I am not an angry person, but I have never seen my character get so disrespected, not only my friends at the bar (who ordered drinks, were sitting and chatting, being polite customers... we work in the service industry too so we get it) but to his coworkers and other customers within the establishment. Whether or not I deserved to hear the comments from my friends (learning that he has been making multiple passive aggressive statements, reducing me to some drunk girl who can't take care of herself), to encourage and endorse the attitude of not only a staff member but your management staff without a single conversation with me to at least assess the situation is unacceptable, especially in customer service focused jobs. We were there for 20 minutes at the most and 3-4 comments had been made to my social circle. God forbid a woman needs a moment to collect herself? I had not made a "mess" nor was I destructive or rude. All I did was walk into the establishment, put all the laies on my friends, walk into the bathroom, put up my hair, walk out, talk to my friends for about 3-5 minutes, walk back into the bathroom and cried in the stall for the last 10 minutes, spoke to my friend in the bathroom about leaving, then was informed that apparently that bartender has been telling them that I'm "their mess to clean up". I enjoy coming to these neighborhood joints, albeit sometimes I feel like a bit of an outsider, not knowing anyone in a place where everyone else is familiar with each other, but I usually always have an enjoyable experience, and this time was no different. The prices here are great! ***My 16oz OK+ PBR was a mere $2*** Might I add it was the perfect price for the last $3 cash I had on me---speaking of---it's a **CASH ONLY** bar. So come prepared, but there's an on-site ATM if you forget. Even while sitting by myself in a booth (witting this review) they handed me a shot and notified me that a gentleman bought a round for the bar to toast to a child they all know who they just found out has leukemia. I thought this was a very generous gesture, and raised my glass in honor of the moment. It's places like this that I feel make the local Oklahoma neighborhood bar scene unique. While we may not always know each other, we can always raise a glass in solidarity to honor those deserving and even help deserving folk when we may not even know their name.
