Everything was handled through their online request for a quote and email. Responses were usually received within 24 hours. I never felt like I needed to pick up the phone and reassure myself that they were taking care of my request. The online quote form is very detailed and when I stated that the theme for my daughter's party was Lord of the Rings, they ran with it. The creativity shown in the menu was amazing. It made my daughter extremely happy from the start. Hannah definitely worked to keep the menu within our budget, offering suggestions on where we could tighten things. The week of the event, they were back in touch to finalize details and on the day of the event, Chloe showed up with the food at the designated time and was very professional and polite but also very approachable. She did an excellent job setting up and explaining all the dishes. Finally, the food! Absolutely amazing! The hits were the leaf-wrapped elven lembdas bread and Balin's spiced beef (brisket). The brisket was so tender it melted in your mouth. While those two were the standouts, the rest of the food certainly held its own and disappeared quickly. The staff was responsive, available and worked easily with my contact so I had guessed it would be fine. I was moved by the name and had expected freshness, goodness and quality. The venue he is connected with via Uptown is more of what my daughter wants for her wedding day. And so far - we, Jeff and I, are getting along swimmingly. The staff was helpful, courteous, and always had a smile. They were very attentive to our needs. When someone spilled a drink all over the floor and they cleaned it up very quickly. Also the quality of the food was great as we had fish and chicken which were cooked perfectly. They were up front with all of the billing and exactly what services they would provide. They followed our instructions to the letter. We also had some people at our event with allergies and they made sure they were helped out by making sure their food was safe. The event flow was great too. Also when we were out taking pictures in the hot sun, they offered us water and appetizers which was very thoughtful (we didn't ask them to do this). I was a nervous bride, but from the onset Dave reassured me and did his best in calming my nervous. He dealt with all the issues that arose at the venue, and on the wedding day he and his staff were attentive and very professional. The food (we had a sit down meal consisting of salmon and sirloin steak) was good and beautifully presented. We purchased their package deal which included the cake (Clara's Cakes) and photography (Lidia Miller's Photography). They both far exceed my exception. Our theme was love birds, so Clara designed a cake with shimmery silhouettes of kissing birds around the three tiers and big blossoms of sugar flowers as the topper. It was beautiful! Lidia (the photography) was a godsend! She handled the chaos of the day with a grace and calm. Initially my husband was a irritated because Lidia took so many pictures and had us pose very specifically for each one. At the end, however, we both agree that it was worth it, as we now have a beautiful documentation of our special day. So, if you are looking for a worry-free beautiful reception, this company will not disappoint you. I HIGHLY recommend!!!

As the event coordinator, I appreciated that Ceecho, Donal, and Johnny checked in with me throughout the event, quickly adjusted to the schedule changes, and were efficient and helpful throughout the set up and tear down process. There's one permanent BBQ place and 2 pop-up caterers on rotation/schedule. I'm feeling sluggish, BBQ is the last thing I want. But then the memories of my first Smoke Datt rib returns. It looked dry, but on that day I wanted BBQ, so dry or not I'm Fat Guy from the Spy Who Shagged Me. It was like yesterday when i went in for that bite but OH! Meat falling, tongue rejoicing. Teeth! Be gentle. This bone may look like bark (I'm exaggerating the appearance) but there was no bite. We've seen it from Columbia to Finksburg MD! This time we found them at an event in Savage Park in Savage MD, (Jun 2026), in a cluster of trucks gathered in a corner of the parking lot next to one of the fields in a little league tournament. We already had hot dogs before we saw the DMV truck, and we had no regrets, but also no room for more. But we love love these birria tacos. Tender, juicy, flavorful, with lots of consommé on the side for dunking. We got some to take home, and they reheated really well, losing none of the flavors or aromas, just losing some of the crispiness of the taco shell. They were a glorious mess! We got an order of flavorful shrimp tacos, too. Scrumptious! Generous! They had birria, chicken, shrimp, or veggie tacos or quesadillas or burritos or rice-bowls, loaded fries, even a birria grilled cheese, birria empanadas, or a birria or combo hoagie! That's like a week of comfort foods to choose from! Beverages include Jarritos, and they have churros for dessert with sipping chocolate. Where will we seem them next! They have tables set up if you don't want to take your food to go or eat in your car. The service is pretty quick. I might of waited ten minutes for my order of chicken tacos. I'm not a corn tortilla lover but however they make their tortillas have changed my mind. The first time tried them they had a crisp text to them. They reminded me of a soft chip. There is no gritty taste to them. The chicken is seasoned down! It's so tednder and flavorful. I liked the red and the green sauce. I just poured it all over everything. I'll try something else the next time I pass through.
