First visit here and definitely won't be my last! I love everything about this place from the food…read moreto the service. Chill atmosphere and everyone is friendly. Order at the counter and they bring the food to your table. You bus your own table. This is place is over the top delicious in more ways than one. You will not only get one of the best breakfasts you've ever had but you will also get one of the best cookies you've ever had! Do not skip the cookies! I don't care if you're full, get the cookies to go! Must try Breakfast isn't your ordinary diner food. They have created some fantastic omelette combinations. The homefries have a hint of rosemary and are very tasty. The shredded pork I had on my egg quesadilla was tender and delish. The pico was fresh and tasty. The green sauce also yummy Pancakes- 2 huge plate sized pancakes were some of the tastiest I've ever had. Yum! Kale, chorizo, cheese scramble - the bomb! The kale really made it. I am not a huge kale fan but in this I loved it! Came with homefries but no toast which was fine. Oatmeal cookie - best I've ever had Chocolate chip cookie- warm chewy delicious Chocolate chip walnut - even better Chocolate chip sea salt - over the top delicious People were coming in and buying a dozen cookies to go and I can see why. Drooling while I write this review and I will be back again next weekend!!! Get a cookie!

Been going here for about 4 years now since moving to the area. Consistently one of the best places…read moreto get a delicious, fresh and healthy bite in Fairfield County IMO. Parking is a pain, but it's in a historical area of Bridgeport, so there's not really much they can do about that. It's almost always busy and full of people studying, working or chatting, so expect a bit of a wait. Their lemonades are amazing in the summer and during fall and winter, their selection of hot chocolates and other holiday themed items are always a hit. The cookies and other pastries always sell out before I can even get any, which I think is a testament to how good they must be. My favorite sandwich is the Mikey T. Definitely hit this place up if you're in the mood for something fresh

Augusto's Deli is the real deal…read more I'm not a big fan of most of what Fairfield has to offer especially deli-wise, I'm comparing sandwiches to what I'd get in the Bronx or North Jersey. The standards are high. The minute I walked into Augusto's, I knew this place was different. It's a simple deli setup--sandwiches, drinks, hot food--but everything about it felt right. I ordered the Diablo and a San Pellegrino Limonata. While I was at the counter, one of the guys asked if I had been there before and what brought me in. After talking for a minute, I introduced myself and found out it was Augusto himself. He's from the Bronx--and it shows. This deli screams Bronx in the best possible way. I couldn't wait to eat the sandwich. I was taking bites before I even pulled out of the parking spot. It was exactly what I wanted-- mouth was screaming, hands down the best sandwich I've had in Fairfield County. If you want a real sandwich, don't waste your time going anywhere else. Go here. Easily the #1 sandwich shop in connecticut, I've been to all in the area. Seriously, go here or don't bother.

Friendly welcoming staff…read more We tried 3 sandwiches on grinders. The bread was below average. Just thick chewy white bread. No crunch. Not warmed. Pretty bad bread. little Louie: fair at best. Cutlets were okay. "Di Parma": healthy amount of prosciutto, good flavor combo. American comb: ample amount of meats. Good sandwich. Could use a couple of tables and chairs inside while waiting for your sandwich. Bread needs to improve! Service and staff bumped this review to 4. Sandwiches a 3.

I came to try the December special, the Duck the Halls: duck confit, sweet potato hash, arugula, 2…read moreeggs, and spicy aioli. Mine was not cut, not sure why but super tasty with tender duck meat! I also tried the pork belly bao buns: pork belly, picked onions and chimichurri and avocado. These were outstanding, with a nice crunch, a zippity do da from the picked onions and chimichurri, which was balanced by the smooth, silky avocado. Filling! And a cucumber lemonade to accompany.

The Very Good - 'tasty' is no lie. I got 'Pig' (Bacon, 2 over medium eggs, American, on a toasted…read moreparker house roll) 'Tasty' (Craft chorizo, 2 over medium eggs, cheddar, on a toasted parker house). - both breakfast sandwiches. Firstly, I have no idea who the Parkers are - let alone where they live, but whoever/wherever they are big fist bump on their rolls. What makes them so good? Butter. Just a little butter to crisp up the roll elevates these breakfast sandwiches. 5-start effort. The ok- service was friendly and helpful but took longer than I thought - especially based on the customer volume. Looked like a lot of hands in the kitchen but not super efficient back there. It wasn't a long wait- just a bit longer than I thought it should be for two breakfast sammies. It's a small spot. Clean, bright, some flavor. It was too nice out to eat inside. The yellow jackets thought so too. I had a few bites and left b/c I didn't want to deal with them. Overall, I'll be back. Fantastic breakfast sandwiches and looking forward to trying more things. I hadn't been to Black Rock in decades - love to see so many interesting looking spots open.

I popped in here since I was in the area and hungry ! First thing to mention is that it's cash only…read moreand take out only. There was a decent line on Saturday morning, but it went fast & the staff seems to have an excellent system to keep it flowing. I ordered a sausage egg & cheese w honey mustard on a roll not expecting anything incredible but it was actually one of the best I've ever had. The sausage was flavorful and seemed high quality. I also ordered a turkey hero which was good. Nice place. A lot of people seemed to call ahead so they could just pick up. I ordered at the counter and didn't have to wait long. Their iced coffee was also good

Went here for a quick breakfast the other day and stopped by this place after some insight. This…read moredeli has a lot of menu options that all looked pretty good and the service was quick. They're cash only but have an atm inside so shouldn't be an issue. We got the turkey club with fries and the breakfast sandwich. The club was okay and there was nothing wrong with it but may have been better with some cheese and more sauce. Fries were okay too. The club and fries did the job though. The breakfast sandwich I thought was good with perfect egg to meat ration and the amount of cheese was perfect! The roll it comes on is a good amount of bread for the sandwich but I enjoy that. You can also get it on a bagel of choice too if you wanted. Heard this was a staple for Fairfield and I can see why. It had good vibes, quick service, and good food. Definitely give it a shot.
