If you're looking for good food, amazing vibes, and a unique experience, this place is definitely worth visiting. From the moment I walked in, I loved the cozy atmosphere. The brunch was delicious, and I really enjoyed exploring the specialty wines and cheeses in their connecting shop. I had such a great time and can already see myself coming back to try more from the menu. Make sure you get the chicken and waffles and clothes-line bacon, and croque madame. My faves .

Cheesetique is a true neighborhood gem and perfect for a date night! The atmosphere is so welcoming and lively - the staff made us feel right at home. I loved their wine flight, which at $20 for generous pours was such a good deal. They also feature savory crowd pleasers such as cheese boards (customizable) and fondue (generous servings, definitely enough for 4 people!). They even have a wine and cheese shop connected to the restaurant which features cheeses from around the world, and an impressive wine collection - the perfect stop for hosting. You even get 10% off at the shop after you dine in! Can't wait to return to try their happy hour.

When it comes to all things cheese, you can't go wrong at this place. This woman owned business has shop stocked with any type of cheese that you can think of. My personal favorite is the array of blue cheeses that they have. During my visit I tried the autumn menu which had some delicious dishes such as the Sicilian salmon and the French soup.

One of my favorite places in Del Ray. The service is usually very good and the food selections are outstanding. We were fortunate to be seated in the back room which felt like a private experience as we were the only ones. The back room features a long wall of wine bottles, dark walls and a video screen showing art work. The lighting is low which adds to the setting. We shared the fondue which came with pieces of bread, grapes and pickles. The cheese in the fondue pot was a blend that was peppery. The goat cheese and pear salad is not to be missed. Connected to the restaurant is a cheese shop that has a great selection of cheese and some meats. Be sure to visit. Since we dined at the restaurant, the cheese shop gave us a 10% discount.

Balanced selection of beverages. Fun cheese options for the charcuterie board. This spot has a dining side and retail side. In the heart of Del Ray, it's a fun option for day drinking and snacks. I had a glass of the only blanc de blanc they serve, it was not memorable but drinkable. Not busy on a Saturday mid afternoon. Very chill atmosphere and knowledgeable staff. I will come back. Bonus - mini chocolate chips come with the check, fun touch.

I have always loved this place but we moved away from the area awhile back. Flew into town to visit family and stopped through. Participated in a cheese tasting contest on the retail side and ordered a charcuterie board and some drinks on the restaurant side. Everything was so good and we even left with a few small chunks of cheese to take back with us. Added bonus: I won a $25 gift card from the contest!

A testimonial to this Restaurant/Wine/Cheese Store. This was one of my FAVORITE places to eat when we lived in Alexandria, VA back in 2010-2013! It was my special splurge and we adored their Grown Up Grilled Cheese Sandwich. Now this is not your ordinary one, it is huge, amazingly CRISPY and three cheeses. The fact that they are STILL HERE, the food tastes as good as I remember it, well...they must be doing something right. It was my birthday the other week and we decided to drive from Frederick MD and stay the weekend in Old Town, and revisit my favorite places. Cheesetique did not disappoint and they treated me very well on my special day! Thank you! Everyone, please visit them and keep them in business for another decade+!!!! Much love for this little boutique restaurant and shop!

Went during restaurant week, cheesetique never disappoints. I got the gnocchi and it was delightful.

This is one of those places that I'd lived near for several years but never heard of and I'm sad. Cheesetique is fantastic. I love that they change the menu seasonally and I stopped in during the cherry blossom menu. While here I got the cherry grilled cheese and the Sakura kiss cocktail. The grilled cheese was delicious with cherries and brie cheese with fries. Enough for me to have leftovers but I couldn't let that happen. The Sakura kiss was strong. Sake, vodka and maraschino liqueur. I would ask for some extra cherry juice to be added or have it on the side to be added as necessary. Still, a great drink. Service was the cherry on top here. Sorry, I don't remember her name but she was very fast and accommodating. Couldn't ask for better service.

Aside from the amazing customer service and easy parking, their food is always so good. It's nice to go to a place where the servers actually seem like they like to work there and are treated fairly. Their short rib is definitely my favorite thing that I always come back for along with their Keylime cheesecake. I'm not a big cheesecake person but this is some of the best cheesecake I've ever had, it's so fluffy and fresh. This is such a cute little woman owned café. Definitely stop by next time you're in Delray.

