I play darts here every Thursday night. I've only been here one other day, and that was a Sunday morning. Karen is the bartender/server on Thursday night's. She is absolutely amazing. Drinks are never empty, good pour, good prices, food is very good and the atmosphere is a bit of a divey sports bar. I do recommend it. read more

It seems like the food part of the business is leased out because I had to pay upfront for the food order before it was made. Drinks were billed on a separate tab. I would not recommend eating here. Came here on Friday the 18th with family because we were looking for drinks and karaoke. Definitely had that. The waitress, she was excellent for it being her first night. Her name escapes my mind though. The karaoke was different from what I'm used to, with the music being non-stop and the KJ just going through the crowd to find the person who is up to sing. Opinions ..we all have them.. I believe for the first weekend this place did an amazing job. I walked in Friday and Saturday night by 830pm and it was packed the tables were full... When I first pulled up and saw the parking lot how full it was I was pretty amazed. When I was leaving about midnight... there were 2 gentleman outside laughing and feeling good.. And they said we love this place... Of course the service could have been a bit faster, and the drink specials on a light up board so we know what the specials are.. and prices.. the staff was nice.. had a huge outside patio, fireworks were cute.. In time im sure this place hasnt even begun to be all it can be.. I was understanding that this was the first weekend they were open... im sure they were not expecting the crowd that showed up....and wow... what a crowd..it was nice to sit back and watch the people interact.. with the darts and the pool tables and having a good time... the only other thing I noticed the light over by the bathroom could stand to be a little dimmer... otherwise the decor was very nice. way to go.. the old cheers was a dirty and disgusting place.. Glad you cleaned this up.. The majority of the crowd was age 30 and greater.. which is perfect .. Amazing food and amazing ranch. Best ranch in town. Pretty good drink prices. Depends on what day you go on. Vodka drinks are very expensive compared to other bars. They only have 1 person behind the bar which sometimes takes you forever to get a drink. read more

Cheers is a good dive bar, The inside is very spacious. They have about 6 state of the art dart boards and 2 pool tables. The people were very friendly and grown. Everyone participated in karaoke in the 4 hours I was there. The two bartenders were a bit quiet but kept the drinks flowing. They're not the best at making cocktails (Amaretto Sour & Liquid Marijuana) but at least they did not shy away from it. I will definitely be going back & this time I will try the food read more

I'm not sure this is even the correct location, that's how disappointed I am in this place. The pictures on here look nothing like it does in person, the stools are not stable at all and you're constantly rocking back and forth just to reach for your drink. Both of the sodas that were ordered at our table were extremely flat, when I asked our server if she could change them out for a tea she told me that she would still be charging both drinks to our table, then when I ordered a the 12 piece wings I asked if I could do half and half on the sauce and she responded with "no, it's a pain". I went out last Friday for my birthday with some friends. It was my first time being there, and the atmosphere was so welcoming. Music/karaoke was amazing. The bartender was so kind and welcoming , drinks were never empty. I highly recommend this place! Great service, great people! The food at this place is AMAZING! It was recently taken over by a new chef after a stint of them having no food. He has done great things w/ the kitchen and is providing a variety of awesome bar food w/ a little bit of everything for everyone! The whiskey BBQ wings have the BEST flavor! I loved the mac n cheese bites, easily my new favorite! Also, the tachos are a twist on nachos w/ tater tots! Definitely a fun and amazing item!! Big fan of the corn fritters and my daughter LOVED the burger too! No food even though advertised. Drinks are watered down and weak. Very overpriced drinks. Karaoke host was excellent. Lots of singers though, so you don't get to sing a lot. Watch out for the dart players as they are rude and in the way. read more

I was here tonight the only bright spot was the bacon cheese burger I had. 15 Minutes for a tap beer and attitude from the bartender wasn`t good. There where maybe 20 people including the staff, yet it took so long for drinks that My husband decided to leave and I was fine with it. I bar tend at a local strip club and cant imagine what would happen if I treated females the way I was treated. I hope the owners deal with this if so we might come back. read more

As a dive bar it's the best. Drinks are cold fast and cheap. Service is great. The current food vendor is very good, I've ordered from the menu at least 5 times since they took over and it has always been really good. Burgers Rock!! The Totachos are also great. Lots of pool tables and dart boards and great staff and customers. I dropped and bag of medicine and a nice lady picked it up and said " this must be yours" I was embarrassed but thankful. Went here with out of town guest last night..hadn't been here in a few years but since the Hoot Owl closed, we picked this place for drinks and food. The food is good, the service slow, and the mix drinks horrible !! I drink scotch n water and you couldn't even see scotch in the glass ! Another drink of vodka tonic was all tonic and after two tries we gave up and left. It's a beer bar if you want a good drink n the wine selection is very limited..won't be back unless I need a beer n burger !!! read more

