We were unawares of this and had gone there looking for some gourmet snacks to bring home to relatives. The bottom floor holds the liquors while the upstairs holds the wines. Very large selection of liquors (even Japanese surprisingly). In a corner, in the back (on the bottom floor) there is a very small selection of cheeses & prosciutto if you have guests over and don't have time to make another stop to grab some snacks to go with your drinks. In the front by the cashier, there is also a small selection of cookies, biscuits, and canned goods (sardines, olives, etc). We bought 2 bottles of wine that were reasonably priced to make sangria and it turned out great! Definitely stop by if you need some wine/liquors.

We bought a bottle they suggested for 13euros and took it back to our apartment. It was corked. We brought it back. 'Esta mal. ' I told the woman, 'No es bueno'. She didn't believe me. She tried the wine and told me that it was fine. We argued. Exchanged it for another bottle, and refunded 1euro difference. Another of the staff tried the wine, and agreed that it was corked. The second bottle wasn't anything special. Just a one dimensional wine that was disappointing.

The older couple that ran it don't speak English, but we're very accommodating. He found us the perfect Spanish Asti Moscato, full of bubbles and the perfect sweetness for the hot summer days of Spain. The local red blend was robust with a slight dry finish that paired deliciously with beef dishes. Together they were under 20€. I love the price and taste of local finds. No parking near the shop. Easy walking from LaRambla or Gothic. They accept Visa tap.

They give you complimentary potato chips which complement the beer quite nicely. I loved this place's selection and will gladly be back. If you're in the area, I recommend that you do the same.
