On my wedding day, she served me soup with dairy in it, despite the fact that she knew full well that both the groom and I had a dairy allergy. Fortunately, at the first bite, I was able to taste that there was something off in the soup and sent one of her staff back to the catering tent to check with her. I was so outraged -- that could have completely ruined my wedding day! Throughout the year I spent working with her to plan the wedding menu, her disregard for instructions on food restrictions was a constant source of frustration and concern, particularly as my sister has a life-threatening allergy to nuts. It seemed that my now-husband and I could never get a draft of the wedding menu without the inclusion of something we had specifically asked her not to serve. In terms of the execution of the dining service at the wedding --or the taste of the food itself--everything was great. However, I found working with Jaime one of the more stressful parts of wedding planning and, as I almost spent my wedding in severe gastric distress because of her, I can't give her more than a two-star rating.

They were able to accommodate my budget, they were responsive to emails/calls/requests to meet, they worked closely with the reception site and rental company, and their food is AMAZING! For hors d'ouvres we went with the quiche, veggie eggroll, and bacon wrapped scallops. For dinner we went with the roasted pear and goat cheese salad, seafood paella (YUM), lemon chicken, and portabello mushroom with sides of veggies. I thought it was all delicious, as did my husband and guests. I will definitely use TLC again if I have another event on the Vineyard!!!

Jessica and Taylor were fantastic to work with. They were so helpful in guiding us when we were ready for each step and no request was too much. We had amazing paella at our reception and our guests were like hungry seagulls it disappeared so fast. I had to see photos of it from guests because I didn't get to see how gorgeous the display was. Also highly recommend the beef tenderloin with chimmichuri sauce, cod with beure blanc sauce, tabbouleh, lemonade as a cold drink station. Really everything we asked for was awesome. We had incredibly friendly and professional catering staff, bartender, and Jessica herself was our day-of person who checked in tactfully throughout the night and even made sure I got a plate of food from my now husband. Made a last-minute online inquiry on a Friday afternoon to see if they had "room at the inn" the…read morefollowing day - got a response back within an hour from owner Larry who said he had one room left for us to stay, and knocked off a percentage of the cost since it was a last-minute booking. My husband and I were elated. The owners were wonderful and we had a relaxing stay in their beautiful home. We were greeted by Larry in the morning for breakfast, who prepared some delicious blueberry pancakes for us and we enjoyed great conversation with he and his wife and the rest of the B&B guests. Couldn't have asked for a better stay for our first trip to Martha's Vineyard. We'll be back!

I contacted several caterers for a small gathering, but one thing let me know this catering company was THE ONE: When I called to get a quote, the owner - on his own accord - physically visited the site to get the lay of the land before I even signed the contract. He stayed in contact with me throughout the ENTIRE process and handled every curve ball with a smile. To boot, the services were reasonably priced. We began with the goal of having a clam bake. Then, I considered the fact some people might be allergic to shell fish. Little Rock allowed me to have a hybrid menu to appease all my guests. They came from far and wide, from Memphis to India to China to Chicago and New York. I knew I had a tough crowd that has eaten at some of the best restaurants across the globe. Our experience with Little Rock was absolutely PERFECT, from my first phone call to the last morsel I put in my mouth. The first course was clam chowder. Really?! The clam chowder was out of this wooooorld!!! Every single guest I spoke with commented on its deliciousness. My guests said the clam bake was also absolutely perfectly delicious and that they were stuffed after the meal because the plate was so full of food. We also got a beef tenderloin option, which melted in your mouth. The BBQ chicken option was stupendous. Peter and his wife brought a family feel to my reception, but their delivery was beyond professional. When I called Peter after the event, he said he enjoyed our work together, met wonderful people throughout the day and that he wished the hubby and me a lifetime of bliss. My wife and I stayed here for our first trip to the Island. We really liked our "little apartment"…read moreset up. We had an upstairs unit that has its own private entrance. There are two rooms, a living room, a kitchen and a clean bathroom that was a bit tiny, but very serviceable. Everything was clean and tidy upon our arrival. The service was fine. We never tried the breakfast, so I can't help you there. The location was 10 to 12 minutes of walking from Main St, which for us made it very convenient. We would stay here again. And we may on our next trip to the Island.

My wife and I were so glad it was free because if we paid, it would have been robbery. The location is not bad, sittng on top of the hill from the downtown area of Vineyard Haven and what ever you do, dont take a cab from the ferry. We took one and we could have walked and it was a rip off and they got lost to boot. The place is a regular under construction suburban house with a pool but something out of the 1970's with shabby interiors and just an all around mess of an inside. The inn keeper tries to hide the shabby quality but the furnishings are dated and old and falling apart. The set up is a disarray of rooms and apartments that are furnished with cheap furnitiure and rugs and uncomfrotable beds. The rooms were filthy and the bathrooms were nasty. The steet it sits on is quiet and but is tucked a ways back. The breakfast served was trying to be good but was lacking quality. the place really should close down and not boast being a 5 star bed and breakfast because it is far from it. There are so many places to stay on this island, if you are going to spend the money, you can do a lot better than this spot. It is a downright rip off for the quality. Skip it.