So if you actually read threw most of the reviews. You will notice most of the bad reviews come from previous patrons or maybe workers. That is how I feel, and they are bias in my view because people do not like change. So my real rating from some one who was told about this place. I would give this more of a 3.5 rating cause it better than average for a local bar. Your get a sports bar feel from the pool tables, shuffle boards, sports games playing. Friday night and Saturday night are the "busy" nights. They run Karaoke on those nights but I cant fully call it a karaoke bar cause its not ever night. Only been there one time on a Friday night went by my self cause I enjoy karaoke. I feel its more of a neighborhood bar, its not a dance club and pick up ladies bar. It feels like regulars and some of there friend hanging out enjoying karaoke. Its a great spot for friends to hag out for sure. Song selection was decent give it a 4/5. I am used to having any song I want to sing with my friend who host Karaoke on other nights so I am spoiled. As far as the service, I was at the karaoke book for about 2-3 min bye the karaoke host station so no waitress noticed me. That is understandable, I am alone and could be with a group since I was at the host table. I then decided to sit at the bar. The Woman/Bartender did not seem to notice me at first, she was washing dishes for about 1-2 min. Not a big deal, but I feel you should acknowledge the person and say I will be right with you if your gonna continue doing dishes. Then she came over after she was done, she smiled and politely asked what I wanted. I told I wanted my usual Southern Comfort and Sprite. She got it right away. Then asked if I wanted to pay cash or start a tab. I said ill start a tab. Then she asked, "may I steal a card from you" I dont like this phrase at all in a professional sense. Even though I disliked it I was quite and I handed her my card respectfully and she then put the card on the back table with my name I assume attached to it. Now here is what I dislike the most. I was never told her name there was no introduction it was just what would you like and give me your card pretty much. So I gave her my precious Credit Card and I don't know her. . .I have previous bar tending experience, I feel its like greeting some one for the first time you say hello ask there name and tell them yours and make them feel welcome. A smile and fast service is nice, but a warm welcome and a new friend is better. I honestly feel it was not that busy because it was only like 930ish and maybe 8 people at the bar. If you want to make new customers and longer patrons my advice is tell them your name say it a couple times so they don't have to yell or scream "hey Miss" or "Hey Bartender" Cause I know that pissed me off when I worked. I am trying to help these are little things that can make a huge difference in service and repeat customers. So in terms of service I would give it a 2.5/5 totally average nothing special. So on the drinks that is what people come out for to get good drinks and food depending. I have too say my first drink was average on pour, the second one tasted like a double. So over all I would say that is good 4/5 easily she knew how to make drinks and was very fast. Not sure if she meant to make the second one stronger but I could see the Dark amber color in mixed with the sprite on the second drink so it was good pour for sure. I only had 2 drinks I had a 9$ tab + 3$tip included I feel the service was decent enough for it it could of been better I do not find great bartenders any more honestly. So finally to the Crowd at Cheers. I sang 2 songs both time they clapped and some Women with there Husband or Significant other. Complemented me on how well of a job I did. I know I have a good voice not star material by any means but I love music. The total Crowd was nice and pleasant, other than one gentleman who could of passed off for a hard core biker guy with his leather jacket and tattoos stated' "How does it feel to be gay." I did not take offence at all I just smiled and said," You are not the first to ask if I was gay or even say a comment like that." he chuckled "not the first, really?!?" Then I stated, "Being gay is not a bad thing. I am not gay and I feel some women prefer a sensitive type. I sing songs about love or that women appeal to because its a great way to pick them up." He laughed and I finished signing my tab I stated, "enjoy your night sir, maybe you should try and sing too" and I walked out. Thank you Cheers for an awesome night! Last night was my 40th birthday celebration and we had a large party to accommodate. They did an amazing job of keeping everyone happy!!! The service was EXCELLENT, she was always available, she got the drinks right every time, the tabs were accurate and she did it all with a smile. The karaoke master was also great. He did a wonderful job of mixing it up, no long intervals of ballets or Sappy crap, and he wasn't playing favorites to the regulars. The place was clean, just enough space to keep it fun & the location was good (plenty of available well lite evening parking space). I had a few skeptics when they heard Cheers was on the menu for the evening... They were all converted last night. We will definitely be back! Thank you for a great west side party bar! read more

I have been there several times and it is an OK bar...today I come in after work and prepay for 2 tall beers which came to 10 bucks...I tipped 2.00...when she got my second beer she reused my warm mug...needless to say the beer was not cold...seriously? I won't be back EVER! She picked the wrong guy on the wrong day to do that to...I will spread the word every chance I get.... read more

We were in this past Saturday. We had a kick ass time. Dave the bartender was incredible. He was super attentive, makes incredible drinks, is hilarious and really hot. We're going back this weekend. Ok.....so I know the new cheers has big shoes to fill and in no way am I trying to bring down the old cheers as I loved that place as much as everyone else did. As the new Cheers came about I heard a few things and me being who I am I wanted to try it out for myself. I came in with my roommate for the first time and yes it was weird to see the change but immediately I felt comfortable and welcome. It was clean, it smelled good, it looked nice, had a good vibe, nothing that would have turned me away in the first second...but then again I am not one to judge a book by its cover.. So as I sat down and began my night it was nothing but fun. They had karaoke, they had a good crowd, no drama, and overall a good vibe! The owners were down to earth and were nice enough to talk to everyone. I had a great time and there is no question if I will be back.. Since then I have brought my friends in and all of them have enjoyed every minute of it (who were also regulars at the old cheers) and will be back!!! It's good to give something a chance before you immediately bash it. Its is a great place with great people so far...so all the haters can stay at tailgaters.. :) read more
