Xarel·lo is a white grape variety of Spanish origin specially grown in Catalonia. we then tasted the Garnache rose grape. 3rd glass was the Tempranillo, and the final was the Vermouth. It's a more modern space inside with fresh seafood and produce stands alternating with spice purveyors and prepared food counters. All of it looked appetizing though there wasn't much seating on the premises. Through its various iterations in the atmospheric La Ribera neighborhood, the market has been here since 1848.
