straw for me. I have had to deal with a replacement periodontist, and they want me to deal with a replacement hygienist. So I am going to find an entire replacement office and take my business and dental care there. I would suggest you do the same.

They are the first office that I have even known of that books as early as they do, which is ideal if you don't want an appointment looming over your day. I had two crowns done, which is a pretty significant procedure. Dr Sandhu and her assistant Grace were both amazing in their work. I got a kick out of watching the synergy as they went to town on my grill. I wasn't sure of what to expect but turned out that it was absolutely painless. I actually think I might prefer this procedure to a filling but that's neither here nor there. Dr Sandhu and her staff are the epitome of compassionate and what more could you ask for in a dentist's office? Which is often one of the most dreaded scenarios! Once you are in the habit of going, your anxiety will dissipate. I no longer associate going to the dentist with dread! How 'bout that!? Love seeing Brittany on the way in and touching base with Rachel on the way out. Excellent service by an excellent and compassionate team. Kudos!

The other, was a Yelp Duchess "crown" for checking-in the most at Fuiks and Matsushino, DDS. Quite appropros and absolutely hilarious! Although I'm really not happy about needing my first crown due to a cracked tooth. Since I picked up two crowns and it's been a couple of years, I thought I'd share that I still recommend Jason Matsushino, DDS for your dental needs. The customer service is great. They are all polite, calm, professional and reassuring. I was squeezed in for my cleaning and exam due to a cancelation. And was fit in with short notice to fill my cavity and "fit me with my crown" due to urgency in my situation. Dr. Matsushino seems to have done a great job preparing the crown and filing the tooth that touches it. I don't know if I received a traditional crown or a porcelain crowns using CEREC CAD/CAM technology. I know that he prepared it in front of me using a 3D imaging software. It was made FAST within 10 minutes. Don't let me think about that - it is a little unnerving really. Lots of "fast" items are really no good - fast food, fast weight loss, eating fast, and the dubious fasting. I was given the choice of same color as my current grill, or a shade lighter. I could have likely chosen darker or brighter, but we go with practical. I still had another problem he wasn't able to identify. Probably why I didn't get a chance to be seen again later that day or the next day. I just hope that the problem doesn't rear its ugly head during a period of being stuck with HMO dental insurance. I've had nightmares with the local HMO dental offices. My oral care is very important to me. Anyhow, if you need a dentist, visit Dr. Matsushino and you'll be glad you did. They have lean hours. Closed Wednesdays and Fridays. They're in contract with Delta Dental. They'll accept other PPO plans, but they'll be out-of-network. Be aware of your costs if using any insurance!

The front office staff, dental assistants, and Dr. Andre Barakat, were all so sweet, and gentle. They have brand new equipment, and relaxing scenes playing on a TV. Dr. Andre patiently talked me through everything. His demeanor is very calming and he got the offending tooth out in about 30 minutes, with no pain. (He numbs your gums first, so you never even feel the Novocain shot.) The pre-procedure panic, was replaced with relief and gratitude for their patience and kindness, and I couldn't stop myself from asking the dental assistant if I could give her a hug. She said yes, but in addition to being a big baby, I'm also a spazz, and I tripped over a little trash can next to the chair. So between that, and the lingering high emotions from being scared, I don't know if I ever did hug her. LOL. (I would have run around the office hugging everyone, but I had embarrassed myself enough for one day, and promptly went home.) As soon as I got home, I took OTC pain meds, figuring I better get ahead of things before the Novocain wore off. I went to bed, woke up the next morning and didn't need any pain relievers at all.
