I cannot remember the young guy's name but he was a tremendous help in helping me to understand Cava. He also helped to understand the priorat grape as well. He offered us to taste his organic wines, see the photo. They were all fresh and crisp. We started with the Xarel-lo grape. Xarel·lo is a white grape variety of Spanish origin specially grown in Catalonia. we then tasted the Garnache rose grape. 3rd glass was the Tempranillo, and the final was the Vermouth. The Vermouth was not sweet as i thought it might be. Very much more like a digestif. He was very helpful and we appreciated the experience. read more