Visited for the first time during restaurant week and I am bummed that I did not try this place earlier. Started my meal off with the wine flight, which paired perfectly with my three course meal selection. I selected the cheese board, cheesesteak and chocolate mousse. Everything was delectable. I sat at the bar and was served by Izzy(?). She was hospitable and fun to chat with. I ended my meal with the espresso martini. I will definitely be returning, especially to check out their wine shop next door.

The price of the food is why I can't give it a 5. The price of our food was way too high for what we received. Nice live music was playing, wine was good, and the fondue was cool but the accompaniments of it were a bit odd with the large amount of cheese that was given.

Wanted to like this place but really not impressed. The fondue consistency was clumpy and looked like cheese had separated right as it got to the table. It wasn't thick and smooth. The bread dipping pieces were kinda of cold. Blackened chicken breast sandwich was moist, but you can really get a chicken sandwich anywhere lol. The harvest bowl was under seasoned and the greens were a little wilty. Service was friendly.

Located just off the bustle of King St., Brut sits unassumingly among the Old Town townhomes. You could easily walk past, and not notice it at all. But, if you've dialed in Brut as your destination, be prepared to step in to an oenophile's wet dream. The establishment is both a bottle shop and a wine bar. Every bottle in the joint is carefully curated. There is no junk...no fluff...no quid to subsidize quo...all excellence, from any country or region your heart may desire. Do your Christmas shopping here, for sure. That shopping is going to make you thirsty, so pony up to the small but well appointed bar. Its no easy thing to find a bar with a good "wine by the glass" list, but Brut manages that task with ease. From your sauvignon blancs, through the pinots, to full bodied reds...take a flight of fancy, and walk home well fortified. Since the bar is small, and seats are at a premium, the owner Dustin does a masterful job of weeding out the Riff-raff. Trust me when I say that watching it is far better than TV. I cannot recommend this cool little spot more highly. Maybe I'll see ya there sometime!

We were completely overlooked and had to go up to the bar ourselves to ask for menus and water. The food itself was decent. The Hot Artichoke Dip was creamy and served with pita. We planned to enjoy dessert at the restaurant and also order takeout, but there was confusion and staff assumed the ice cream was to-go. The wait times were excessive: 40 minutes for ice cream 15 additional minutes for salmon takeout Another 10 minutes for the artichoke dip By the end of the visit, the delays and lack of attention made the experience feel frustrating and not worth it. The first two times, the food wasn't great but the location was nice and the service was decent so we came back a third time for the ambiance. We had to send back two small plates--the kabob and the mussels. The kabob tasted like the meat had gone bad and the mussels as if they were sitting in their own excrements for hours. However, we still continued ordering more plates and drinks because we were enjoying being by the water and my sister and I were taking our dad out for a nice day. The manager approached our table with a passive aggressive vibe. She asked why we sent back the food and we explained. She then told us that the chef tried the dishes we sent back. They tasted just fine to him. She let that sit there. I just blinked at her in silent disbelief. The awkward silence made my sister so uncomfortable, she began apologizing for sending it back. I interjected, and reiterated what was unpleasant about the two dishes. This woman had the gall to continue passive aggressively stating the chef tried the dishes, insinuating we were lying or...I don't know what. Keep in mind, we had ordered like five other small dishes, my sister, my dad and myself ordered two alcoholic beverages each. We weren't cheapskates trying to lower our tab by sending back 2 measly plates. I had half a mind to say; "I didn't realize the patron of this restaurant is the chef. Is HE paying for our meal and drinks--or WE paying for his and your salary?" Of course, I didn't say that. I've worked in restaurants for years before, so I continued sternly but politely reiterating we did not enjoy the two plates, asked for the check, tipped well, and never returned. The worst experience I'ever had in a restaurant. Ever. So much so that 1.5 years later, I still randomly think about it.

Except for those at the bar, the seating is so low that you end up staring at the wall rather than the skyline. Food & Drink: The menu is quite limited because there's no kitchen on the rooftop. Most dishes are prepared downstairs and brought up, which contributes to slower service. That said, the drinks are excellent--perfect for enjoying a cocktail with a view.
