Small little local boozer located a short distance form the Kings Road. In a quiet little residential road, people tend to stand outside during the evening and wind down after work over a few glasses of whatever they fancy. A Young's pub which aren't normally for me but this one is good enough for what it is. A local pub for the locals. Gastro food is pleasant enough with the menu changing daily, there are better eateries in the area, so they have work to do if they want to pinch some of your money. Don't expect too much and you won't be disappointed, might be worth popping in on the way somewhere else or after a trudge down the Kings Road shopping. I have visited this pub a few times and the bar staff whilst efficient don't really make any effort to make you feel welcome, What more can I say ? O.K. - mediocre

Great service, diverse menu, with tasty food. We enjoyed the ambiance. The desserts were fantastic. Recommend the Eaton mess

Cromwell Tavern! I think I'll joke about this place for the rest of my life. It's at the bottom of a Holiday Inn, or at least, it appeared to be that way, and was a strange mish-mash of a pub. I think it was trying to feel like it was really old, yet it had the strangest collection of furniture and decor. We had a blast making fun of this tavern. Tables were laid out in sort of a weird fashion and at first we were really close to this group of 20 somethings that were fairly drunk and really obnoxious and a woman who was sitting by herself at a table for 6 who was reading a book while her food sat off to the side. The drunk group left and it got nice and quiet and so did the woman who had a better table than we did so we took her table. Nothing we drank was anything we'd ever come back for. There are way too many good pubs in London. Unless everything else is closed and this is the only option, go elsewhere!

Plenty of seating options and if you want to make it a working lunch, there's outlets nearby to grab some juice while you get some...juice. GF'ers, try the Old Mout Cider - very refreshing. The food looked (and smelled) good but it was only liquid libations for us. Great staff, everyone was friendly. Not sure what the thing about hotel guests only is, I'm sure there were other people here and they weren't checking for room keys.

We came by to just take pictures to send to them but decided to pop in for drinks and lunch. It was 12:30 and we were hungry from walking around all morning. We sat outside on the patio out front. It had a reserved sign on the table but the hostess said we can have the table. It was a hot day with maybe the 3rd or 4th heat wave of the summer! We wanted to sit outside but in the shade. The table they gave us was perfect! The pints and cocktails were a perfect start. We ordered: Crab malfade £20 Chicken and Parm Ham Schnitzel £20.50 Fish & Chips £22.50 Only the crab malfade was good. The rest of the meals were not great but we were hungry so we ate them. Still giving them a 4 stars for great ambiance and service. Definitely more of a drinks spot.

The atmosphere is warm and inviting, making it a great spot for a casual pint or a relaxed meal. The food is solid--nothing overly fancy, but it delivers on classic pub flavors. Service was friendly and quick, even when the place got busy. Whether you're grabbing a drink with friends or looking for a cozy pub experience, this is a solid choice. Would definitely return!
