So when my buddies over at CTbites wrote about this new burger I knew I had to try it. The Bordelaise Burger at Bounty is outstanding. Let's start with the meat, full of deep rich flavor and juicy, and then it was grilled to a perfect medium-rare. It was next topped with melted Gruyere cheese, which added a touch of creamy nuttiness. The next ingredient was a handful of arugula. The slight pepperiness of the arugula was a fantastic addition and also contributed a little crunch. The caramelized onions were sweet, adding just a touch of sweet back-notes and then the Malbec butter kicked in with a bold earthiness and a little pungency. This was a burger filled with tons of flavor and textures. CTB 4There will be some detractors. It is priced at $12, and some may think this is expensive for a burger served from a food truck, others may criticize its size, I would guess the burger was 5 ounces pre-cooked, others may want fries included at this price. All fair statements, but for one of the best burgers I have eaten in a while, easily the best burger I have eaten from a food truck, I will gladly return and try some of the other combinations.

Cristine and her team were extremely accommodating to everyone's needs. We originally ordered the truck for 55 people/burgers, but everyone loved the burgers so much that we ordered nearly 30 burgers more than expected. The best part? The team was prepped and accommodate everyone's extra orders, so no-one went hungry. In addition to the great service the burgers were extremely tasty and everyone in the party, from vegans to meat-lovers was extremely happy with the burgers, fries, and dogs. Will definitely keep in mind for the next company party and would wholeheartedly recommend to anyone who is looking for a fun and delicious way to spice up any event!

The story goes Martha Stewart pulled up so she could try a couple of the garnishes, liked what she tasted and invited Owner Mike to participate in a hot dog segment of her show. Today, Chez Lenard has a decades old cart on Main Street and two additional carts for catering or events. I ordered Le Hot Dog Choucroute Alsacienne (which has sauerkraut and a high quality Dijon Mustard) and Le Hot Dog Epicie Garniture Suisse (which boasts a traditional cheese fondue and a horseradish sauce). After a bit of research, these seemed like the most classic Chez Lenard toppings. The toppings were all very tasty. Chez Lenard uses Hebrew National dogs which are ready in a steam bath when you order. Among the best known and loved CTSpots, this is probably my least favorite combo of dog selection and cooking technique. There's no snap and it has one of the softer textures you'll find. I understand that one of the movable carts has a grill. The buns are Martin's potato rolls, which are fine. Chez Lenard enjoys an important history in Ridgefield. They've been a source of jobs for young adults. A lot of people have been going there for a long time because downtown Ridgefield is a cool place to visit. Somebody who lives closer to Ridgefield might give it a bit of a bump because it's been an important pat of their lives. Being a visitor, I can only go by the dog. 4.5 Stars for the toppings. 3.5 Stars for the dog itself. 4 Stars overall

We ordered two hot dogs, two fries, and a currywurst from their Oktoberfest menu. After about a 40-minute wait (as noted in the app), the food came out. The currywurst looked good but was disappointing - more like sliced hot dogs in ketchup than anything with real curry flavor. My husband, who lived in Berlin for 10 years, was especially let down. The fries were crispy and plentiful, but the hot dog buns were burnt. When I politely asked for replacements (since I couldn't give them to my child), the cook seemed annoyed but eventually gave us new toasted buns.
