Very good cheesecake. I tried the plain and the chocolate/peanut butter. Both are rich and creamy. I will buy again.

My daughter came home with a plain cheesecake. It was the best I ever tasted. Hands down.

I love this restaurant. It's such a Hometown staple with lots of cute, small town shops along the…read moresidewalk and a nearby farmers market on Saturdays.. Open on Labor Day. Natural warm ambience with silk flowers and exposed red brick decor of the inside of the Dutcher house. We didn't have a reservation, but they seated my son and I immediately in the back, it wasn't busy. Service was exceptional, the food was amazing, my kid had lobster risotto and I had a French onion soup followed by Caesar salad. They serve free, warm bread loaves and farm fresh butter. I ordered a unsweetened iced tea which was a bit surprising that it wasn't homemade but rather from a Harney and son's bottle for $12 thank you very much. The total bill came to $90 and with tip $120. Wonderful experience thank you to the restaurant

Another local favorite, the question is always sweet or savory when having a big breakfast here…read more I'm more savory than sweet I guess, but they do both brilliantly. The weather today had me lazy this morning, getting me out an hour or more after their opening. That simply meant peeling away that excuse to not get a burger. Being more of an eggs guy in the morning, today's brunch of wagyu burger and fries totally worked. It's the first of their burgers I've had in years, and had me thinking about coming in a bit later going forward. Then again, it was packed. It may be that the rainy weather kept more people local, but...no, it's always hopping and I normally beat the crowds. Oh, in addition to my usual black coffee, I always appreciate their multi-ingredient drinks.

Even though it was a little pricey (I'm used to the CT. Farm prices)to get in it was well worth it!…read moreBarton Orchards had a hayride (that made a stop so you can pick apples), the biggest corn maze I've been to,haunted house, fire pit(to warm yourself up),magic show, live music, petting zoo,& mini amusement park! This place is like the Disney world of farms. The employees @ the bars & restaurants were pleasant.I can't say that about the entry ticket booth/amusement park ones. Let's just say they need a cider or two to lighten up. P.S. The cider donuts were to die for. Nice, warm, fresh yummy to my tummy!

Extremely disappointing! I've been going to Barton Orchards for over 10 years, and every year it…read moreseems to get worse. The prices have become absolutely ridiculous, and the customer service is just as disappointing. This year was the last straw. It cost $100 just for myself and my two kids, ages 9 and 10, to get into the fall festival. Then I found out that if my kids wanted to go on any of the FIVE carnival rides, I had to pay an additional $30 PER CHILD for wristbands! On top of that, it was another $25 for a small bag for apple picking. How does a family afford to enjoy a simple fall day out anymore? You pay $100 just to walk in the door, and then you're hit with extra charges for practically everything. For these prices, you would expect a much better experience and, at the very least, friendly customer service. Unfortunately, the staff we encountered were rude, which made the whole experience even worse. It's sad because this used to be a place we looked forward to visiting every fall, and after more than 10 years of going, I can honestly say it's no longer worth the money. Barton Orchards has become overpriced, disappointing, and lacking the customer service that should come with the experience. We won't be rushing back next year.
