Pulled up at Taco City at 11pm high on the day and ready to eat. We got there and the menu items looked delicious. They did not disappoint. They took my order with kindness and smiles. I ordered a loaded taco plate. My friends got the ramen burrito, barria ramen, the hot Cheetos burrito, and a shrimp taco. They were ALL good. Great spice level and the food was hot and quick. I found this place from an instagram video and figured it was worth trying out, I'm very happy to say it did not disappoint! When we arrived, we talked to the owner himself at the kitchen and he was just having the biggest smile. You could see he was genuinely happy to be there and to have folks stopping by, his mood brightened the day for real! When it comes to the food, they have great birria options here. This place is incredible. I was in town with a friend for a board game convention and walked over from the hotel for a quick dinner. We loved it so much that we came back 3 nights in a row. The birria sandwich is one of the best sandwiches I've had in my life. The quesadillas and tacos were amazing as well. They make their own salsa and cook their birria for 12 hours and you can absolutely tell when you eat the food. The chef and the woman working the register remembered us each time we came back and were clearly passionate about their food. These are the kind of restaurants that we need more of. Just know that it's a small place so you can sit outside at a counter, but most people will probably get the food to go. I'd give the more than 5 stars if I could. The place is close to the court and they have enough parking for the location. They play good music and have limited seating. The wait can get long but it's worth the wait. They are friendly and patient when ordering. As for the food, it is delicious! Our favorite so far was the hot cheetoburrito. We also ordered the pizza and birriaquesadilla. All the food were great! I ordered the quesabierra which is a tortilla with cheese like a quesadilla with Birria and Chicken. I ordered the loaded lunch special and it came with refried beans, rice, and a soft drink/ water. There are only a few seats on an outside counter and three attached seats on the same counter. It wasn't bad though the counter is big. The rice was good, the beans had a slight sweet taste, with a few sprinkles of cheese on them, which was perfect as I'm not crazy about beans.
