The filling part of the wonton was CHEWY in a "how long is this going to take to chew" kind of way... never ending. Really disappointed. 2) Pork Spring Rolls - excellent. No notes. 3) Shanghai Noodles - tasky, wouldn't have minded a bit more veg and meat, but it's a noodle dish, not a meat dish. For my taste, a bit salty, but I'm sure for the majority of the planet, it's just fine. 4) Ginger Beef - delicious taste, beef still tender, but coating didn't have that "bite". Really just soft coating. But really, really flavourful. 5) Chicken Fried Rice - not so much fried as fluffy rice with a few bits of veg and chicken. Not much different that a regular boiled rice. Again - end of day order, may have been my fault. Overall - food seemed fresh, portions were great... Just lacking in execution. As for the food, it was the most absolutely wonderful and authentic Thai I have ever had. Every dish was flavourful, fairly priced, and came in a huge portion! We have never gotten a single bad thing there (and we experiment often), and we have never left without takeout containers full to the brim. The leftovers are always amazing, too. I could go on and on about how much I love this restaurant, truly. What a lovely place to dine in St Albert that I wish I had discovered so much sooner! If you're interested in what to try, my favourites are the Pad Thai with chicken, or the Pad See Eiw with chicken or tofu. I'm not a beef lover, but they make it quite well there I will say. The curries are quite good but some of them get fairly spicy, at least for me. The peanut curry is definitely my favourite!
